Chapter 783 This Man Is Truly Sinister

With him being so direct, Thalia really couldn’t find anything else to say.

He always made his intentions clear and hadn’t crossed any lines. The best she could do was to accept it openly, instead of getting lost in her own emotions. Otherwise, being together would just become exhausting.

Thalia typed a message on her phone, “Let’s go grocery shopping.”

Sebastian’s lips curled into a faint smile as he replied, “Sure.”

They went grocery shopping together. Sebastian pushed the cart, staying right behind her, watching as she carefully picked out each item. Her gentle, beautiful profile made his heart melt in ways he never expected.

He adjusted his glasses, and couldn’t help but think, ‘When are they finally going to get divorced? Honestly, I can hardly wait.’

Darion sat in the living room, phone in hand, waiting for Thalia to text back. But his phone was dead silent, like it had just stopped working.

He sat there quietly, his broad shoulders slumped a bit, and that sense of helplessness started creeping back in.

Just then, his phone buzzed. He immediately listened to the screen reader and followed the prompts to operate his phone.

But the message wasn’t from Thalia. It was an update from her bodyguard, the one assigned to keep her safe.

Bodyguard: [Thalia met with Sebastian Flynn.]

Bodyguard: [Thalia and Sebastian Flynn had coffee together.]

Bodyguard: [Thalia and Sebastian Flynn went grocery shopping together.]

Bodyguard: [Thalia brought Sebastian Flynn back to the old villa. Diana was really happy.]

Darion was speechless.

‘This phone’s useless right now, he thought.

He tossed the phone aside, slumped back against the couch, rubbing his temples, the air around him thick with icy loneliness.

“Ahem…”

Just then, a soft cough broke the silence.

Darion’s expression didn’t change. He asked in a flat tone, “What is it?”

Natasha gave a sheepish chuckle. “Uh… am I messing up your moody vibe right now? But I checked the clock and I couldn’t wait any longer. It’s time for your acupuncture session.”

Natasha had actually been out for a few minutes, watching Darion’s whole

performance. She rolled her eyes, unable to help herself.

Natasha thought, ‘This guy’s such a pro at acting pitiful. So sneaky, so crafty. Thalia’s so soft-hearted. How could she not fall for him?’

She just couldn’t stand it anymore, so she finally spoke up.

Darion tugged at his lips and said, “You should’ve filmed me and sent it to her, so you two could roast me for being so melodramatic.”

Natasha’s eyes widened. She honestly couldn’t believe he’d actually use that word about himself.
