The cold electronic female voice echoed in the kitchen, “You’ve had too much to drink.”

Thalia’s slender fingers kept tapping away at the screen. The electronic voice continued, “Samuel has already prepared the guest room for you. Go rest for a while. If you’re drunk, just sleep it off and don’t overthink things.”

Sebastian listened to the icy electronic voice, lowered his head a little, and gave a helpless smile. Then he nodded and said, “Yeah, I’m feeling a bit dizzy.”

He turned and left the kitchen.

Thalia let out a small sigh of relief, put her phone away, and tidied up the rest of the things.

She paused and sighed softly. “Maybe the only regret I have is that I haven’t gotten to see you truly happy and carefree.”

“You… will… see… me… happy,” Thalia said urgently.

She was eager to take care of everything as soon as possible, so she could finally

enjoy those easy, carefree days living with Diana.

Diana smiled and nodded. “Alright, I’ll be waiting.”

Thalia nestled close to Diana, reluctant to part with this comforting warmth.

Once Diana had fallen asleep, Thalia went to Samuel’s room.

Samuel was surprised to see her so late and asked, “Miss Thalia, is there something you need?”

Thalia typed on her phone, “Samuel, while I’m away, I’ll have to trouble you to look after Diana for me.”
