Willow, acting on instinct, lunged forward with surprising force.

Even with her own considerable strength, Zara couldn’t fend off Willow’s erratic blows; amid the chaos, she accidentally sliced her hand.
Oriana’s expression changed in an instant. She quickly shoved Kai toward Willow.
“Kaibby!”
Willow’s gaze snapped to Kai, and at once she released Zara.
“Zara, let me see your hand.”
As Oriana anxiously lifted Zara’s hand to inspect the wound, Zara barely glanced at it and said, “It’s nothing. It’ll heal within the hour.”
“We should still get some disinfectant from the pharmacy,” Oriana said with a frown.
Unbothered, Zara turned toward Kai and Willow–who were now glaring daggers at each other -and sneered, “Still clinging to grudges from so long ago? You two can’t move on, so you just keep recycling the same tired drama for eternity, huh?”
“What’s the big deal about buying two? Is there a limit now? We can afford it! Oriana just wanted the couple’s version with her husband–why does Luna have to interfere? What’s her problem? What, does she want to turn it into a ‘sisters‘ set‘? Would she even dare buy it–or wear it? Oriana risked her life to save her and didn’t even get a thank–you! Instead, she gets harassed over a purchase? I said from the start we should’ve left her–utterly disgusting!”
Willow, seeing the red mark on Kai’s wrist, grew even angrier. “Oriana chose to save her–that was her decision! Luna never asked for it. Ever heard the saying, ‘Do good without expecting anything in return‘?”
Zara let out a sharp laugh, her fury bubbling over. “I can’t stand you! Birds of a feather, the lot of you–no wonder you get along so well. You’re all the same brand of vile!”
The store clerk, who had been watching in shock, hadn’t expected things to spiral so fast and hurriedly called mall security.
Oriana drew in a deep breath, unwilling to get dragged any deeper into the chaos. She fixed the others with a cold, steady gaze.
“Are you done? If you still have complaints, take them to the police. The store’s security

She paused, her voice turning icy as she said to Kai, “But when the time comes, it’s hard to say who’ll lose more.”
Kai froze.
Behind his sunglasses, his eyes were cold and sharp. “Are you threatening me?”
“Mr. Sullivan,” Oriana replied evenly, “I’m simply giving you a choice.”
Before Kai could answer, a chorus of gasps erupted from the store clerks. Their eyes were wide with surprise and confusion.
“Mr. Sullivan? Wait–could he be Kaibby? Oh my god, I just saw a real celebrity!”
“I thought Kai was supposed to be really nice. Isn’t he known for being kind?”
“Please, celebrities all have public images. That’s just how it works.”
“I knew he looked familiar the second he walked in! My sister’s obsessed with him–her whole room’s covered in his posters and cutouts. I can’t believe this is the person she idolizes! Hitting a woman and stealing? He’s got no morals! I’m giving her a serious talk when I get home!”
Kai’s jaw tightened.
Willow’s face went pale as she realized how bad things had just gotten.
Their identities–exposed. She shot Oriana a furious glare. “You did this on purpose!”
Oriana didn’t deny it. She merely arched an eyebrow. “Still not leaving? Security will be here any second.”
Kai seethed, every muscle tense, but he couldn’t retaliate–not against her.
She might look delicate and harmless, but when she’d grabbed him earlier, her grip had felt like iron–like she could snap his bones if she wanted to.
Even now, the spots where she’d pressed his pressure points were still tingling, faintly numb.
Anger churned in his chest, but in the end, all he could do was bow his head and let Willow lead him out.
The saleswoman who had helped Oriana earlier hurried over, worry etched on her face. “I’m so sorry–are you two alright? We have a first–aid kit here. Please, let me help clean and

“Thank you,” Oriana said sincerely.
After Zara’s wound was cleaned and bandaged, mall security questioned the saleswoman about what had happened. The staff and guards apologized repeatedly to Oriana and Zara.
Oriana reassured them with a calm smile. “It’s alright. The trouble was caused by Willow and Kai–it had nothing to do with the store.”
An hour later, Oriana sat with the jewelry box open before her. The elegant bracelet inside gleamed softly, the delicate accents catching the light and lending it quiet brilliance. A faint smile touched her lips.
Zara gave her a playful thumbs–up, her eyes alight with amusement and admiration.
“Even the nicest person has a breaking point. I’ve just seen it in action. When Oriana fights back, she’s fiercer than you’d expect.”
Oriana laughed, “Since when have I ever been tame?”
Zara thought for a moment, then replied teasingly, “Back when you were the well–behaved daughter of the Sterling family–gentle, hardworking, content to stay by Grant’s side without complaint.”
Oriana blinked, then joined in the joke, her tone light. “I suppose I hadn’t woken up back then. But things are different now.”
“Very true,” Zara said with a grin. “You should’ve seen your face earlier–you were fierce! When you give that bracelet to Micah, make sure to tell him all about your heroic moment. And if you’re too shy, don’t worry–I’ll do the storytelling for you. He’ll be completely smitten.”
Oriana smiled, shaking her head. Tonight, Micah was treating them to dinner–it would be the first formal meeting between the two most important people in her life.
