Chapter 365 Excitement
Since it was his child, of course, Zara was going to demand money from him.

After all, Kenny was terminal anyway, and all that money would be wasted if left untouched–better he give it to her.
“W–what did you say?”
Kenny’s eyes went wide.
This time, Zara didn’t slap him, but his mind felt even more scrambled, buzzing like a hive.
His shocked gaze shifted from Zara’s bright, spoiled face to her slim waist, small enough that he could
wrap
his arm around it in one sweep.
She’s carrying my child? Really?
Zara stayed silent for a moment, then rolled her eyes and repeated herself flatly, “Did you even hear me? I’m pregnant–with your baby. Now pay up so I can get an abortion—”
“W–what abortion?”
“Oh my God, no! You can’t–you absolutely can’t!”
Zara hadn’t even woken Kenny up yet, but the words reached Niamh, who had just entered.
For the first time, the usually composed and elegant woman’s face showed an exaggerated, ecstatic expression of relief and joy.
She suddenly rushed into the bathroom. Seeing Zara’s pale face and the way she hid behind Kenny, Niamh immediately slowed down, showing careful goodwill. “Miss I’m Kenny’s mother. Are you really pregnant with Kenny’s child?”
Zara’s mind went blank.
Oh no, this has gone all the way to the parents. Totally doomed!
Oriana returned to the floor where she and Zara had parted, but couldn’t find her.
She was puzzled until she caught sight of a familiar man,
“Micah?”
Just as she was about to approach, she noticed a familiar nurse stepping out of a treatment room, quickly following Micah and his group.
The nurse called out, walking a few steps forward as if to speak to Micah.

From Oriana’s angle, the nurse’s every movement seemed fussy and affected, her hands clutching a small bag, arms pressed in to subtly highlight her figure.
Oriana couldn’t hear the words from that distance, but the nurse’s soft, coy tone was clear enough.
Micah didn’t even glance her way, showing obvious impatience.
Oriana squinted and walked over. “Micah?”
He paused, surprised to see her at the hospital.
His mood shifted quickly, and he reached out toward her, pulling her into his arms. “Why are you here? You’re finally off duty; there’s no need to visit Kenny.”
“I’m here with Zara.”
“Zara? She came to Jindiwood?”
“Yes.”
As they spoke, the nurse had quietly withdrawn.
It was the same nurse from outside Kenny’s ward yesterday, once again avoiding Oriana.
“Do you know that nurse?”
“She’s with Director Smith’s team,” Micah said briefly. “I was about to leave, but she approached me on her
own.”
Kieran and the others had already sensibly moved a bit further away. Oriana nudged Micah’s side. “Looks like she has a crush on you, Mr. Caldwell.”
Micah looked innocent, leaning toward her palm as if to let her vent. “Honey, even a single strand of my hair belongs to you. No one can take it.”
Oriana pushed away his clinging face. “Weren’t you going to a meeting?”
“I stopped by on the way. By the way, where’s Zara? Is she sick?”
Oriana was about to answer when her phone rang.
Zara had called her.
They arrived at the ward to see Cordell and Niamh hugging each other, tears streaming, saying, “The family line isn’t broken; there’s still hope.” Oriana glanced at Zara, sitting awkwardly on the bed like she’d done something wrong, and immediately understood everything.
What Oriana hadn’t expected was that Zara’s baby would be Kenny’s.
