My Unborn Baby Chose My Husband for Me novel Chapter 359

Tiffany's boisterous voice immediately blasted through the speaker. "Sera! I was away on a business trip for a few days and I missed you to death!"

"Hurry up and bring my godson to see me!"

Seraphina glanced down at the baby in her arms. Though she wasn't really in the mood, she agreed anyway.

That afternoon, the sunlight poured beautifully through the windows of a local café. As soon as Tiffany walked in, her eyes locked onto the little guy in the stroller.

"Ahhhh, my godson is so handsome!"

Little Bean obligingly widened his big, round eyes to look at her, radiating so much cuteness that Tiffany practically melted into a puddle right then and there.

She reached out to poke his chubby cheeks, but out of the corner of her eye, she noticed Seraphina sitting across the table, frowning deeply.

Tiffany's heart skipped a beat, and she pulled her hand back.

After ordering their drinks, Seraphina stirred her milk aimlessly for several minutes without taking a sip before finally speaking up.

"Tiff, I have a friend whose husband has been acting... a little strange lately."

Tiffany's hand stopped mid-air as she reached for her coffee.

She stared wide-eyed at Seraphina. "Hold up, hold up."

"You're not talking about yourself, are you?"

"The classic 'I have a friend' routine? Sera, do you think I'm an idiot?"

Called out so quickly, Seraphina gave an awkward, tight-lipped smile as the tips of her ears grew hot.

Tiffany's brow furrowed, and the flames of pure gossip ignited in her eyes.

"Spill it. What did Lucian do? Is there someone else?"

Hesitantly, Seraphina recounted all the strange incidents from the past week.

As Tiffany listened, her expression darkened.

"Late-night phone calls, hiding things on purpose, using a soft tone, and hanging up the second you walk in."

She stared at Seraphina, looking utterly grave.

"Add it all up, and he's either planning some massive surprise for you, or... well, you know."

Seraphina didn't reply.

She knew exactly what it implied.

It was because she knew so well that she hadn't slept peacefully in days.
