No longer a pushover (Noelle and Cedric) novel Chapter 637

Upon hearing the familiar voice, Noelle turned and saw Cedric approaching them. The soft glow of the lights cast shadows on his handsome features, making them even more striking.

Cedric's arrival instantly drew a lot of attention. After all, he was one of the most sought-after bachelors in their city.

Now that the rumors of his engagement with Laura were dispelled, countless families were eager to introduce their daughters to him. Cedric ignored the gazes around him and walked straight to Noelle, his eyes never once leaving hers. "Sorry, I'm late."

Noelle was at a loss for words at his arrival. The crowd whispered among themselves.

"Is Mr Greene really dating Ms. Liddell?"

Noelle heard the murmurs but said nothing.

Salena hadn't expected Cedric to show up at the party. Wasn't Anastasia ill? Hadn't he gone to the hospital?

She forced a smile. "What do you mean, Mr. Greene?"

"What I meant was, let me clear up any misunderstanding you might have," Cedric said coldly, making it clear he wasn't going to back down.

Salena never thought Cedric would publicly announce Noelle as his girlfriend. Noelle had more influence over Cedric than she imagined.

She managed a smile. "Oh, it's nothing serious. Of course, any guest with an invitation is welcome here."

"But I heard you telling her to leave. I'm sure there was a reason for that, right?" Cedric was relentless, having no intention of letting the matter slide.

Before Salena could respond, Brittany stepped forward. "Mr. Greene, let's not push Mrs. Cantrell too hard. This whole mess started because the Liddell family was shameless.
