Rebirth Revenge Is Everything (Ariana) novel Chapter 801

Inside the villa at Eventide Mere.

This was the villa Jane had purchased the moment she returned to the country.

The Eventide Mere villa district had been her childhood dream—a place she had always longed to live in. The name "Eventide Mere" came from the man-made lake nestled within the estate, so exquisitely designed it resembled a secluded paradise.

Only the wealthy and powerful could reside here.

Even the White family had failed to secure a property in this prestigious enclave.

Yet now, she lived here.

Jane sat on the second-floor balcony of her villa, her fingers tapping rhythmically against the tea table, her eyes brimming with cold amusement. Just then, a knock sounded at the bedroom door. Her brows furrowed slightly in irritation as she called out impatiently, "Come in."

The cook entered cautiously.

In a timid voice, she asked, "Madam, what would you and the young master like for dinner?"

Jane frowned before replying indifferently, "Prepare foie gras for me again. As for the young master, just make whatever he usually likes."

The cook quickly nodded. "Yes, madam."

The foie gras Jane demanded was no ordinary dish. The preparation was intricate, and even the raw ingredients were exorbitantly expensive. But the cook dared not object—after all, it wasn’t her money being spent.

Her only duty was to fulfill her role as the household chef.

Once she received clear instructions, the cook retreated. Only after the unwelcome presence had left did Jane’s expression ease, as if the air had finally cleared.

Her mood had improved slightly.

She glanced down at her phone, her fingers unconsciously rubbing the screen. A rare flicker of irritation flashed in her eyes.

It had been days.

Rawls hadn’t contacted her, nor had he mentioned coming to see her. This had gradually unsettled Jane’s heart.

She knew she was merely Rawls’ mistress, even though she had borne him a son. But Rawls had plenty of illegitimate children—far too many. Having a son didn’t grant her any special privileges.

After all, he wasn’t purely Asian.

He didn’t share the domestic obsession with sons. In his eyes, boys and girls were just his children—nothing more.

The only thing that mattered was whether they were useful or not.

And that was precisely why Jane felt uneasy.

Because she didn’t have many bargaining chips. What she truly wanted was to become Rawls’ wife, but she understood all too well that it was impossible. So, before Rawls married, she had to completely capture his heart. Otherwise, there would truly be no place left for her or her son.

Just as Jane was growing restless, the door creaked open softly.

A little boy then stepped in timidly.

This child was Jane and Rawls’s son—adorable as jade and snow, with light brown eyes inherited from Rawls. He could undoubtedly be called a little heartthrob. Now, he approached cautiously and, upon reaching Jane, called out in a small voice, "Mommy."

Jane, lost in thought, was startled by her son’s sudden voice.

When she snapped back to reality, her expression darkened slightly.

Jane frowned and asked, "What is it?"

The price is only 1/4 of what others charge
