Read Arabella and Alvise novel Chapter 108
I took one step back, then another before turning fully, but before I could run, a voice stopped me.
“Wait! I promise, I’m not trying to hurt you.” A man’s voice called out from behind me.
That didn’t calm me down, if anything, it heightened my anxiety. Terrified, I started walking away, quickening my pace, but suddenly, someone grabbed me from behind.
I screamed, but the sound was swallowed by the pounding rain so I thrashed and struggled to break free from their grip.
“Calm down, madam. We want to help you, not hurt you,” the man holding me said, still holding me.
I yanked my hand away with all my strength and spun around to face the him. My vision was blurred by the rain pelting my eyes, so all I could make out was a man dressed in black from head to toe.
Trembling with fear, I furrowed my brows. “We?” I asked, my voice shaking.
He nodded and pointed toward the car. “Yes… my boss and I.”

My gaze flickered to the car and then back to the man as I stared at him warily, panic rising within me. I’d already been abducted twice, and I wasn’t going to willingly put myself in that kind of terrifying situation again.
