Read Arabella and Alvise novel Chapter 67
Heat rushed to my cheeks, and discomfort rushed through me as I was suddenly aware of the weight of everyone’s attention. including my brother’s.
I should deny and tell them it was a lie… I should tell them I didn’t have a boyfriend because that was the truth, but something inside me refused.
I tipped my chin up. “Yes,” I said, “I have a boyfriend.”

Mind Games? Game
ARABELLA’S POV
65 VOUER
“I’m starving.” I said, pouting and clutching my stomach. It was already 7:00 p.m., and I was only just finishing up with work.
Sierra watched me from her desk, her chin resting in her hands.
“Me too. Should I order some food?” she asked. She still had work to finish and had already told her boyfriend to pick us up at eight.
I nodded. “Yeah, please do. Probably pizza too.”
She raised a brow, eyeing me warily. “If I remember correctly, Archie told me not to let you eat any junk”
I groaned in frustration, itching to run to Archie’s workplace and pull out every strand of his hair.
Literally.
It had been almost a week since I was discharged, but I was still staying at his place, being policed twenty-four seven by him He hadn’t even let me return to work until today, and I’d had to practically force him before he finally agreed.
I’d called in sick last week, and surprisingly, Leah gave me the rest of the week off. I loved my brother, but staying anywhere near his fiancée was the hardest thing I’d ever had to do.
Francesca was a witch who fed off my energy and did her absolute best to ruin my mood every single day.
Sighing, I glared at Sierra. “Are you honestly going to do this to me right now?” I pouted. “Girl, order the pizza.”
Sierra shook her head. “Archie told me to take care of you, and that’s exactly what I’m going to do,” she said, her lips tilting defiantly.
