Chapter 12 Come Home With Me
Alden slammed the car door shut. His face darkened while he strode toward Thalia.
He was shocked to find that the man beside her was Tyren. “You actually came back!”
Tyren didn’t respond, only looking coldly at Alden.
Alden met his gaze and felt an oppressive sense of unease. It lasted only a second before he quickly looked away. “Thalia, come home with me!”
He stepped forward and wanted to pull her into his arms.
However, Tyren stepped back, cleanly avoiding his hands. “Take your filthy hands off her.”
Thalia was limp in his arms and wrapped loosely in a suit jacket. Alden couldn’t see her face–only her bare and fair legs dangling weakly in the dim light.
The overwhelming smell of alcohol on her hit Alden when he came close. His brows furrowed sharply. “Tyren, let me remind you that she’s my wife. Who gives you the right to take her out drinking?”
“Keep your lower half under control if you know she’s your wife.” With that, Tyren turned around to open the car door and placed Thalia in the passenger seat.
Alden thought he was about to take Thalia away and rushed forward. He grabbed his shoulder and pressed down with force.” Even if she’s going home, she’ll get in my car.”
“Is your car clean?” Tyren turned around and shoved him hard.
Alden sneered aloud. “Even if it’s not clean, she still prefers it. Don’t forget that she chose me instead of you.”
No matter how much Tyren tried to stop Thalia when the Marquette and Crestfall families arranged the marriage back then, she insisted on marrying Alden.
Tyren and Thalia fought publicly back then. It was so intense that the memory remained vivid to this day.
A murderous light flashed across Tyren’s eyes. He lashed out like a beast and kicked Alden squarely in the lower abdomen.
Alden tried to counter, but he was no match for his speed and strength. He was knocked straight to the ground.
Tyren approached him with a menacing glare, giving him no chance to catch his breath. He grabbed him by the collar and landed another punch. “I warned you back then–I’d take your life if you ever dared to hurt her!”
He landed several punches.
The corner of Alden’s lips split open, blood streaming. He attempted to fight back, only to be met with another blow.
“‘Tyren, you’ve lost control.” Alden might not match him in skill, but he knew exactly where to strike to hurt Tyren the most. “Let me tell you something–she’s never even mentioned you all these years in our marriage. She loves me far more than she ever did you!”
Tyren’s hand froze. Alden struck back during the moment of his distraction, punching him across the right side of his face.
Tyren didn’t dodge, and he was struck in the face. Blood trickled from the corner of his lip.
The passenger door was suddenly opened at that moment. Thalia murmured uncomfortably, “It’s hot…”
Half her body was already leaning outward, looking as if she could fall at any moment.
Tyren snapped back to his senses and caught her immediately.
Thalia’s face was flushed crimson, heat radiating through her skin, and even her breath was burning hot. She had thrown the

suit jacket to the ground, revealing traces and marks on her skin.
She rubbed against Tyren weakly. “It feels so hot…”
Her motion lit every fuse in him again. Tyren comforted her in a hoarse voice, “Be good. We’ll talk when we’re home.”
He quickly fastened her seatbelt and shut the door before getting into the driver’s seat.
