Chapter 13 Bullied in the Crestfall Family
In the rearview mirror, Tyren saw Thalia slumped softly against the seat motionlessly, looking so quiet and obedient that it would make anyone feel protective of her.
He always knew her alcohol tolerance wasn’t good, but he hadn’t expected it to have become this bad after all these years.
She murmured in her sleep, “Tyren, don’t leave….”
The car interior was dark, only the streetlights outside forming a faint halo that fell over her sleeping face.
Tyren’s heart softened instantly. He gently brushed her hair and whispered, “I’m not going anywhere this time.”
He originally planned to kiss her lips, but he hesitated momentarily before placing a light kiss on the corner of her eye.
The car stopped in front of Royal Grace Hotel 20 minutes later.
A bodyguard rushed up to open the car door and bowed at a perfect 90–degree angle after Tyren got out of the car. “Mr. Backshaw!”
When Tyren carried Thalia out of the car, the bodyguard stepped forward kindly. “Mr. Backshaw, let me take her.”
Tyren’s gaze darkened at his outstretched arms. The bodyguard shivered in fear and immediately withdrew his hands before bowing back to the side.
Tyren tightened the jacket around Thalia and strode into the hotel. He walked straight into the bathroom and lowered her gently into the bathtub as soon as he entered the presidential suite.
Warm water slowly filled the bathtub. He was about to turn around to call for a female attendant to come in and help when the sudden splash of water echoed behind him.
A soft and delicate body pressed against his back in the next moment. “Don’t go…”
That was the breaking point of Tyren’s desire. He completely lost control and turned around to hug her, then leaned down and kissed her.
Hot steam filled the bathroom, and moisture fogged up the frosted glass.
Thalia’s entire back was pressed against the cold glass, hands pinned above her head by him. Her flushed face reflected faintly on the mist–covered glass. Her eyes were dazed and teary, looking fragile and innocent.
Tyren showed no mercy at all, sucking and biting her passionately. His kisses and bites left marks everywhere on her skin.
Thalia felt a sharp pain in her chest and gasped in a whimpering protest. “You’re too rough. Be gentle. It hurts…”
His body pressed tightly against hers. Although every nerve screamed at Tyren to take her, he only rubbed against her slowly and resisted the urge to enter. “It hurts, doesn’t it? Did you know how much it hurt when you hurt me back then?”
Tyren wanted to take her completely right here and now, but he also knew the timing wasn’t right. He held back his desire and bit hard on the back of her neck. “I’ll let you go this time. We’ll finish what we started when you get your divorce
certificate.”
With that, he pulled Thalia from the side and wrapped her in a bath towel before carrying her to the bed.
There was a knock outside moments later.
Tyren covered her in the blanket before turning around to walk to the living room.
Cyrus Belmonte nodded respectfully. “Mr. Backshaw, everything has been confirmed. Ms. Marquette has been treated terribly by the Crestfall family for the past few years.
“Mrs. Crestfall had used her like a servant and even made her take care of Kiera, who is pregnant. The situation would’ve

“As for Alden, he has been secretly keeping ties with Kiera. Here’s the evidence of them being intimate at multiple locations over the years,” he said as he handed over the tablet.
On the screen were unrestrained explicit videos of Alden and Kiera.
Tyren glanced briefly at it, and an utter disgust flashed across his eyes. He took a sip of tea and tapped the table lightly without saying a word for a long time.
Cyrus had no idea what was on his mind and asked timidly, “Do you need me to release the evidence?”
Tyren leaned back into the chair and pondered for a while. “When is Sotheby’s next auction?”
“In the next few days.”
“Get some invitation letters and bring Jaron Whitlocke to Yebaku City.”
Thalia woke up from her dream the next morning. The feeling of a headache made her frown.
She massaged her temples, trying to ease the pressure. But the tiny movement tugged at her muscles, and a sharp soreness surged through her body, making her gasp out softly.
Why was she so sore everywhere? Her lower body was numb and aching. It was as if she had gone through something intense.
Could it be… Did she really sleep with that sweet man last night?
“Are you awake?” A deep and magnetic voice rang out.
The door was opened from the outside, and a tall figure appeared at the doorway.
Thalia lifted her head and was utterly shocked. “Tyren? Why are you here?”
She must have blacked out. She only remembered Elowen bringing her out to find some male attendants and vaguely remembered seeing Tyren in the crowd.
Her mind went blank after that. She couldn’t recall a single thing.
“Who else would it be?” Tyren raised an eyebrow after seeing her astonished expression as he walked in, carrying a glass of water and some hangover pills.
