Chapter 14 Kiss Marks
Thalia didn’t dare admit that she had mistaken Tyren for the sweet male attendant. She came to her senses and quickly changed the subject. “When did you come back?”
“Yesterday.” With that, Tyren passed her the water and hangover pills. “Take this. You’ll feel better.”
Thalia didn’t take it. The thought of him disappearing for three years without a word, only to return silently now, irritated her. “Since you came back, why didn’t you contact anyone in the family?”
Tyren rubbed the area between his brows and sighed helplessly. “I only landed in the evening while you were choosing a male attendant. You were drunk and causing trouble. I barely had time to attend to you. How was I supposed to call anyone?”
Thalia felt embarrassed at his words. “So you saw that?”
Tyren flicked her forehead lightly. “Dad will break your legs if he finds out how outrageous you were!”
She crossed her arms before her chest and turned away stubbornly. “You disappeared without a word for three whole years. Whose legs do you think he would want to break?”
Then, she lowered her head and noticed she was wearing nothing but a thin camisole. There were faint kiss marks on her chest. She instantly shot upright from the blanket. “Tyren, what exactly happened last night?”
Tyren’s gaze dropped to the marks as well. His expression grew ambiguous immediately. He had lost control and bit her too hard when she clung to him so desperately last night. He had left proof.
He suddenly leaned in and smiled teasingly. “You don’t remember?”
He was freshly showered, carrying the clean scent of body wash. The warmth of it filled Thalia’s nose, making her tense and
flustered all at once.
She tried hard to remember but couldn’t recall anything.
“Tyren, tell me!” She was anxious, her tone soft with indignation.
Tyren looked at her reddened cheeks. He pressed his fingers against his lips and chuckled. “Nothing happened. You were drunk and talking nonsense. I asked a female hotel staff member to help you get changed.”
His mind was filled with the image of him helping her change clothes as the lies left his mouth.
Her delicate body, where his hands had touched and his kisses had landed, was slender and firm.
Those little pink nipples rose under his touch and turned a more alluring crimson. He couldn’t help but lower his head to bite them for a long time. Her scent still lingered in his mouth until now.
Thalia didn’t notice the dangerous and heated look in his eyes. She breathed out a sigh of relief.
Luckily, it wasn’t Tyren who changed her clothes. Otherwise, she would have died of embarrassment.
However, how did the kiss marks appear? She couldn’t figure it out. But since Tyren said nothing happened, she didn’t press further.
“What did I say last night?” She knew she had a low alcohol tolerance. She would go wild and was capable of doing anything when she was drunk.
Tyren crossed his arms before his chest. His expression was serious as he looked at her. “Are you sure you want to divorce Alden?”
Thalia understood that he knew everything the moment he mentioned it. She lowered her head, and her expression dimmed as she gripped the sheets tightly.

Chapter 14 Kiss Marks
She was completely devoted to Alden back then, and Tyren had repeatedly warned her not to get too deeply involved. She refused to listen to him and even fought with him repeatedly.
Tyren left without a word on her wedding day.
Thalia was furious at that time. But she eventually understood, after marrying into the Crestfall family and enduring Alden’s coldness and Josephine’s constant belittling.
She was too ashamed to face Tyren now at this point.
“Yes.” She nodded after a long silence. “Alden already signed the divorce agreement. Once it takes effect, we’ll have nothing to do with each other.”
Tyren gently brushed aside the strands of hair on her forehead with his fingers. “He’s never deserved you. He isn’t someone worthy of your affection.”
Thalia’s nose stung slightly, and her voice caught in her throat. “I’m sorry. I’ve disappointed you.”
