The concert started, but Annabeth’s pleasant mood had completely gone out the window.
Fortunately, the first act of the concert was Alex, the soprano whom she liked.
The quality of the concert was indeed very high. It was simply beyond comparison.
As Stella listened to the music, she gradually withdrew emotionally from Tristan’s presence. She
actually wasn’t as fine as she appeared to be at all.
Then, she saw the next performer walking on stage wearing a long strapless lilac dress. Her puffy skirt was covered in small diamonds. With her hair tied up, her gorgeous face shone with such radiance that she seemed to glow.
Stella could see Tristan’s profile from the angle at which she was seated. His unfathomable gaze was locked on the woman on stage, looking so focused.
The moment Audrey appeared, the crowd exclaimed in awe, whipping out their phones to take photos of her.
It was no wonder that Tristan and Scott, as well as many of the big shots, would appear at the
concert. They were probably there to support Audrey.
Annabeth’s face darkened. She turned to Stella and asked, “Shall we leave?”
Both of them were seated in the middle, and the seats on either side were all occupied. It was simply inconvenient for them to leave.
“Let’s just wait until the concert is over,” Stella said.
Audrey sat at the piano on stage, placing her slender fingers on the keys, and the orchestra burst into accompaniment.
The music was melodious, truly a feast for the senses. Audrey was a highly skilled performer and was absolutely gifted in music. However, Stella couldn’t keep calm and listen to the performance
as she had done earlier.
Suddenly, Annabeth handed her a pair of Bluetooth earphones and said, “Would you like to cleanse your ears?”
Stella smiled and shook her head lightly before she replied, “You should wear it instead, Anna.”
A few minutes later, the performance ended, and thunderous applause erupted in the music hall. Tristan, who was seated in the front row, was clapping and smiling gently in admiration.
Stella and Annabeth were probably the only ones in the crowd who didn’t move at all.
After Audrey walked off the stage, Tristan said something to Scott before he got up and walked off
in her direction.
Half an hour later, the concert finally ended.

It was after most of the audience had left that Annabeth helped Stella make her exit.
The sky was cloudy, and it was drizzling a little after they walked out of the music hall.
“I have to make Hayden compensate me for the emotional distress,” Annabeth said.
Stella smiled and replied, “He might feel terribly wronged.”
“Even if I will unfairly blame him, that’s still better than sitting through that concert feeling on edge. My good mood is all spoiled,” Annabeth said.
She looked at Stella’s belly before she continued, “I hope this little one isn’t affected by that.”
Stella stifled a laugh and said, “She’s not that perceptive yet.”
Right as they were about to walk out the entrance, Annabeth said, “I’ll go get the umbrella from the car. It’s cold outside, so just wait for me here.”
“Alright,” Stella replied with a nod.
She sat at the bench in the lobby and waited for Annabeth after she left.
One after another, the audience left the music hall as well.
Right then, Stella saw Scott and a group of people walking toward the entrance. Tristan and Audrey weren’t among them. They were probably spending time alone.
Scott also happened to see her as she looked in their direction. Their eyes met for a second before Stella pulled her gaze away and looked outside. Scott quietly moved his gaze away as well. By the time Scott and the others got outside, three cars were already parked in front of them.
