Stella had been waiting in the living room for him.

Tristan’s face was as indifferent as ever after he saw her. He had no intention to talk to her at all,

and he simply pulled his gaze away and walked off.

Suddenly, Stella shouted, “Tristan Somerton!”

Lily and Freya were shocked. Stella had always been cautious and subservient in front of Tristan,

yet she had the guts to shout at him. Had she lost her mind?

Tristan stopped in his tracks and turned his head to look at Stella.

She walked up to him slowly, staring right into his icy gaze.

With her fingers clenched tightly, she held back her panic and asked, “Why did you do this?”

Tristan had no expression on his face, but it was clear that anger was brewing in his eyes. “Stella,

mind your place.”

His indifference made Stella lose control of her emotions, and she shouted, “If you think I’ve offended Audrey and didn’t do as you wish, you can come at me. Why must you target Welleon

Realty?”

This was the first time she lost her temper in front of him.

As she got worked up, tears started to well up in her eyes. However, those tearful eyes didn’t spark any desire in him to pity her at all. Instead, he became even colder and heartless.

think you’re even worth targeting?” he asked.

The meaning behind those words couldn’t be any clearer. He didn’t even take her seriously because she was nothing to him.

Stella felt a punch to her heart upon hearing that. Seeing the deep sorrow on her face, Tristan pulled his gaze away icily and warned, “You’d better behave.”

Then, he went upstairs.

Suddenly, Stella let out a painful scream behind him. He turned around and saw her holding her belly while looking as pale as a ghost.

He couldn’t help but frown.

Lily and Freya didn’t know whether they should approach Stella upon seeing that. They simply glanced at Tristan in secret to check on his reaction.

Stella gritted her teeth, pulled out her phone from her pocket with her trembling hands, and dialed the emergency number.

After she ended the call, she had no strength to glance at Tristan anymore as he stood motionless

in front of her. She carefully turned around to move toward the couch while holding her belly tightly with both hands.

Lily was worried something would happen, so she looked at Tristan and asked, “Mr. Somerton, w- would something go wrong?”

15 minutes later, the sound of ambulance sirens sounded outside the villa.

Lily went to get the door, and Daniel quickly came in along with the medical personnel.

What they saw was Tristan standing idly by while Stella leaned against the couch in pain.

His wife was already suffering so much, yet he just watched her. How heartless a man must he be

to do this?

David had no time to think too much about it anymore. He walked up to Stella in big strides and called out with concern, “Ms. Roberts.”

The medical personnel quickly got the stretcher prepared and carried Stella out of there.

Daniel quickly caught up to them, and he saw Tristan turning around indifferently and heading up the stairs.

Soon, Stella was taken to the hospital. After a series of examinations, they found that the baby was showing signs of premature birth. However, Stella’s condition was already stabilized.

Lily had followed them to the hospital, so she reported the situation to Tristan. He simply hung up

the phone.

The following morning, he received a call from Eloise.

“Tristan, Stella has been taken to the hospital. What happened?” Eloise asked.

Someone from the villa estate saw Stella being taken into the ambulance last night and thought that she was about to give birth. Soon, the word spread, and it even reached Eloise.

Tristan simply replied, “She’s fine now.”
