Annabeth shut her mouth.

“The acquisition of Welleon Realty would definitely be taken care of,” Hayden said. “You don’t have to talk to Tristan.”

He had figured out that Stella must have said something to Tristan that caused her to be suddenly hospitalized.

“That’s right,” Annabeth echoed. “Stelle, don’t worry. Who’s afraid of that bastard? We absolutely can’t lose out to that jerk Tristan.”

Hayden shot her a glance.

Annabeth then pursed her lips and held her tongue.

Stella couldn’t help but chuckle.

At this point, it was no longer an issue about the acquisition of Welleon Realty anymore. It had become a battle between Rover Capital and Aspica Capital.

Right then, there was a knock on the door. Everybody looked over and saw Scott standing there.

Annabeth’s expression turned icy in an instant. “What are you doing here?”

Scott walked in with supplements in his hands. Annabeth stared at him the whole time with her guard up.

His gaze landed on Stella, and he felt relieved to see her safe and sound. “I came uninvited. I hope you don’t mind,” he said.

“You sure know how to give yourself an out,” Annabeth mocked.

Scott glanced at Annabeth, but he didn’t reply to her. Instead, he looked at Hayden and said, “Mr.

> Jenkins, since you’re here, let’s step outside to have a chat.”

Hayden hummed in agreement. Scott put the supplements down on the coffee table and left the hospital room.

More than ten minutes later, Scott left the hospital and drove to Tristan’s company. Hayden, on

the other hand, returned to the room.

“Has he left?” Annabeth asked.

“Yeah,” Hayden replied. “Do you still want to talk to him?”

Annabeth sneered. “Who would want to talk to him? He didn’t take back those nasty things that he

brought over.”

Hayden glanced at the supplements on the coffee table and said, “Enough. Don’t push your actions onto Stelle. They look like they are supplements for Stelle. Ms. Bastion, you can check with the

doctor if Stelle can take them.”

“Alright. I got it,” Layla replied.

“What did you guys talk about?” Annabeth asked.

“He’s going to sign the acquisition agreement with Welleon Realty,” Hayden replied, shocking

Stella.

Annabeth couldn’t believe it either and asked, “Has he lost his mind?”

Stella was confused. “Why?”
