Theodore smiled as he turned Justin down. “Next time. Drinks are on me.”
“Alright then.”
They got into their respective cars and drove out of the parking lot.

The next morning, Stella received a call from Eloise, asking her to come to the Somerton
residence.
She had no choice but to do as she was told.
Jonathan dropped her off at the Somerton residence at around 11:00 am, slowing the car to a stop
in front of the house.
Theodore had spent the night at the Somerton residence. When he learned that Stella was on her way, he purposefully waited for her at the entrance. He approached the car and greeted Jonathan
when he realized that he was with her.
“Go ahead and go inside with Theodore, Stelle.”
“Alright.”
“Why don’t you come in too since you’re already here, Jonathan?” Theodore asked, looking at
Jonathan.
“No need,” Jonathan replied. “Just take Stelle in with you.”
The Somertons had never once invited anyone from the Roberts family to their gatherings. Jonathan knew that he would only be causing trouble if he went inside.
Theodore didn’t insist. “I’ll take good care of Stelle. I’ll send her home later.”
“Okay.”
Just then a Bentley drove toward them and slowly made its way into the residence.
Stella recognized it immediately; it was Tristan’s car.
“Let’s go,” Theodore said.
The two of them entered the Somerton residence together.
Stella’s stomach had grown so big that it was clear she was going to give birth soon. She used one hand to support her waist while she cradled her stomach with her other hand. She also had to
walk extremely slowly.
She didn’t feel too tired since she was chatting with Theodore as they walked through the courtyard toward the main garden. They eventually reached the main hall.

Eloise and Yelena were sitting in the living room. Tristan was nowhere to be seen.
Stella stepped forward and greeted Eloise, “Hello, Mrs. Somerton Senior.”
When her gaze fell on Yelena, she paused briefly before greeting her too. “Hello, Mrs. Somerton.”
Yelena looked at her coldly and didn’t respond.
“Have a seat,” Eloise said.
The caretaker stepped forward and helped Stelle sit on the couch.
Eloise turned to Theodore. “Go look for Tristan, Theo. He should be playing chess with your grandfather in the study. We’ll chat with Stelle.”
Theodore glanced at Stella before saying, “Alright.”
He then left for the study.
He saw Tristan standing in front of the floor-to-ceiling window. Tristan was on the phone, so he waited until finished before approaching.
“Hello, Tristan.”
However, the way Theodore addressed Tristan was a lot more stern than before.
Tristan hummed in response before saying, “Do you have something to say to me?”
Theodore slipped his hands into his pockets, fists tightening inside. He and Tristan were about the same height. They stood in silence like that for a while before Theodore finally said, “Don’t you think you’re crossing the line, Tristan?”
