Stella could tell from Tristan’s tone alone that he was talking to Audrey. She didn’t say a word and

simply looked at him even after he hung up.

Tristan got up to his feet and looked at her. “I’ll have my driver bring the car over to send the two of you back to the villa.”

“No need,” Stella said lightly, rejecting his offer. “I’ll have my driver come over to pick us up.”

Tristan didn’t say anything in response to Stella’s indifference. He left the room, leaving her

rooted to the spot for several seconds.

“Stelle, you should sit down for now,” Layla said.

Stella snapped back to her senses and hummed in response. She then grabbed her phone and

called Daniel.

The medical report had been left behind on the coffee table. Layla picked it up and scanned through it.

The doctor gave them a few detailed reminders before taking his leave.

20 minutes later, Daniel arrived at the hospital.

Stella didn’t return to the villa. She had made plans with Annabeth during Christmas. Annabeth

was going to accompany her to a photo studio while she took some maternity photos.

There wasn’t much time left until her expected delivery date, so she wanted to leave a memento

for herself.

At about 2:00 pm, Stella and Layla arrived at the luxury shopping mall where the photo studio was

located.

Annabeth was already waiting for them at the entrance of the mall. When she spotted Stella, she

stepped forward and locked arms with her, exclaiming, “Let’s go!”

The photoshoot lasted for around two hours. Stella could choose the photos that she wanted on the spot. She didn’t want any special frames, so the edited photos would be delivered to her in about three days.

After they left the photo studio, Stella asked, “What do you want to eat? My treat.”

“I don’t think you should be asking me what I want,” Annabeth replied with a laugh. “You should be asking yourself what you can eat.”

“I’m fine with anything as long as it’s not too greasy,” Stella said.

In the end, they chose a restaurant in the mall that served Asternian cuisine.

It was still too early for dinner, so the three of them walked around the mall together.

Annabeth ended up buying a pair of gold bracelets for the baby. “Let me give these bracelets to your baby in advance.”

Stella stroked her stomach, her eyes shining with gentleness and affection. “Hurry up and thank

Ms. Shore, baby.”

The words had just left her lips when she felt the baby kicking her stomach. “She kicked me. I guess she understood what we were saying,” Stella declared happily.

Annabeth bent down and poked Stella’s stomach lightly. “You’re smart, aren’t you? Your mom went through a lot carrying you around. Make sure to be obedient and listen to her in the future.”
