153. Over the wall

COLT POV

I needed to hear Freya apologize. I don’t think I could have actually told her that though, Alphas

aren’t supposed to get emotional about that kind of crap.

It’s been a week since we took the kids fishing. That day was exactly what we needed as a family,

and it’s also what we needed with our friends. I have to say, other than Levi and Damon, I never

really expected to have many friends in my life. Alpha’s usually have allies, but not generally a

whole lot in the way of friends.

Our kids have not stopped asking us to go fishing again, so we’re planning on going out again. today. So, I woke up early so I could get our gear ready. Freya got the kids up and ready and met

me down in the lounge. I wasn’t sure if we should head to the same spot or not, but I decided that

we would just in case. Though I did prepare the kids the whole way to the pond that they might have caught everything the pond had to offer.

Freya has seemed to be more like herself lately. She’s been initiating more conversations with me, she’s been going out with me every night to make the wall check rounds that I usually do on my own. Sometimes Ash joins me since he’s generally on the wall through the night. Freya is a much better partner to do the walk with than Ash though, nothing against Ash but I can’t throw him against a tree and f**k him whenever I want.

That’s been my favorite part of this, the sex. My goddess, we’ve been f*****g like we used to back when the never-ending haze was ripping through us. The haze hasn’t hit in a while, but these days it’s unpredictable. All I can say though, is if we didn’t have kids or responsibilities, I imagine we wouldn’t be stopping for much other than food lately.

Don’t get me wrong, it’s not just the sex that I love about Freya being back to herself lately. It’s just my favorite part, I also love that she’s more excited to do things with the kids. I’ve been doing my best to make sure that I’m a part of a lot of the things that are being done with the kids too. I’ve decided that with everything going on outside of the wall, and reminding myself that some inside. this wall, like Freya’s brother, don’t have their wife and kids anymore, that they’re more important than doing some of the Alpha duties. I’ve just been designating some of the Alpha duties to Harland.

I know that he’s not Alpha of Big Sky, but he is still an Alpha and I don’t wish to take the title from him. I don’t mind that his pack still calls him Alpha or anything like that, he’s been through enough and I think his pack doesn’t need to have that kind of change on top of everything else. He’s been Alpha through most of the lives of those he still has with him. Most of them aren’t even old enough

to have met his father before him.

I think it’s been making him feel more useful lately too. So, two birds one stone, I guess.

Fishing was much less eventful today than it was last week. Granted, the kids still caught some

fish but, the weather decided to take a turn for the worst. Clouds started rolling in, and within

seconds we could smell the rain coming.

We packed up and headed back in time for us to get poured on the whole way there. By the time

we got to the packhouse the rain had turned into a heavy downpour. Lightening lighting up the sky,

and thunder shaking the house.

I told Freya I would do the wall walk on my own this evening since it was raining, but she insisted she had to join me. Jessi and Levi have been watching the kids while we go on the wall walk every

night. Their son and our kids love playing together.

We didn’t get far on the wall walk before Freya was pulling me off the path. Something about the rain and watching her seduce me while all wet was far beyond a turn on.

I loved watching her hair and her breasts bounce with every thrust as she moaned against the tree. The wetness of her shirt, and the lack of a bra, which may have been strategic on her part, gave me the best view. It’s amazing how I could still feel the wetness of her core with all the rain.

When we finished, Freya started laughing.

“What’s so funny?” I asked.

“That was something I have always wanted to do.” She said, the laugh still trailing her words.

“We’ve had sex against trees in all kinds of weather baby. In fact, I think we’ve probably had more sex against trees than we’ve had in beds.” I smiled at her as we started walking back to the path of

the wall.

“No silly, I mean in this kind of weather. The rain pouring so much that it feels like a shower, the lightning striking behind you lighting you up as you pleasure me, the thunder shaking the tree so I could feel even more vibration. It was intense and it was so hot.” She said, almost making me turn

us back around and take us back to the tree.

Everything she just described made it hard for me to not want it again even just a minute after we

finished.

I probably would have had we not heard some commotion going on at the wall aways down from

where we were.

We rushed to the part of the wall where we were hearing it, greeted by Ash.

“Alpha, it appears we have some visitors. As of right now, we can’t tell who they are. They’re not being aggressive though.” He told me right away.

“They’re not being aggressive? You mean, they’re not attacking the wall at all?” Freya asked,

clarifying.

“Correct Luna. They are just back in the trees, watching. The guards saw them and began preparing as they normally would. Nothing has happened though; they’re still just watching.” Ash said, the tone in his voice says that he’s a little confused, maybe even a little concerned.

Freya looked over at me, “What if it’s another pack? Like my dad?” She asked me.

I thought for a second, “It is possible I guess, but I have no clue who would be trying to make it

here.”

“Let’s find out.” Freya said as she walked over to the wall.

There’s no way out of the wall going this way, there’s also no way in going through this way. Anyone wanting in or out would have to go over, but then we have sharp stakes on the other side waiting for someone to do something like that.

Freya, on the other hand, figured another way out. She climbed a tree and jumped down on the other side of the wall before I had any idea what she was doing. When she jumped over, I lost it.
