COLT POV

I can’t believe she’s doing this.

“I’m not going to regret this Colt.” she giggled, “now show me that you were made for me.” she pulled me in for a kiss and there’s no way I’m disappointing her.

I knew this would hurt at first for her, so I went slow I guided my member in. She gasped.

“Breathe and relax with me Freya, it will begin to feel good in a moment.” When she relaxed I went until I was all the way in. I paused for a moment to let her get used to the stretching. I slowly backed out and went in again. Her breathing turned into moans and I kept going.

Gradually increasing my pace I fought to not explode. She felt perfect! She’s tight and fits me like a glove. She was made for me.

“That was our mate bond linking us together. I expect when you mark me and we let our wolves run together we’ll feel it again.” s**t Max has been begging me to let him go on a run with Stella. I kept telling him he had to wait for Freya to be ready. I really wasn’t expecting her to be ready yet.

“We should do that soon, Stella has been asking about it. Just, not tonight.” she giggled, “I’m much too exhausted tonight.”

Best night of my life right here. We went and took a shower together. Once we were cleaned up we got in the bed. I noticed she had her own bedding she put on the bed in her hut, but she didn’t bring.

She snuggled right up to me. We laid there silently for a while before I heard her quiet voice.

“You’ll be okay fighting Aiden, right?” she asked, I could sense her worry. That was new, this mate bond would take some getting used to, but not in a bad way.

“Yes little wolf. I’ll be just fine. This won’t be our first time in the ring together.” I just realized she’s never seen me fight before.

“I’m even stronger than I was earlier today so there are no concerns I have about my battle with him.” I snuggled down into her shoulder giving it a light kiss.

“A-are you going to kill him?” her concern for him made me a little upset.

“Why would you care if I did?” I maybe shouldn’t have asked that way, but his attention to her has caused me quite a bit of anger.

“I guess the idea that people die in these games just doesn’t sit right with me. In actual battle, sure.

I can understand that, but dying because of a game to show who’s stronger doesn’t seem right.” she sighed, “Just, don’t die Colt.”

I rolled her on her back so I could look at her. “Freya I won’t die, he can’t kill me. He couldn’t have before tonight but after tonight…” My thumb grazed over my mark on the base of her neck, “There’s no way anyone here could.”

I sighed, “I do not wish to kill anyone when I enter that ring. I have, I’m sure youve heard and I hated it. I used to feel the way you do about it, part of me still does but this isn’t just a game.” I ran my fingers through my hair trying to figure out the best way to put this.

“The games aren’t just a d**k measuring contest for us, this is about strength. I know to everyone it seems like fun and games most days, but if you win your battles the chances of any pack attacking your pack dwindle because they know they can’t win.”

She responded, “Can’t beat the pack if you can’t beat the alpha?”

I smiled at her, goddess she’s so beautiful and perfect.

“Exactly.”

She kissed me then rolled back over. She fell asleep in my arms, I wanted this since she got here. My father said when he met my mother he knew it was love at first sight. He didn’t need to know anything about her, he just knew she was his entire world.

I used to think he was crazy, but I understand now. d kill for this woman. No, it’s more than that, I’d die for this woman, and I just met her a few days ago. I felt it the second she came up out of the water her first day here.

“I love you, Freya.” I whispered to my beautiful sleeping mate.
