FREYA POV
Now we know we’re not alone out here on this little mission to get to the witch’s cabin. We’re going to shift and run the rest of the way, probably the safest for us to travel at night.
I’m not sure why, but watching my mate kill that rogue so easily was really exciting. From the look on his face, he enjoyed watching Stella too.
We grabbed the rest of our stuff, put it in the bag I brought and shifted back to our wolves. Colt grabbed the bag with his teeth and we ran together.
We should have traveled in wolf form the whole way, but I think we all need to just enjoy the company a little bit. The run was nice, the warm summer night breeze felt incredible.
We got there fairly quickly, we shifted back a good distance from the cabin and put our clothes on. When we were all ready we headed to the cabin, slowly. We had to be careful, witches don’t trust anyone so there’s probably some sort of security.
The cabin looked abandoned, and not just since she died but it looks like no one has been here for years. Walking up to the front door Colt noticed some sort of trip wire set up across the main walk path. We walked around until we found a spot that was safe to cross.
The door appeared rigged with something, not explosives but probably some sort of spell or potion. We split up to look around, and then it hit. This damn haze was going to be the death of me!
I looked over at Colt and he knew it too. It hit hard and strong. Within seconds I was in pain, needing release. He touched my arm and instantly sparks went off all over my body.
“Let’s go over to the trees, get away from any possible traps.” he whispered to me with that need in his voice.
We barely made it to the tree line when he grabbed me and pushed me against a tree. The bark stung a little, but it added to my pleasure. He picked me up so I could wrap my legs around him.
He kissed me passionately, his tongue tasted like sweet caramel. His smell and his taste drive me wild. I ran my hands through his hair. I could feel his bulge pressing through his pants against my bare core. I rubbed against it, trying to give my body some feeling of satisfaction.
Before I knew it I was reaching down to pull him free, guiding his c**k into me. A light growl escaped him as I moaned, closing my eyes and letting my head fall back against the tree.
I could feel the bark digging into my back as I bucked my hips into his thrusting motion but the pain felt so good. I felt him kissing my chest and slowly moving up to my neck. He kissed and licked my mark, it is so sensitive to his touch that it started bringing me close within seconds.
He sunk his teeth into the same spot, marking me again. The pleasure, the power, the emotion, it was all so much it drove me into ecstasy. My walls clenched down around him as I felt him unload deep inside me.
He stayed right there riding out the waves of the orgasm with me until the haze faded away. He held his forehead against mine breathing heavily. He brought one of his hands up and cupped my cheek.
“I wish I could make you feel the way I do.” he whispered.
“What do you mean?” I breathed back at him.
“This bond, you can feel certain things but it doesn’t always come clear, not yet anyways.” his breathing started slowing down, but he hasn’t pulled out of me yet. “I wish you felt the same way with me as I do with you.” he kissed me and gently pulled from inside me and set me back on the ground.
“Maybe one day you’ll feel it too.” he grabbed my hand and led me back to the cabin.
angry that Jessi told me to take time to calm down from everything. She said that I should be he lied to me, but that I should also look at the way he’s been since we found out we’re mated.
Levi told her that he’s been planning my Luna ceremony already. We haven’t even started planning our wedding yet. It’s customary for the alpha to plan his Luna’s ceremony, it is a gesture of love and acknowledgement of sharing the power the alpha holds.
I told her about my concerns of him just wanting me for the power, but she said that the way he looks at me or the way he looks when he talks about me says something different. She thinks I’m worrying too much and I just need to talk to him.
Though she did make sure to remind me that he lied and I can’t let that slide.
Levi motioned for us to follow him behind the cabin, he found a window for us to go through. I’m glad he pulled me out of my thoughts and back into the mission at hand.
When we got in, the place was freezing. There was frost all over the place, in the middle of summer time. It had to be a spell of some kind.
The oracle was right, there were so many books and scrolls all over the place. We split up to try to narrow down what we should take back with us.
In the area I was in, there were more scrolls than books. Each one was hand written, the hand writing was very chicken scratchy.
There were scrolls that had stories in them about vampires, werewolves, fairies, and witches. Some scrolls had recipes for potions. Some scrolls had spells.
One scroll really stood out to me, it looked like it was written in blood and it was in a different language, but there was a drawing of a wolf and a moon. I figured we should take that.
I found a few others that looked like they might be of use, and a book she had about werewolves. I walked over to Colt’s section. He was pretty well through his section and had a couple of books, one looked like it had an image of a human and a wolf in it, the other looked older than anything else in his section.
Jessi and Levi came to us with a few things from their section. It was much too cold to stay here so we got out through the window and decided to start walking back.
With everything we grabbed, there was no way we were going to be able to shift and run home. Levi mentioned camping out but Jessi and I both said we should just keep going. Trying to sleep out here wasn’t going to happen.
