The Big Sky Alpha novel Chapter 41

I grabbed some jerky, bread, huckleberry jam, a small fruit bowl and some water and we took it all up to our room.

If I’m being honest, my body feels so weak right now that I’m not really sure I can handle food, but I’m going to try so I have the energy to help him get back to himself. I can rest more later.

I downed some water and a slice of jammed bread and a piece of jerky. I didn’t feel too much better, but I wasn’t throwing it up so I’ll take it.

“Are you okay? How are you doing now that you’re awake?” it came to my attention that we’ve not really gotten to talk since I woke.

“I’m okay, just a little weak feeling. I don’t entirely feel like my normal self yet.” I took another bite of the jerky.

“I was scared I lost you already. I hated that you were laying there looking so lifeless and it was all because of me.” he scooted his chair closer to mine. “I will never be able to apologize enough for all this Freya, but I don’t intend to stop trying.”

I just looked at him, smiling. Since I woke up I’ve thought about what the goddess said at length. We will be magic together, he will go to lengths much like he just did and I will be right there with him ruling this pack into a new age. I’m feeling very optimistic about our future.

“Why are you looking at me like that?” he asked. I realized I’ve just been sitting here staring at him.

My body is feeling better, in fact my body is feeling like I want him. I don’t understand this mate bond.

“I met the goddess when I was out.” I giggled, “I dreamed about her but I don’t really think it was a dream.”

He looked at me with surprise, “So is it true?” he asked.

“What’s true?” I cocked my head slightly in confusion.

“Before I locked myself up, the oracle told me that you have special abilities that no one has known about for ages, but the goddess told the Infinity Coven.” he put his hand softly on my leg, his body still shaking.

He looked at me with such intensity, “I don’t love you for your power Freya, I know that might be hard to believe right now after everything, but since I’ve met you I’ve wanted nothing more than just to be with you and feel the happiness you bring to me. I just hope happiness will come to you too.”

I jumped into his lap, we put on some clothes when we left the dungeon but it didn’t take long for us to get those off. I was overcome with passion and longing for the man who’s already taken me several times today. I still wanted more.

As I straddled him on the chair naked he grabbed me by my hips and lifted me lightly so I could stand.

“Bed.” is all he said, in his incredibly sexy, husky deep and dark voice. He was letting his body take control.

My body is still weak so bed sounded great to me. I got to the bed and turned, lowering myself and scooting back while I looked at this amazing man in front of me.

His member was at full attention, and he looked so hungry. I opened my legs inviting him in and he wasted no time putting himself between them, crashing his lips to mine as he entered.

I moaned into his mouth as his breath hitched. He broke the kiss and watched me as he picked up his pace. One hand supported him over me and the other was holding my hips.

His eyes glow every time he’s intimate with me. I don’t know what it is, but they draw me in every time.

His thrusts became more intense and my body started shaking, my walls closing around him. He groaned as he unloaded deep inside me and my juices flowed all around him.

He hung his head down for a moment then looked up at me, “I love you Freya. Please never leave.” his eyes began to dim and I could feel his passion.

“I was made for you, and you were made for me. I will bring out the best in you if you let me and you will bring out the best Luna in me.” I used some of her words, they were perfect. I needed him to know I’m not going anywhere.

He sat up quickly and sat beside me, “Where did you hear that?”

“The goddess.” I sat up and shyly giggled, “I asked her why she chose us together.”

He looked at me and smiled. “She also, I think, tried to warn me what you were doing, locking yourself up because she said I’ll find out some of the lengths you’ll go to for me.” I kissed him, and I could feel that his body wasn’t shaking anymore.

“How are you feeling?” I asked.

He laughed, “Like a warm shower would possibly be the best thing in the world for us right now after the last few days.” he held his hand out and I placed mine in it.

The shower was magical. We sat in the shower together, washing each other and I don’t really know how to explain it, but it felt like everything we’d been through in the past few days literally washed off of us.

While we were dressing, there was a knock at the door. We quickly finished putting clothes on and he answered the door to find the oracle standing there, out of breath like he’d just ran here.

I looked at Colt and he just grabbed Eunice and sat him at our table, giving him a cup of water. We sat there waiting for him to catch his breath.

He pointed at a scroll he had in his hand. “I went to the dungeon looking for you.” he said, breathing like he’s run a marathon.” I ran back here once I realized you weren’t there.”

I sat at the table next to him, “Eunice, what’s going on?”

He smiled and looked at us both, “I found it! I know how to fix your haze!”
