The Big Sky Alpha novel Chapter 56

COLT POV

We made it all the way to our bedroom door when Freya turned to me and said, ‘Don’t ask me how I know, but the haze is about to hit.” she began unbuttoning my jeans and didn’t even give me time to get to the bed before she started stroking me.

I made it to the chair I was just sitting in. The moment I sat down she sat on top of me instantly sliding into her. Goddess, she felt like magic. Since we completed our mate bond it feels like little sparks on my skin everywhere she touches, but it’s not painful it’s soft and comforting.

Inside her though, it feels like my c**k is being vibrated inside of her and it feels so f*****g good! Watching her bounce on top of me is my favorite sight. I’m really glad these chairs are strong, we’ve been putting them to the test lately.

She was right, as soon as we both got close the haze kicked in. I’m not sure how she’s doing this, but she’s sensing when it’s going to happen.

Her walls started clenching around my member and feeling her climax brought me over the edge. We sat there for a moment before she climbed off me.

“How are you sensing it?” I asked, very curious. “Is it hitting you sooner than it is me or can you just tell when it’s about to hit you?”

“It’s like I can feel my body getting ready for it to hit. It’s only recent that I can feel it coming.” she answered.

“I wonder if it’s because you’re pregnant. I can’t say any woman has encountered this type of haze while pregnant, that’s still alive anyways.” I would say it’s either that or her abilities.

As we walked to her parents she filled me in on everything the goddess said. Sounds like we are ready to work on making this happen.

I hate that we’re keeping our baby a secret. I really just want to go around telling everyone. Knowing there’s probably more than one in there makes me so much more excited. I can’t wait to meet them.

We haven’t been going to the games lately, we’re in the last week and a half. Tomorrow Levi is supposed to battle and I really don’t want to miss that so I’m hoping we can get everything ready to go and then head out, be there by nightfall and heading back by morning.

I’m supposed to battle again, and I know usually I would be happy about it and ready to take on whoever it is, but right now I just want to get it over with so all these other wolves will leave and we can be together in our pack.

I want to start living life the way we live it in Big Sky without the constant partying. I haven’t even shown her where the wild horses run, it’s a wonderous sight. It’s funny how a month long party can be the highlight of the year one year and then the next it’s the last thing you want to do.

Bring mated changes you. Especially when it’s fated.

Walking into her parent’s hut I quickly realized how serious Misty took finding the witches. She has a whole wall of maps and pages taken from papers, scrolls, books, other pages with her writing of things she found or heard.

“Wow Misty, this is impressive.” I couldn’t help but utter as I walked around it looking at everything.

“So where is she mom?” I heard Freya ask. Freya filled her mom in on what the goddess said, leaving out the part about being pregnant.

Seeing her dad and looking him straight in the eye and knowing we were keeping something so big from them was really difficult.

If he were just any other alpha or if it was probably anything else it might not have felt so horrible, but I know they’re going to be thrilled about this so it makes it difficult to not tell them.

I promised Freya though, and I have to keep my promises to her.

“She’s in Kalispell, it’s a rather large city, as far as Montana is concerned anyways. She is in a rather secluded part right along the outskirts though.” Misty answered.

“Not bad, Kalispell is about 100 miles out. In wolf form we can probably make it to the rigs at the bottom of the mountain here and drive out there all in about two hours.” Thankfully the cars at the bottom of the mountain are fully gassed up at all times in case of emergency.

“Let’s go get Eunice and the ingredients to the spell then.” Freya said as she turned to walk out the door.

Eunice doesn’t have a wolf so he rode on Max’s back and he put the bag with all the ingredients on Stella’s back. We’re not going at night so I figure this should be safer than last time, now that I know she’s pregnant there’s no way in hell I’m letting any rogues near my mate.

She can take them, sure. Especially with her new abilities she’s learned since then, but what kind of a father or husband would I be if I put any of them at risk. She wouldn’t even be coming on this trip if her blood wasn’t an ingredient.

When we got to the cars it was about noon, Freya of course was hungry and she happened to find a bag of chips someone left in the car. Of course all I could think of was how dumb it was for someone to leave food in the car, bears have destroyed vehicles for less.

It didn’t take long to get to Kalispell. I opted for Eunice to drive since he wouldn’t be affected by the haze if it hit during the drive. I could only imagine how the car ride would go with a sex crazed uncontrollable wolf at the wheel.

Just as we entered the city limits we went down a creepy dirt driveway. It’s mid-day and it’s creepy, I can only imagine how creepy it must be at night.

The witch’s house is probably what you would expect a witch’s house to look like. Overgrown grass, trees everywhere, vines crawling up the side of the house, rickety old windows and door. There’s a greenhouse off to the side in the back, I imagine herbs are grown there.

As we got out of the car the door opened and a young girl walked out. Very beautiful blonde woman wearing jeans and a white T-shirt. Nothing about her appearance said witch to me.

“I’ve been waiting for you, Freya I’m assuming?” she said as she eyed Freya.

“Yes, and I brought everything the goddess said we’d need.” Freya said back.

“Come on in, we have things to discuss.” she motioned as she turned to go in. She stopped in her tracks and turned back to us, “Don’t try anything in here. I agreed to help you, but you’re still wolves so I’ve spelled my home. You can’t shift here.” she turned to walk inside again.

We all looked at each other and shrugged, we walked in after her.

“Thank you for agreeing to help us.” Misty said as she sat down at the table in front of the witch.

“What happened to the wolf that killed my mother?” she said.

S**t, I forgot she was that witch’s daughter.

“I’ve been tasked with her punishment. As of right now she’s secluded in a cell. I haven’t decided on her final punishment yet. I figured once the spell is cast then I can focus more on what to do with her.” Freya answered.

Belladonna looked at Freya with a concerning look.

“Can I have her?” she asked.

Freya thought for a moment, “What would you do with her?”

“Well, kill her of course.” she responded.
