COLT POV
Now that the pack knows, they’re telling to avoid the weapons. We got so spoiled the past couple of times having Freya shielding us, now we have to actually avoid weapons.
As much as it sucks, I reminded myself how blessed I’ve been with the woman the goddess has chosen for me.
“Colt I’m here!” I heard Freya in my head. I stopped fighting a moment to see if I could feel her. I looked around and found the house.
“I know where you are, we’re coming. We’re having a harder time with these poisoned weapons.” I told her. I linked the pack, “The house is over there, let’s get as many of us inside as possible! Less likely to be impacted by their poison!”
Everyone looked toward me then to the house I was pointing to. They all took off for the house. It was a little thing, not many of us are making it in there but we’ll surely be able to get her out.
This is ridiculous, we’re the oldest bloodline alive and we’re fleeing because of some damn weapons? I stopped going toward the house, I’m not thinking like the alpha, I’m thinking like a husband and father just wanting his family. I can’t do that.
“Everyone stop, this is not the Big Sky way. Everyone fight. Slaughter these damn crow that came into our pack, drugged and kidnapped our Luna, and are now trying to drug us just because their lunatic chief came up with some ass backwards story to justify coming after us! Do what you’re good at warriors!” I said to them all.
They all stopped and nodded. They turned and grabbed the enemy, shifted, and howled! The crazy beasts, these humans have greatly underestimated, went from avoiding weapons to killing anyone unlucky enough to try and stop them.
While they fought I went to the house. I have no idea who’s here other than Freya, but whoever it is won’t be there long.
I ripped the door off its hinges, and I entered. F**k this place is bright. I didn’t notice anyone, I walked around trying to figure out this room without windows she’d be held in.
“Freya yell, I need to know where you are.” I linked to her.
I heard her howl, she was below me. I found stairs and I walked down. I opened a couple of doors and found nothing. There was one door left clearly it had to be that door.
I threw the door open and stepped in. The cage she was in was large and stood out immediately. The other thing that stood out was the man standing against her cage.
Tiny little f****r, he didn’t even go up to my shoulders. I’m a large man I guess, but I’m thinking even for a human he’s got to be small. Red tattoos all over.
I looked at Freya who was staring down at him with a very salty grin.
“This is where you find out how horrible you f****d up little man.” She said very calmly, not hiding the joy she got out of insulting his stature.
She looked over at me, just having her eyes meet mine for a split second is all I needed. I could feel her rage toward this man, I could feel that she wanted him destroyed. What kind of husband would I be if I didn’t comply.
I looked down at this little man, “You chief?” I growled. He visibly gulped. He actually gulped. “Uh y-yeah.” The idea that were some primitive disgraceful folks had given them this idea that we’re less than them.
“You damned humans, when will you get it through your heads that you’re not some special species? We all live on this planet, some species have been around much longer than you pathetic creatures!” I said as I walked to him. I grabbed his little vest and picked him up by it, lifting him completely off the ground. I imagine it felt like he was flying since he’s so small.
“How are you chief? Others out there are much larger than you.” I asked, legitimately confused by this.
“I’m umm smart.” He said.
I laughed. “So smart you think we took your land? So smart you snuck onto a werewolf pack ground and kidnapped the f*****g Luna? So smart you think that if you kill me then my pack will just give up everything to you?” Freya giggled as I laughed.
“You’re the biggest fool I think I’ve met. And trust me, I’ve met some fools.” I said to him.
“What are you going to do to me?” He asked, sounding like he really wanted to cry right now.
I glanced behind him to my Freya, holding her stomach. She’s weak, I can feel it. He drugged her with something so deadly to us when she’s so pregnant.
“You broke into my pack. You kidnapped my pregnant wife. You drugged my pregnant wife. You put her and my children in danger. Your people are out there shooting and drugging my warriors.” I dropped him.
I let a tiny smirk break through as I thought of how scary that must have been for him, really I just wanted to full on laugh out loud.
“Freya, I will let you decide. Do I let him live and keep him prisoner or do I rip him apart limb by limb?” I asked her.
Without any hesitation, “Make him suffer, baby kill him!” She said.
F**k I love this woman. “As you wish, Freya.” I smiled at her. Then I turned down to tiny man here, my smile quickly faded.
He whimpered as I picked him up. I tore off his vest and used it to shield my hands from the bane covered bars. I ripped two bars off and stabbed them through each shoulder then tied him to the cage with them.
I busted the cage open letting Freya out. She stood behind me as I used Max’s claws to rip his chest open. I stood back with her, holding her in my arms while we sat there and watched him choke on his own blood and slowly bleed to death.
“We have women and children up here and warriors that surrendered. How do you want us to proceed? And is Freya okay?” Levi linked me. I loved having him back with me.
“She’s ok we’re heading up now.” I said back.
Now that this moron is dead I will leave the rest be. They’ll need a better chief now.
