‘Bob?‘ Leeanne’s expression changed. ‘Why is it him again? Wait, it’s him again? That’s great!‘ Leeanne thought.
She quickly put away her torch and stepped back, sizing up the old goat. Bob’s treasure chest is really something, but if she took it, she would definitely end up being hunted down. Besides, no way she could defeat Bob in a fight.
‘Does the old goat even know what it’s getting me into? Is it just setting me up to grab the treasure so it can bail and leave me facing Bob’s fury alone?
‘No, that’s not what it is,‘ Leeanne thought, quietly shaking her head.
Bob was insanely quick when it came to hunting people down. She might barely get her hands on the treasure before Bob caught up, not even having a chance to share the spoils.
Seeing Leeanne not moving, but just staring at him, the old goat grew anxious. “Why aren’t you going in? There’s real treasure inside, I swear!”
Leeanne fixed her gaze on the old goat. “How do you know that? Have you actually been in there?”
The old goat nodded. “Yeah, I went in once and saw a treasure chest from afar, but a treasure of that level is bound to have some monster guarding it. I stood no chance, so I got out of there quickly.”
Leeanne pressed, “So, what level of treasure are we talking about here?”
The old goat replied, “It’s a silver treasure chest; it must be a treasure.”
Leeanne frowned, asking, “Even if there’s treasure inside, it might not even be useful for you. Why do you want this treasure chest so badly?”
‘What if it’s just some armor or a blueprint? What good would that do to the old goat?‘ Leeanne thought.
The old goat’s eyes darted away, looking a bit shifty. ‘Is it feeling guilty?‘ Leeanne’s anger flared. “Are you lying to me again?”
Seeing Leeanne get angry, the old goat panicked and blurted out, “I’m not lying, really! It’s just… I know the treasure in there will definitely be useful to me. I’ve been around for over three hundred years, picked up all kinds of weird knowledge along the way.
Leeanne fixed her eyes on him. “Like what?”
The old goat let out a sigh. “I’m really not lying this time, but okay, I might’ve skipped something. The treasure chest is silver, and it’s got several animals carved on it…”
Leeanne cut him off, growing impatient. “Get to the point, hurry up.”
The old goat quickly explained, “The animals carved on it mean whatever’s inside is useful for creatures like me.”
Leeanne fell silent. The old goat panicked. “Everything I’ve said is true! With the Unicorn Divine Sheep around. I’m naturally intimidated. I might hide some things, but I wouldn’t dare lie.”
“This old fart is probably not lying,’ Leeanne thought. Even if he was, Leeanne was determined to get her hands on that treasure chest. ‘After all, it’s Bob’s treasure chest!‘ she thought.
Previously, she cracked open Bob’s treasure chest, and she got a pet pouch and the attribute–boosting potion. Those were all great items, truly excellent ones. No way she would let a chance like that slip by.

But previously, she only managed to shake off Bob using a Summon Token and a Teleport Card. ‘How do I escape this time?‘ she thought. With no team members nearby, the Summoning Card is basically useless. If only I had a Teleport Card…
Seeing Leeanne frowning and staying silent for so long, the old goat panicked. “There’s really good treasure in there! You need to make up your mind, quick!”
Leeanne said slowly, “If we grab the treasure, a dwarf with insane strength will pop up right away. He’ll come after us, and I don’t stand a chance against him. Nor can I run faster.”
The old goat was stunned. Leeanne pulled up the trading hall. She did a quick search, and two pieces of information about Teleport Cards popped up.
One of them read: [Teleport Card: Looking to trade for a Rare–grade weapon blueprint. Owner: XXX (Anonymous).]
Leeanne frowned. ‘This is way too much to ask. Most players don’t even have Advanced–grade weapon blueprints, let alone Rare–grade,‘ she thought.
She did have a Rare–grade weapon herself, one that had been upgraded through Lucky Streak. Regular players just didn’t have Rare–grade blueprints, so this anonymous Teleport Card seller was clearly just messing around.
In the comments section below, tons of people had left messages. None of them had Rare–grade blueprints, so they were all offering their best treasures instead. However, the seller didn’t reply to anyone.
Leeanne had no choice but to check out the other Teleport Card information.
[Teleport Card: Exchange for an item with +5 random attribute.]
[Owner: Vanessa Dorsey.]
“Vanessa? Isn’t she the one who scammed Robin?‘ Leeanne thought. ‘She sold a pretty sketchy pet contract back then. She’s kind of sneaky.
After thinking it over, Leeanne asked in the Assault Squad chat. [Does Anyone know about Teleport Cards?]
Danelle: [Yeah, Vanessa’s been auctioning one in the chat for over an hour now.]
Rodger: [Be careful. Something’s wrong with Vanessa.]
Danelle: [Robin never learns his lesson. He was scammed once, and he’s still bidding on her stuff.]
Rodger: [He has no choice. The rules have changed. It’s late now, and he’s still stuck on the island. Moreover, he’s facing some dangers. If he doesn’t get a Teleport Card, he might not make it back.]
Leeanne: [Really?] She immediately switched over to the Local Chat, and sure enough, it was buzzing with activity.
Vanessa: [I’m looking for an item with +5 to a random attribute, but none of you have one. So I put it up for auction, the highest bidder gets it.J
Robin: [Vanessa, is that Teleport Card actually legit?]
Vanessa: [If you don’t trust me, then just don’t bid!]
Felipe: [Robin, are you taking it or not? If you don’t want it, I’m grabbing it!]
Vanessa: [Yep, Robin. You’ve got three minutes. If you don’t bid again, Felipe gets it.)

Robin gritted his teeth. [Fine, I’ll bid. I’m offering a +3 Agility Deerhide Boots blueprint, and a +2 Strength necklace on top of that.]
Vanessa: [That barely meets my requirements. Robin, going once… Robin, going twice…]
Leeanne spoke up immediately. [I want the Teleport Card.]
Vanessa: [Okay.]
Robin, getting anxious, said: [Vanessa, deal.]
Vanessa: [Hold up, someone else just bid. Leeanne, what are you offering?]
This time, Leeanne was extra cautious. [Show me the Teleport Card first.]
Vanessa: [Teleport Card: After use, you’ll be randomly teleported somewhere 2 to 60 miles. Uses remaining: 0/2.]
Leeanne nodded quietly. ‘Not bad; two teleports left. It’s a real Teleport Card,‘ she thought.
The distance of the Teleport Card was random, but with Lady Luck, no way she would end up just teleporting 2 miles away. She figured even if Bob was lightning fast, two teleports would leave him eating her dust for a while.
No way I’m letting this Teleport Card slip away, she thought.
So she jumped in with her bid. [Two random +1 attribute cherry and a +3 Agility Deerhide Boots.]
Her bid easily outclassed Robin’s. Robin was freaking out. He and his loyal buddy, Max, were stranded on a deserted island, urrounded by wolves. They didn’t dare move an inch, just hoping that the Teleport Card would be their lifeline.
He had been bidding for half an hour, finally outlasting most of the other bidders. Just when he thought victory was in sight, Leeanne suddenly jumped in. He was about to snap. And honestly, he was terrified he couldn’t outbid Leeanne.
Max saw what was happening and immediately started cursing up a storm, but Robin quickly clapped a hand over his nouth. Right now, he really didn’t want to offend Leeanne.
Barely holding back his frustration, Robin typed in the Local Chat. [Leeanne, I really need that Teleport Card right now. Can You let me have it? I’ll owe you big time if you do.]
eeanne: [I need it just as much as you do. Sorry.]
Robin frowned. He didn’t want to reveal his predicament in the chat, so he sent Leeanne a private message. [Leeanne, I’m
eally on the edge here. I desperately need that Teleport Card. Can you let me have it? If you do, I’ll split half of the treasure found on the island with you when I get back.J
Leeanne didn’t see the private message, so she didn’t reply. But actually, even if she had seen it, she wouldn’t have agreed
inyway.
Vanessa said cheerfully: [Leeanne’s got the highest bid so far. Anyone else want to jump in?]
Unable to get a reply from Leeanne for a long time, Robin felt both ashamed and furious. Afraid that Leeanne would bid away the Teleport Card, he blurted out: [One & Agility Deerhide Boots blueprint, one 2 Strength necklace, and one t Strength Power Spirit Fruit.]
Vanessa: [Sorry, your bid still can’t beat Leeanne’s.]
Vanessa: [Leeanne, going once…]
