Chapter 130
Robin was panicked. [Then I’ll throw in an Advanced weapon blueprint!]
Vanessa paused for a moment. [Sorry, that’s still not enough to beat Leeanne…]

Robin snapped: [Vanessa, are you messing with me? Advanced weapon blueprints are extremely rare! Isn’t that worth more than just two cherries?]
On the Chat, others felt the same. Advanced weapon blueprints were super rare. They were the best weapons one could get right now. Although +2 attributes mattered, weapons were just as important, not to mention the Power Spirit Fruit.
Most people thought Robin’s offer was actually better than Leeanne’s. But Vanessa wouldn’t budge. [Sorry, Robin. I still prefer Leeanne’s stuff.]
Robin’s face turned livid with anger. Right now, he and Max were huddled in a corner, barely daring to breathe as they watched a pack of wolves wandering not far away.
Most of those wolves were Tier 2 or Tier 3, and they were in a group. If they tried to leave, they would be eaten alive. This was a wolf den, and if they stayed any longer, they would be exposed easily.
Max clutched a locked treasure chest and asked Robin, “Robin, Vanessa is doing this on purpose. She’s so damn annoying. I swear I’ll get her back for this someday. And Leeanne? She’s not budging either?”
Robin’s face was grim. “She’s ignoring me!”
Mada gritted his teeth. “Robins, if this keeps up, I’m gonna look for a chance to take Leeanne out!”
Robin frowned. “Leeanne’s really popular in District 33. Don’t mess with her for now. We’re already at odds with Enrique. We can’t afford to make another enemy.”
He glanced at the locked treasure chest and told Max, “Keep your eyes glued to the trading hall. Hurry up and buy a key so we can crack this chest open and see what kind of treasure’s inside.”
They had braved this whole wolf den just for this treasure chest. The contents had to be something epic. Max suddenly cried out, “Robin, I got the key!“Mada suddenly cried out, “Boss, I got the key!”
Robin’s eyes sparkled. “Quick, open the chest! No, wait; I’m feeling lucky today. Let me do it. You stall Vanessa.”
Max immediately typed in Local Chat. [Vanessa, hold on. We’re still making offers.]
Robin pressed his palms together, muttered a quick prayer, then eagerly popped open the treasure chest.
Vanessa lost her patience. [Alright, Leeanne’s got the highest bid. 1…J
“Hold on!” Robin yelled. ‘I’m not done yet! I’m throwing in another–When Robin saw what he had just scored, his eyes gleamed with excitement and greed Robin Shillingford
Max blurted out, “Robin, what did you get?”
Robin shot the info straight over to Max, and Mada cheered, “Robin, we totally hit the jackpot!”
He was too excited that his voice got way too loud, and the wolves nearby instantly perked up, then started rushing right toward them.
The two backed away in fear, watching the wolves close in. Robin looked pale as a ghost. Max looked devastated. “Robin, we

can’t trade this away! It’s a huge loss!”
Robin was even more reluctant, but he kept his cool and gritted his teeth. “If we don’t trade, we might end up dead here.” He had no choice but to grit his teeth and give it up.
Vanessa paused for a bit, and when Robin and Mada stayed silent, she went on: [Alright, the Teleportation Card is going to Leeanne…]
Robin jumped in, [Wait, I’m still bidding. I’m offering an Advanced Pet Contract.]
Robin explained: [This Advanced Pet Contract comes with zero conditions, no restrictions at all. If you find a suitable pet, you can instantly bond with it.]
He even showed off the contract’s info for everyone to check out. Everyone started buzzing in the chat after seeing it.
[Robin’s really putting everything on the line for that Teleportation Card, even offering something this valuable!]
[He must be facing a life–threatening situation. Otherwise, who’d give up such a good item?]
[Robin’s insanely lucky!]
[I’m from District 34, and I can vouch for him. Robin’s got the craziest luck when it comes to opening chests. That’s why he’s the boss of our district.]
Vanessa gazed at the Advanced Pet Contract, her heart racing with excitement. She was itching to make the deal with Robin immediately, but Enrique had just instructed her to hand the Teleportation Card over to Leeanne.
That was why she had been siding with Leeanne during the last two rounds of bidding. But the Advanced Pet Contract was way too valuable. She needed to consult Enrique again.
Leeanne frowned slightly when she saw Robin’s bid. ‘Robin’s really pulling out all the stops. He’s determined to get it no natter what, but I really need it too, Leeanne thought to herself.
Previously, when she raided Bob’s treasure, she obtained a +3 attribute Elixir and a Pet Pouch. Both were super rare and hard o come by. Especially the Pet Pouch, it was even more useful than a pet contract.
This time round, Bob’s treasure was bound to have some seriously rare treasures too. She had to get her hands on that Teleportation Card. If she had to, she would just up her bid; she still had plenty of cards to play.
just as Leeanne was about to speak, she suddenly got a private message from Enrique.
Enrique: [Leeanne, do you urgently need that Teleportation Card?
Leeanne: [Yeah, I need it. It’s urgent!]
Enrique replied without hesitation: [Alright, I’ll have Vanessa hand it over to you.]
Leeanne quickly replied: [The attribute cherries are on my raft. Once I’m back in a few hours, I’ll hand them over to you!
Enrique: [No need. You saved Jessica; I owe you big time. The Teleportation Card is yours. [
Leeanne: [Jessica’s my friend. Helping her out was no big deal.]
Enrique wouldn’t budge, and Leeanne didn’t have the stuff with her anyway. She wasn’t in the mood to argue, so after exchanging a few lines, she just closed the chat.

Chapter 130
When she unintentionally glanced at Local Chat, she saw everyone was freaking out.
Vanessa: [Alright, the Teleportation Card is officially Leeanne’s. Leeanne, hit me up for the trade!]
Robin exploded: [Come on! How is an Advanced Pet Contract not worth more than just two random attributes?]
Vanessa: [Sorry, I really need those two random attributes.]
Robin: [That’s bullshit!]
Vanressa: [Whatever, believe it or not!]
Everyone else was scratching their heads.
[No matter how, Robin’s offer is way more valuable, isn’t it?]
[Vanessa’s being kinda weird. She’s not even taking the pet contract.]
[Maybe she is just more in favor of Leeanne?]
[No, it’s not about who she likes. I think she just really hates Robin!]

[Man. Robin’s really down on his luck. First, he got scammed, now he’s getting totally fooled. Back in District 34, nobody would’ve dared mess with him like this.]
Ellery: [Now that the districts have merged and only the elites are left, he’s not the big shot anymore!]
Spike: [He’d better get used to it. This is just the beginning.]
Robin was so mad, his eyes were practically blazing with rage. He knew perfectly well Vanessa was just doing whatever Enrique said. So this whole thing was Enrique’s decision
He gripped the Advanced Pet Contract hard and snapped: [Vanessa, you keep changing the rules! This auction’s a total mess. Just wait, no one’s gonna bother bidding on your stuff next time!]
Vanessa: [Really?]
Robin felt like he was swinging at air, so pissed off, but nowhere to let it out.
Vanessa sent Leeanne a friend request, then handed over the Teleportation Card right away. She didn’t even want anything in return.
Robin was scrambling like an ant on a hot pan, totally out of ideas. Desperate, he shot Leeanne a private message: [Leeanne, I really need that Teleportation Card. Name your price!)
This time, Leeanne saw it and replied: (Sorry, I need it just as much!]
After that, she closed the chat and didn’t bother with anything else Robin said. She glanced at the cave entrance and frowned slightly. ‘Guess I need to figure out how to snag that Bob’s treasure, Leeanne thought
There were still a few hours left before she could leave. If she went in too early, she might get hunted down by Bob. But if she waited too long, she might not make it in time to grab the treasure. She was in a dilemma.
