The Double Drop Buff Surviving The Endless Ocean novel Chapter 159

Chapter 159

Leeanne thought, ‘Maybe I should check if there’s an entry pass?

‘No, I still need to find the Advanced wood for building a two–story villa. There mud words eyes we really bred so you Common islands probably don’t have them!

Thinking of this, Leeanne remembered the cherry she’d listed yeuerday. She’d pax them up specifically tolon about those Advanced wood types.

Leeanne opened the trading hall and scrolled for a while. There were plenty of messages wiking foot wept the not a single one had any leads on where to find Advanced Redbeak Wood, Advanced White Vine, or any ofer venced wood.

Now what? Leeanne thought, feeling a wave of panic.

She needed the villa to help raise her raft’s rating

Leeanne was holding the blueprint, looking worried. When she glanced up, she suddenly spotted Apprentice 2 laughing but loud.

Now, Snowy and Little Blue had joined the fun too. They were all playing a game of beanbag tow, the same berbag Leeanne had made for Fluffy.

The little ones were having the time of their lives.

Apprentice 23’s really got it made, huh? So many playmates, good food and drinks, and everyone’s here to have fun with her. She’s seriously living the dream, Leeanne thought.

Leeanne strolled over, resting her chin in her hand as she thought. Then she went back to the mystical cherry grove, picked a bunch of strawberries, washed them up, and set a basket on the table. She called out, “Snowy, Little Blue, Fluffy, come get some strawberries!

Little Blue was the quickest. He shouted and rushed right over.

Snowy followed close behind, while Fluffy was slower and a bit goofy. He tugged at Apprentice 23s sleeve with his mouth, ainting for her to come along.

Apprentice 23 didn’t hold back. She walked over, grabbed a strawberry, and ate it. After finishing, she grinned, eyes

quinting with happiness. “Not bad, not bad! So tasty!”

She turned to Leeanne with a serious look. “Want to learn how to be a demolition master? I can teach you?”

Leeanne replied, “No thanks!”

What would I even do with demolition skills? Leeanne wondered.

Her eyes sparkled with a sudden thought, ‘Can you answer a few questions for me?”

Apprentice 23 nodded, still chewing on her strawberry. ‘If I can answer, I’ll tell you everything I know.”

Leeanne asked, “Any idea where I can find Advanced Redbeak Wood?”

Apprentice 23 said, “It’s on some islands, but you can’t reach them right now, and you won’t come across it either?

‘Why though? Leeanne wondered, feeling puzzled.

Apprentice 23 shot her a look. “Are you dumb or what?”

‘Seriously? That’s so infuriating! Leeanne grumbled to herself.

Still, she could pretty much figure it out–her level probably wasn’t high enough to access those Advanced islands. No wonder nobody’s ever found those Advanced trees, she thought.

But she’d already accepted the quest–she had to finish it, no matter what.

Apprentice 23 definitely knew something, but maybe there was some kind of restriction keeping her from saying anything

Leeanne asked about other types of Advanced wood, and just like Advanced Redbeak Wood, they were all found only on Advanced islands. Even if she used an entry pass to hop to a random island, or just happened to find a small one, there was no way she’d get her hands on any of that wood.

Leeanne was really scratching her head.

Just then, Little Blue finished his strawberries and smacked his lips in satisfaction. “These strawberries are so good! If only cherries tasted this good!”

over to Leeanne, begging cutely. “I want cherries! Give me cherries!”

3 looked puzzled. “What’s a cherry?”

ned around. “You’ve never 23 scoffed, “Come on goose!”

Blue blew up. “Yo

Wow, you’re missing out! cherries are the most delicious fruit ever!

ed to take a seat at the table, looking eagerly at

Apprentice 23’s eyes lit up. “Let me just teach you how to wreck things instead!”

Leeanne replied, “Nope, not interested!”

Apprentice 23 whined, “Aw, come on, give it a try!”

Apprentice 23 taught Leeanne the construction skill: Demolition Master–any materials you take apart are as good as new and can be reused.]

was floored. “This skill’s actually pretty amazing!”

der Apprentice 23 was so eager to teach me her demolition tricks, so this is the real deal! With this, I won’t waste any als anymore, Leeanne realized.

she was going to demolish her wooden pleasure boat, warehouse, coffee room, and all those rooms anyway. Normally, all those materials would’ve gone to waste, but now she could reuse them. “That means I can use the materials I get from demolishing to build a raft!‘ Leeanne thought.

This skill is really great, so practical!‘ she thought.

Meanwhile, the chat channel was buzzing about Apprentice 23 and Leeanne. Everyone had been waiting forever for any news about Apprentice 23’s demolition antics, but nothing ever came up. Then, as soon as the announcement dropped, the chat channel exploded.

[Wait, what? Apprentice 23 can do more than just tear down houses. She can actually teach skills now?]

[Whoa, Demolition Master! That skill is seriously amazing!

[Why does Apprentice 23 only wreck my place and never teach me anything, but she goes and teaches Leeanne instead? So unfair!]

[Looks like my hunch was right. Leeanne really knows what’s up with Apprentice 23.)

[Apprentice 23’s always so active. If we figured out her deal, could we get the Demolition Master skill too? Leeanne, how about selling us the scoop?]

[Yeah, that’s a great idea!]

[Honestly, Robin’s the one who needs this skill most. His wooden pleasure boat is such a bad luck magnet. He should just demolish it already, haha.]

Robin already tore it down. You really think he’d dare keep living there? That place is a total bad luck magnet!]

Poor guy, now he’s got nowhere to crash. Serves him right, haha!]

The players, still buzzing about Apprentice 23’s Demolition Master skill, couldn’t help but bring up Robin too. Everyone was aking pleasure in his misfortune and laughing at his expense.

Robin was sprawled out on his raft like a dead man, barely even glancing at his system panel for ages. He’d been lying there orever, totally drained. Just now, when he finally got a bit of energy back, he opened the chat channel, and boom, there it vas: the system announcement, Leeanne just unlocked Demolition Master.

I hate this! I really hate it!‘ Robin fumed to himself. Why is it always Leeanne? This was all mine before!‘
