Chapter 175
D:
Robin was beaten within an inch of his life and finally dragged into a courtyard.

Inside the courtyard stood a beautifully crafted two–story wooden villa. Right now, an old man with a dark, menacing expression sat in the center, fixing Robin with a murderous glare.
He looked at Robin as if he were nothing but a dead man walking.
Robin’s eyes were swollen shut, but he managed to crack one open and yelled, “Don’t kill me! I’m not the one stealing trees!”
Bob snapped, “I saw it all!”
Robin protested, “No, I barely cut anything. Most of the trees were chopped down by someone else. Her name’s Lecanne Dillion.”
He was desperate to pin it all on Leeanne.
Bob
gave him a chilling glare. “Hand over all the wood you cut!”
Robin, terrified from the beating, hurriedly pulled the Advanced wood out of his backpack. But he was crafty. He started dragging it out on purpose halfway through, then finally stopped.
Bob asked, “Is that all?”
Robin said, “That’s all, that’s all.”
Bob nodded to Bob 13. “Hit him!”
Robin was scared out of his wits. “No, wait! I’ve got more! I really do!”
He frantically dumped out every piece of Advanced wood he’d chopped, didn’t even dare to hold onto his Common wood.
Bob frowned. “Is that all?”
Robin flinched. “Bob, I really only cut these. Most of the trees were chopped down by someone else, Leeanne Dillion.”
Bob asked, “Leeanne Dillion?”
Robin said, “Yeah, she’s got no shame at all! She didn’t just chop trees herself, she brought like a hundred people to help her. She’s the one who wiped out all the trees there. Your people saw it themselves when they got back!”
Bob nodded slightly.
Of course he had seen it. In fact, his sons and grandsons had even lost several weapons over it.

Robin quickly added, “Leeanne’s a real powerhouse. She’s got two pets–a blue bird a… a white sheep…”
Bob stood up. “A blue bird?”
Robin nodded eagerly. “Yeah, a big blue bird. It’s gorgeous, super strong, and loves to curse people out!”
Leeanne kept her info locked down tight, but matter how careful she was, some details always leaked. Robin had been collecting intel on purpose and had his ways, so he actually knew a bit about her.
Still, it wasn’t much.
Bob frowned, his brows knitting together. “Could it really be her? Leeanne… Now I remember. Those two times my treasures disappeared, I should’ve known. It must have been Leeanne who took them!”
Bob clenched his fists. “Her again? Damn her!”
Robin kept his eyes glued to Bob, hanging on every word. He quickly chimed in, “Yeah, Leeanne’s super sneaky. She’s always swiping other people’s treasures, and if she can’t steal them, she’ll just snatch them by force. She’s got zero shame!”
Bob sat back down. “Tell me everything you know!”
Robin was thrilled. He immediately started framing Leeanne, blaming every crime, real or imagined, on her without hesitation.
He painted her as a ruthless bully with no limits or morals.
She was a total villainess.
The more Bob listened, the angrier he got.
His grandsons were just as furious. One of them said, “Grandpa, she’s just the worst! Too bad she got away. We can’t catch her now!”
Robin’s eyes darted around. “Why not just get on a boat and chase after her?”
Bob 13 snapped, “We can’t just go after her!”
Robin had already figured it out. These non–player characters must be bound by some rules that stopped them from hunting down players on their own, or maybe they just couldn’t go after players out at sea.
“Bob, I really regret sneaking in and chopping your wood. To make it up to you, I’m willing to hunt down Leeanne for you.”
Bob sneered. “And how do you plan to pull that off?”
Robin hurried to explain, “I can really take her out. There’s nothing stopping us–we can even end up on the same island, hunting each other down.”
Bob asked. “So you want me to let you go?”

Robin said nervously, “Bob, if you want, you can let me stick around for a few days. That’s fine by me!”
Anyway, his Summon Card would expire in just over ten hours, and he’d be teleported right back to his raft.
Then Robin added, “Honestly, the only reason I came to this island was to take out Leeanne. But she left as soon as I arrived, so I just stayed and chopped a fe ees. I swear, I had no idea those trees belonged to you, Bob!”
Bob just stared at him.
Robin kept pushing. “Bob, Leeanne is our mutual enemy. Getting rid of her helps you and me!”
Bob was silent for a moment. “Fine, go kill Leeanne.”
Robin was thrilled. “No problem!”
Bob waved him off. “Go!”
Robin couldn’t believe his luck. He was finally free.
‘Non–player characters are just too dumb, way too easy to trick,‘ he thought.
Since things were going so well, Robin figured he might as well try his luck and see if he could get his hands on some extra loot.
“Well…” Robin said, looking a bit awkward. “Bob, Leeann’s got this invincible set and some pretty dece weapons. She took my gear and the supplies I had on my raft, so taking her down by myself is kind of tough…”
Bob shot him a cold look. “You’re that useless?”
Robin gave an awkward smile. “No, she’s just too cunning. She stole all my stuff.”
Robin was lying through his teeth, making sure to blame Leeanne for stealing his supplies.
Hearing that, Bob felt a pang of empathy. “Yeah, Leeanne is way too cunning!”
Robin hurriedly said, “So… what do you say?”
He shot a glance at Bob’s descendants nearby–each one was wielding some seriously high–quality weapons.
Robin cut straight to the chase. “Could you lend me some gear and weapons? I’ll return them to you after l deal with Leeanne.”
Bob thought for a moment, then unhooked a dirty little pouch from his belt. He reached in and pulled out several items, dropping them in front of Robin. “Here, take thesel”
Robin picked them up one by one.

Robin was over the moon. This was a treasure trove! Bob was seriously loaded.
Bob said, “Equip yourself, use the Targeted Teleport Card to reach Leeanne’s location, and either kill her or capture her. Then use the Redbeak Island Landing Permit to return to this place. I’ll be waiting for you!”
He pointed at Bob 13 nearby. “This is my youngest son’s island–Redbeak Island. I’ll be waiting for you here on Redbeak Island!”
Robin was grinning inside, but he put on a troubled face. “But Leeanne’s invincible set is even stronger, and her weapons are way better. These…”
Bob’s expression turned icy. “Not enough?”
Robin jolted, quickly blurting out, “Yes, yes, it’s enough!”
He kept his mouth shut, terrified of making Bob angry.
Bob nodded. “Go. Kill Leeanne, or bring her back tied up!”
Robin’s eyes flickered. “Bob, right now, all those people who helped Leeanne chop wood, over a hundred of them, are still hanging out on her ship. There’s way too many for me to handle alone. I need to wait until they clear out before I make my move.”
Bob lost his temper and yelled, “Why are you making things so complicated? Just answer me. Can you do it or
not?”
Bob’s booming voice made Robin jump back two steps, totally freaked out.
Robin could see Bob wasn’t exactly the brightest, but his temper was explosive and he had zero patience for long–winded talk. No way was Robin going to risk ticking him off again.
Robin replied quickly, “Alright, Bob. Let me get a feel for this blade, then I’ll head out ASAP!”
Bob glared at him. “Don’t stall for time. I’m giving you one hour–kill Leeanne, or I’ll make you wish you were dead!”
