Suddenly, Little Blue dove down from above, bubbling with excitement. “Water. There’s water.”

Leeanne paused, a bit confused. “You mean a stream? That’s nothing special, right?”

Little Blue chirped, “Hot water. It’s hot, and it looks awesome.”

Wait, hot water? Is it a hot spring?‘ Leeanne wondered.

She’d never seen a hot spring on the island before.

Leeanne gestured. “Go on, show us the way.”

Little Blue took off into the air, with Leeanne and Snowy trailing right behind.

Up ahead was a rocky mountain. Little Blue soared to the top, but there was no real path, so Leeanne and Snowy had to scramble up the rocks.

Half an hour later, Leeanne and Snowy finally reached the summit.

The peak was only about eighty square feet, with a few big rocks and a tiny patch of open ground. A pine tree leaned out at an angle nearby.

From up there, Leeanne had a perfect view of everything around them.

‘Where’s the hot spring?‘ Leeanne thought, scanning the area.

Little Blue flew up. “Come on, it’s right over there.”

Leeanne walked to the edge of the cliff and looked down. About ten yards below, there was a small platform.

The platform wasn’t big, built from smooth stones of various sizes, maybe a thousand square feet tops.

In the center of the platform, white mist hung in the air.

As the wind swept through, the mist parted, revealing a pool of crystal blue water.

It was a hot spring. The white mist was actually steam swirling up from the water!

The spot was nearly impossible to find, hidden halfway up the mountain, surrounded by rocks, with sheer cliff’s below. No way anyone could climb up from the bottom.

The only way to get there was by reaching the peak first.

That was as close as one could get to the hot spring.

But it was about ten yards down. How were they supposed to get down there? Jumping down? No way!

But Snowy actually did jump.

It pushed off with all four hooves and leaped down, landing right by the hot spring. It even dipped a hoof in the water, then

Little Blue jumped, its tail fluffing up in alarm. “No way! You’re way too heavy for me.”

Lecanne gave a sly smile. “What if I toss you an Evolution Pill? Would that work?”

Even though there’d be a weak phase afterward, Little Blue couldn’t resist that awesome feeling. It was totally worth it.

Leeanne snorted. No way was she wasting an Evolution Pill for this. She had plenty of other ways to get down.

She grabbed a rope, tied it firmly to the pine tree nearby, pulled it tight, and climbed down.

With her Agility boosted, she moved fast. In less than a minute, she was safely on the ground.

Leeanne scanned the area carefully.

The hot spring was shaped like an uneven circle, its water crystal clear. She could see right to the bottom, where smooth pebbles of all sizes gleamed.

The pool’s edge was built up with stones, showing a hint of human touch.

Just a bit further out was a sheer drop.

It was a beautiful and peaceful place, tucked away from everything.

Lush clusters of plants sprouted from the cracks in the rocks, some even blooming with little blue flowers.
