Its body was wedged between the two tunnels, making it tough for the Red Phosphorus Python to move.

Now, both its head and tail were trapped.

That was Leeanne’s chance. She called out to Little Blue, “Go! Attack its tail.”

Then, she pulled out her Rare Dagger.

The Red Phosphorus Python was too strong and huge. Constantly using the Harpoon Launcher wasn’t working. Now that it was stuck, it was finally time to go in with the dagger.

‘Snakes freak everyone out, especially when one has to get up close and personal,‘ Leeanne thought, taking a deep breath.

Still, Leeanne didn’t have the luxury to be afraid.

Even though the Red Phosphorus Python was trapped, it was still lightning fast. Its tail was nearly out, and its body was starting to push free.

Realizing it was stuck, the Red Phosphorus Python was enraged. It lifted its head high, lashing its tongue at Leeanne over and over.

Leeanne gripped her dagger, crouched low, and slid forward, brandishing the blade overhead, ready to strike.

The Red Phosphorus Python was wriggling its way out, just about to break free.

Leeanne’s Speed Card was still active, making her lightning–fast. She darted under the Red Phosphorus Python and plunged her dagger deep into its belly.

The Rare Dagger was insanely sharp, slicing right through the Red Phosphorus Python’s abdomen. Blood gushed out, drenching Leeanne from head to toe.

Leeanne bolted out, gave her arm a quick shake. To her surprise, she was spotless, not a single drop of blood on her.

All thanks to the Invincible Suit. Without it, she’d have been absolutely drenched in blood.

The Red Phosphorus Python hissed wildly, its blood–red eyes showing fear for the very first time.

Meanwhile, Little Blue unleashed Rapid Claw Strike on its tail. The Red Phosphorus Python couldn’t retract fast enough, and its tail was torn to shreds under the relentless assault.

The Red Phosphorus Python let out a terrified hiss, slithered out of the tunnel, made a sharp turn, avoided Leeanne, and raced out of the cave in a desperate bid to escape.

Blood gushed out in a stream, leaving a trail of bright red across the grass, rocks, and the tunnel entrance.

Panicked and frantic, the Red Phosphorus Python fled at breakneck speed.

Just then, Leeanne’s Speed Card wore off. She felt a sudden heaviness in her body as her speed dropped back to normal.

The Red Phosphorus Python had escaped, and Leeanne couldn’t keep up. She shouted to Little Blue, “Go, follow it and see where it’s headed.”

Without a moment to rest, she hurried after the Red Phosphorus Python with Snowy in tow.

The Red Phosphorus Python had made it back.

Leeanne chased after it, but before she even reached the mountaintop, Little Blue shouted, “That bastard went back to the hot spring and dove in. Wait, it just vanished!”

Leeanne quickly replied, “Stay there and keep watch. I’m almost there.”

Leeanne scrambled up the mountain, rushing all the way until she reached the very top.

Little Blue exclaimed, “It saw me. It got spooked.”

Little Blue countered, “That bastard just dragged something out. Hey, what’s going on? The hot spring disappeared!”

From the top of the mountain, Leeanne watched as the emerald–green spring drained away in a flash, and the Red Phosphorus Python, dripping with blood, slithered out.

Its jaws were stretched wide, and it was holding a yellow orb in its mouth.

‘What is that thing?‘ Leeanne thought, baffled.

Leeanne’s mind raced. She looked over at the dragon statue’s mouth by the pool. ‘If my guess is right, that orb was supposed to be right there,‘ she thought.

The Red Phosphorus Python shot Leeanne a terrified look, but gritted its teeth and went for it anyway.

Leeanne stabbed at it with her dagger.

Although the Red Phosphorus Python was seriously injured, it was not trapped. With a twist of its body, it dodged the attack.

Then, it zipped past Leeanne and raced down the mountain.

Leeanne was wiped out, but she still called out to Little Blue, “Go after it.”

She shook off her exhaustion and pushed herself to chase after the Red Phosphorus Python.

Leeanne thought, ‘No way am I letting it get away. That orb in its mouth is a treasure.

‘If I’m not mistaken, that versatile spring water, which strengthens the body and expels toxins, comes from this orb.”

With the Speed Card gone, there was no way Leeanne could catch up.

But the Red Phosphorus Python was seriously wounded, and the Harpoon Launcher’s bleeding effect kept draining it. It was getting weaker and weaker and slowing down more and more.

Little Blue let out a screech and swooped down, launching an attack on the Red Phosphorus Python.

The Red Phosphorus Python, reckless and desperate, made a mad dash for the sea, leaving a trail of blood that stained the sand and waves along the shore bright red.

Snowy was quicker than Leeanne. It barreled straight at the Red Phosphorus Python and crashed into it, blocking its escape.

Half of the Red Phosphorus Python’s body was already in the water when it spotted Snowy charging over. It flew into a rage, but with the orb clamped in its jaws, it couldn’t bite, which made it way less dangerous.

The Red Phosphorus Python lashed out with its tail, sending Snowy flying.

Snowy was slammed into a nearby boulder with a loud thud, struggled for a moment, but couldn’t get back up.

“Is it injured?‘ Leeanne thought.

Leeanne hurried over to where the Red Phosphorus Python was, then quickly called out to Snowy, “Snowy, hang back and rest up.”

Little Blue laughed loudly, teasing, “Hey, Snowy, is that all you got? So weak.”

Snowy got to its feet, glaring in anger.

Leeanne grabbed her spear and jabbed it fiercely into the Red Phosphorus Python.

The Red Phosphorus Python was much slower now. Otherwise, there was no way she could’ve gotten that strike in so easily.

Snowy hurried over to join them.

With all three of them attacking together, no matter how hard the Red Phosphorus Python tried, it couldn’t get into the sea. It was getting frantic.

But it couldn’t bear to let go of the orb in its mouth.

Finally, after taking another blow from Leeanne, the Red Phosphorus Python, in a fit of rage, lashed out and coiled itself tightly around both Snowy and Leeanne.

It wrapped itself multiple times around Leeanne, pinning her so firmly that she could barely move. If it weren’t for the orb in its mouth, it would’ve sunk its fangs into her already.

Leeanne was being suffocated by Red Phosphorus Python’s coils, but her arm was still free. Desperate, she tossed her spear aside, snatched up her dagger, and drove it hard into the Red Phosphorus Python’s body.

The Red Phosphorus Python clamped down even harder, refusing to loosen its grip no matter what.

Leeanne’s vision went dark as Red Phosphorus Python squeezed her tighter and tighter.

Honestly, she had to hand it to the Red Phosphorus Python. Even at a time like that, it stubbornly kept the orb clamped in its jaws. If it had dropped the orb and turned around to chomp down, she and Snowy would’ve been toast.

“What’s going on? What happened?” Little Seal blinked, bewildered by the chaos.

Leeanne forced out a breath, her voice strained. “Help me. I’ll give you tons of shrimp.”

“Shrimp? Shrimp!” Little Seal’s eyes lit up, but it tilted its head, gazing at the Red Phosphorus Python with a troubled look, as if it had no clue what to do.

Little Blue rolled its eyes, “Seriously, Leeanne? What do you expect that thing to do? Help us out?”

Leeanne was being squeezed so hard by the Red Phosphorus Python that even raising her dagger felt impossible. Gritting her teeth, she gasped at Little Blue and said, “Come on… Think of something. Anything.”

Little Blue retorted, “I’m already attacking it. It won’t let go, and I can’t beat it to death.”

Little Seal piped up, “Waa waa? Smash it? Smash it.”

Little Blue flapped its wings and smacked the Red Phosphorus Python again, then rolled its eyes at Little Seal. “Move aside. You useless little thing.”

Little Seal puffed up its cheeks. In an instant, its whole body ballooned out into a giant sphere about ten to twelve feet across, like a massive beach ball.

It let out a loud cry, “Waa waa!”

Then it bounced up into the air, soared high, and came crashing down with a thunderous thud.

Leeanne’s excitement turned to alarm, and she shouted, “No. Don’t land on me.”

‘Come on, don’t be so unreliable!‘ she thought, exasperated.
