So far from Kromere, a flock of gelden pheasants roamed. Some were Tier 2, some Tier 1, and a few had reached Tier 3.
Their texthers were bathing, some pecking larily at the grass, and others flitting up into the trees.
Fommy sipped off his books, rushed up to the flock of golden pheasants, and suddenly pressed a button on them, shouting excedry, Underins the bienessen Ban

Emmett let out a weird yell from inside the fog
The mist quickly faded, leaving weak golden pheasants scattered all over the ground.
Mox bad, Lreatine thought. Most of these pheasants are just Tier 1 or 2, but the Tier 3 ones are way more agile. They managed to escape pretty fast.
Even so, there were still seven or eight Tier 3 golden pheasants knocked out on the ground.
Kment whipped out his knife and, with a flurry of chops, started harvesting the golden pheasants.
Leeanne kept her distance. She knew Bob’s Boots kept their effect going for a full ten minutes after being triggered.
Gideon stayed pus, clearly aware of that, too.

Leeanne paused for a moment, then understood.
Gideon had been skeptical at first and decided to try it for himself, but he learned his lesson the hard way. Now he was go anywhere near it.
Leeanne wasn’t all that curious. She was happy to just watch from the sidelines.
She stayed put for more than ten minutes.
Emmett swaggered over, holding two limp golden pheasants, grinning from ear to ear. “So, how was that? Was I cool Wast
awesome?”
Leeanne replied, “Yeah, super lame.”
She took a step back.
Emmett grinned even wider. “We’ll split the golden pheasants three ways, one for each of us. I’m feeling generous today. Everyone who sees it gets a share.
“Roast pheasant’s the best. Let’s get Roasting in a bit.”
Leeanne’s expression changed dramatically.
Those birds are tainted by that stink. Who’d dare eat them?‘ she thought.
She knew all too well the reek from Bob’s Boots. After one sniff, she’d sworn never to experience that horror again.
‘Eat roast pheasant that’s been blasted by that smell? No way! Not happening. I can’t handle it, she thought.
In just a short while, Emmett had a heap of golden pheasants. After breaking them down, he was ready to share with Leeanne.
Leeanne only took the feathers.
Suddenly, Gideon strode off in a random direction.
Emmett blinked in confusion, then yelled, “Hey, stop right there. Don’t you dare open that chest!”
He rushed after Gideon.
Gideon had grabbed a small chest and was holding it in his hands.
Emmett got flustered. “Hey, what are you doing? Don’t you know whose chest that is? I fought for it. Let me open it.”
Gideon frowned. “You already opened mine.”
Emmett insisted, “Come on, I always pull good loot for you.”
Gideon shot back, “You’ve opened three of my chests today.”
Emmett shot back, “So what? I got you a breathing mask last time, didn’t I?”
Gideon looked at the chest. “I’m opening it.”
Emmett slapped his hand over the chest. “No way!”

Gideon countered, “Watch me.”
Emmett snapped, “No.”
Leeanne walked over, watching the two of them argue.
She had zero intention of breaking it up. Instead, she kept moving. There was a flock of golden pheasants ahead, all untouched by that nasty mist.
She planned to take down a few and bring them back so Maeve could whip up some chicken stew.
Emmett grabbed her arm. “Leeanne, you decide. Who gets to open this chest?”
Leeanne said, “I’m staying out of it.”
She had no intention of getting involved.
Emmett couldn’t wrestle the chest away from Gideon and got desperate. “Gideon, how many times has this happened? You still haven’t given up? That’s just your fate, man! You’re the king of bad luck, the ultimate jinx. Nobody tops you.
“Nobody else can even come close to your level of nobility.”
Leeanne, loving the chaos, teased, “If he’s so ‘noble,’ why don’t you open a chest for him?”
Emmett turned back and looked at Leeanne with a helpless, wry smile. “Leeanne, seriously, quit stirring things up, will you?”
Leeanne snickered, “I’m off.”
She’d barely taken two steps when Emmett let out a howl that could shake the whole forest.
Emmett shouted, “I’m losing my mind! You had to open it, didn’t you? Had to do it. Seriously, what the hell did you pull out?
“How do you always manage to end up with the weirdest junk?”
Leeanne looked back. “What is it?”
Emmett stared in shock at what he was holding, a wreck of a thing. Maybe once it was a watch, but now the case was torn up. jagged metal pieces poking out everywhere.
Emmett yelled, “What the hell is this thing?”
Gideon sighed, “Trust me, you gotta get used to it.”
Emmett wailed, “No way, I can’t get used to this. If I’d opened it, I could’ve scored a wetsuit, a breathing mask, flippers, maybe even a weapon blueprint…”
Leeanne joked, “Hey, cheer up. You might’ve pulled twenty pieces of wood instead.
Gideon tapped a few buttons. “Alright, here. Take your twenty pieces of wood back.”
Emmett couldn’t help but laugh in frustration. He waved the busted watch strap like he was about to chuck it. Whatever keep opening your chests if you want. Knock yourself out.”
Leeanne quickly stopped him. “Hold up, give that to me. Later, I’ll crack open a chest and let Gideon do the honors.”
She still had Fortune’s Favor today, and she desperately needed Gideon’s infamous trash pulls to make it work,
