Chapter 218
Leeanne was silent.
‘Finally made it in, she thought.
She stood up from the beach and looked around.

The place was absolutely gorgeous. The sand was soft and white. As she looked up from the beach, it gradually gave way to lush green grass.
Wildflowers dotted the grass, and not far away, trees provided shade, vines twisted and turned, and birds like orioles and swallows flitted about. The whole place was bursting with life.
This island is nothing like the common ones,‘ Leeanne thought.
It was a long, narrow island, only about 600 feet wide, with crystal–clear blue water stretching out on both sides.
The sky was a brilliant blue, and the sun shone brightly.
The whole scene looked like a vivid, colorful painting.
Leeanne took a moment to savor the stunning scenery, then released Little Blue and Snowy from her backpack.
Little Blue stretched its wings wide and soared up into the sky.
Snowy bounded into the grass, stopping in front of a bush bursting with purple flowers. It turned to Leeanne, its eyes hining with delight. “Master, this is my favorite snack. Mmm, it smells amazing!”
I munched eagerly on the leaves and branches.
Leeanne walked over to join it.
Two–Tone Shrub: A common deciduous bush that thrives in cold and shady spots. Its flowers are gorgeous, and herbivores bsolutely love munching on it.]
ust a common plant, but since Snowy was so into it and it looked nice, Leeanne figured, ‘Why not grab some?‘
she dug up a big Two–Tone Shrub and tossed it straight into her backpack.
But she had a bigger mission here. Her main goal was to track down the White Marble Everleaf,
She pulled out the Coral Island Treasure Map and gave it a good look.
She realized that not only was the entrance tucked away in the coral reefs, but the whole island was shaped like a piece of
coral.
From where she stood, several thick arms stretched out, and those split into smaller, thinner limbs.
The island’s edges were all ocean, nothing but blue as far as the eye could see.
The most valuable treasure, the White Marble Everleaf, was marked on the map with a bold red five–pointed star.
It was located at the tip of a coral branch at the very top of the map.

Leeanne decided to go straight for the White Marble Everleaf. With Coral Island open at three entrances, she had no clue when the next group might arrive. She had to act fast.
She carefully checked the map again to confirm the White Marble Everleaf’s location, then headed forward.
Leeanne moved fast. After about half an hour, she reached a crossroads. Three paths stretched out in front of her, and she went straight down the middle without a second thought.
She had no idea how much time had passed before she ran into another split–three paths again. This time, she chose the one on the left.
If her guess was on point, all she had to do was keep going, and she’d end up right where the White Marble Everleaf was.
On her way, she didn’t come across any powerful monsters, but she did spot some gorgeous Prism Butterflies, bees, and all sorts of tiny bugs.
As for the low–tier creatures like rabbits, chickens, and snakes, she paid them no mind.
She kept going, and after some time, a dense forest appeared up ahead.
The forest was filled with towering trees, with not even a single path in sight.
Leeanne pulled out the Coral Island Treasure Map and checked it again, confirming that the White Marble Everleaf was ahead. She needed to get through this forest.
She stepped into the woods, weaving her way between the trees, and quickly made it through to the other side.
Still, no beasts appeared to block her path.
Up ahead, a tall mountain loomed, with a narrow, spiraling path carved into its side, winding all the way to the peak.
All around, the island was covered in signs of human handiwork.
Leeanne reached the base of the mountain and saw that the path was super narrow and steep. Judging by how tall the nountain was, she figured it would take her at least half an hour to climb to the top.
This is taking way too long, she thought.
she’d spent ages getting this far.
If she didn’t hurry, the second wave of people could find Coral Island any moment now.
Leeanne waved at Little Blue. “Come on, Little Blue, get bigger and fly me up
there.”
Little Blue spread its wings and morphed into a giant bird. Leeanne hopped on and perched herself comfortably on its back.
Little Blue was massive now, its back so broad that it could easily fit a whole group up there.
Snowy bounded up after Leeanne, landing right on Little Blue’s back.
Little Blue snapped, “You little lamb, you got some nerve riding me. Get off, now!”
Snowy just laughed.
Little Blue snapped, “I’m gonna mess you up.”

Seeing it about to charge, Leeanne quickly held it back. “Hey, stop it! If it means that much, next time you get to fly me back
Little Blue blinked. “I get to carry you back?”
Snowy grinned. “Next time, I’ll take you surfing across the water.”
Little Blue thought for a moment, then grudgingly said, “Alright, deal.”
Little Blue launched itself into the air, and with Leeanne pointing the way, it shot straight up toward the summit.
At the summit, misty clouds curled around, but there was still lush green grass, vibrant red flowers, and tall trees everywhere. And not far off, there was also a small pond.
On the cliff wall near the pond, two White Marble Everleafs were growing.
Leeanne spotted them right away.
No matter how eye–catching the red flowers or the thick green grass were, anyone who made it up here couldn’t help but be captivated by those little White Marble Everleafs.
White Marble Everleaf looked like a snow–white gemstone, glowing with a soft, radiant light.
Leeanne jumped down, clutching her Spirit Serpent Whip as she carefully approached the White Marble Everleaf.
Still no monsters? That’s odd, she thought.
She glanced at the details for the White Marble Everleaf:
[White Marble Everleaf: A spirit herb said to boost longevity and refresh one’s mind. Eat it, and one’ll feel a surge of energy. It only ripens once every forty–nine years. After maturing, it withers away in three days. So it has to be harvested at the right moment. Status: Unripe. Estimated time to maturity: 8-24 hours!]
Seriously? It’s not even ripe yet?‘ Leeanne thought, feeling a bit annoyed.
She paused, leaning in for a closer look.
No point picking it before it was fully mature. Otherwise, it wouldn’t work at all.
It was supposed to ripen in 8 to 24 hours, so basically, it could be ready anytime after 8 hours.
Leeanne thought, Do I have to stick around for the next eight hours.
No, I need to start guarding it right now, or some beast might gobble it up before it even ripens.
