The Sunheart Melon was the closest to the Water Treading Boots. Eating it would boost Strength by 2, but only once.
Leeanne wasted no time and headed straight for where the Sunheart Melon was.
Little Blue flew with her, making sure she didn’t run into any wild creatures.
They quickly arrived at the location of Sunheart Melon. Ahead was a valley, carpeted with green grass, bursting with flowers, and dotted with low shrubs and towering trees.
Leeanne hopped off Little Blue and thoroughly searched the area marked on the map.
But after searching for quite a while, she found nothing.
She started to feel a bit anxious. Since the map was scaled down a lot, the marked spot wasn’t all that precise. So, she expanded her search to the surrounding area.
As she walked past a towering tree, she suddenly heard a soft “meow.”
Looking up, she spotted a little cat sprawled out on a majestic branch of the tree.
The cat’s fur was pure white and spotless, except for a patch of gray on its forehead. Whether it was dirt or part of its markings, she couldn’t say.
Its eyes were half–closed in the sunlight, glowing with a beautiful amber hue.
It gazed down at Leeanne, radiating pure feline arrogance.
It was a regal and gorgeous little cat.
It looked down on Leeanne like she was nothing but an ant.
Leeanne was silent.
She loved cats, but this one was definitely not easy to pet. Honestly, she didn’t have the time anyway.
She lowered her head and kept searching as she walked forward.
After walking a few more steps, she heard another “meow.” The cat had reappeared, but this time, it was sitting in the bushes.
It was way lower now.
Its gaze was much gentler, and that regal attitude from before had vanished. Now it looked like an adorable little housecat next door.
It was playful and irresistibly cute.
‘Man, this cat’s vibe changes fast, Leeanne thought.
Leeanne gave the cat a curious glance, then carefully searched the bushes where it had appeared. When she found nothing. she continued on her way.
The cat wasn’t happy about being ignored. It jumped down, rubbed against Leeanne’s leg, circled her, and let out a couple of adorable, playful meows.

Then it rolled over right in front of Leeanne, gazing up with those beautiful amber eyes, looking cute and expectant.
It let out a drawn–out, playful “Meow.”
What’s it up to? Is it looking for food?‘ Leeanne wondered.
Most cats acted like this when they wanted something to eat, but Leeanne was in a hurry and couldn’t spare a moment.
Besides, this little cat was plump and looked well–fed. Leeanne thought, ‘No way this furball is starving‘
So, Leeanne sidestepped the cat’s persistent attention, took a detour, and kept hunting for the Sunheart Melon.
After walking a bit further, Leeanne was so frantic that she even started digging through random piles of rocks, desperate to find anything.
She had zero clues about what the Sunheart Melon looked like or where it might be hiding, so she left no plant unchecked, peering at every single one she passed.
A blade of grass poked out from the rock pile. Leeanne pulled away two dirty stones, and a scruffy little cat tumbled out.
Its fur was covered in patches of dirt and mud, and its belly was sunken. It was so scrawny that its ribs were showing. It looked seriously pathetic.
The little thing let out a miserable “Meow” at Leeanne.
Its eyes glistened with unshed tears.
Leeanne was silent.
She thought, ‘How is this cat so skinny? Has it been starving for days or what?
The one earlier was all energetic, but this one looks wrecked from hunger. What’s going on here?
Wait a sec, why does this cat look so familiar?
This poor, hungry kitty looks like that fancy, cute neighbor cat from before.
Nope, they don’t really look alike at all.
The one before is all plump and round, but this one is so skinny that it’s practically skin and bones.
I’ve honestly never seen a cat this scrawny before.
Sure, there might not be any Sunheart Melon here, but there are tons of regular fruits and all sorts of critters. The sparrow’s ire everywhere. Can’t this kiten catch a sparrow for itself?
It is definitely way too lazy!
Leeanne was about to ignore the cat, but just then, Maeve texted her: “Leeanne, I made some roasted porcupine meat. It’s fifth–tier, super tasty. Let you have a taste!”
Leeanne had been searching forever and was starving, so she plopped down on a rock to rest and replied, “Sure, Grandma.”
Maeve instantly sent over a small plate of roasted porcupine meat, plus a pork.
Leeanne took out the roasted porcupine meat, picked up a piece with her fork, and took a bite.

Wow, Grandma’s cooking is amazing. The roasted porcupine meat is so delicious, Leeanne thought, savoring every bite.
“Meow, meow, meow,” The paper–thin cat meowed anxiously, circling Leeanne over and over.
Leeanne had other things on her mind. After eating a couple of pieces, she lost her appetite. Without thinking, she grabbed a piece of roasted porcupine meat and told the skinny cat, “Here, quit meowing and have a bite.”
As soon as the roasted porcupine meat dropped, the paper–thin cat snatched it up in one swift bite.
It took a bite, and its eyes instantly lit up. In a few seconds, it had gobbled up the whole piece of the roasted porcupine meat, not leaving a single crumb.
Leeanne decided to feed the rest of the roasted porcupine meat to the cat, sent the empty plate back to Maeve, and stood
The paper–thin cat scarfed down the food in no time at all.
It stood up, arched its back with a touch of elegance, and shook itself out.
Leeanne blinked in surprise as all the dirt and mud fell away, and the cat’s skinny body puffed up as if someone had pumped it full of air.
Its face got rounder and cuter, too.
With a quick leap, it hopped onto a nearby branch and lounged there like it owned the place.
It was back to its regal, beautiful self.
It looked like the first cat Leeanne had run into.
The cat licked its paw, gave Leeanne a dismissive glance, and said, “So, turns out you like this sort of thing, huh…”
Leeanne was speechless.
She thought, ‘What is even happening right now?
Wait, so it’s all the same cat?
Is it bored or something, shapeshifting and tagging along after me?
Whoa, it can talk?‘
Leeanne’s eyes lit up. “Hey, kitty, you ate my food, so you gotta help me out now. Do you know where the Sunheart Melon is?”
The cat replied, “Yup, I know.”
Leeanne’s eyes sparkled with excitement. “Where is it?”
The cat flicked its tail and said, “Right here.”
Leeanne blinked. “Where exactly?”
The cat dug energetically at the spot beside it. “Here. Look.”
A tiny object tumbled down.

Leeanne quickly bent down to look, searching through the grass for a while before finally spotting a golden fruit about the size of a peanut.
[You have obtained the Sunheart Melon!]
‘Wait, what? This is the Sunheart Melon?‘ Leeanne stared at the tiny golden fruit in disbelief.
Leeanne picked up the golden peanut–sized fruit, not sure whether to laugh or cry.
This is a melon? This is a melon? Who had the twisted sense of humor to call something this tiny a melon? Seriously, that’s ridiculous‘ she muttered, still in shock.
Leeanne pulled up the Sunheart Melon’s description:
[Sunheart Melon: A spirit fruit, golden in color. It used to grow pretty big, but after mutating, it kept getting smaller and smaller. Eat one, and one’s Strength goes up by 2. But only one will work. Munching more won’t do one any good.]
She glanced up at the scraggly little tree where the cat was lounging.
The tree was pretty short, barely six feet high, with a handful of branches poking out. There were hardly any leaves, just a few limp, faded yellow ones clinging here and there.
With so few leaves, the fruit hanging on the tree was super easy to spot.
Leeanne hauled herself up and managed to find four more Sunheart Melons.
That made five in total. There weren’t any more left.
As Leeanne searched for Sunheart Melons, the kitten leapt onto a nearby rock and kept its eyes fixed on her the entire time.
Once she’d picked all the Sunheart Melons, Leeanne pulled out her iron shovel, planning to dig up the tree and take it back.
The kitten’s eyes widened in surprise.
Leeanne didn’t even look at it. She raised her iron shovel and dug down.
Clang! The shovel wouldn’t budge.
Ding! Spirit fruits on Coral Island can only be picked, not dug up. Please stop your dangerous actions!]
Please stop your dangerous actions!]
Wow, this island has a personality. Why get so worked up over it?‘ Lecanne thought, rolling her eyes.
Leeanne sighed and put her iron shovel away, her hopes of digging up the tree and bringing it back to the mystical cherry grove dashed.
She ate one of the Sunheart Melons. It was so tiny that she had to eat it slowly, bit by bit. She noticed there wasn’t even a seed inside.
A rush of Strength flooded through her body. She glanced at her profile. As expected, her Strength had increased by 2 points.
