The moment players saw the videos and pictures of the brazier, the chat exploded. A brazier! We’re saved!]
Someone texted: [This brazier looks amazing. It even has a grate for grilling. Look at those flames.]
Another echoed: [With a brazier like this, we can definitely survive tonight. Rodger, name your price.)
Rodger replied: [Heh, I only just got mine from someone else myself. It cost me a blueprint and a seed. See if you’ve got anything worth trading.]
Someone was confused. [Wait, you need seeds and blueprints to trade? Who’s got stuff like that lying around?]
Another player chimed in, [Seems fair to me. The newbie guide says we can make it through the night with a torch, so a brazier is even better. I think it’s fine. I’ve actually got a blueprint.]
Honestly, everyone pretty much agreed. Fire was the real game–changer out here.
Plus, the info on the brazier said it could burn for six hours straight, and one could keep tossing in firewood. As long as one had matches, they could keep the fire going forever.
While everyone was busy chatting, Leeanne whipped up a brazier for Jessica and only charged her the cost price: one iron and two wood.
Jessica was thrilled and asked for a video call, but Leeanne was too busy to accept.
Jessica texted: [Oh my, you’re the best. With this brazier, I’m so much warmer now. Leeanne, you’re an angel. Love you!]
Leeanne didn’t have time to reply. Her inbox was blowing up with private messages from people wanting to trade for a brazier.
She only checked out the ones that looked promising, and after sorting through them, she found several valuable items worth considering.
It read: [Horn Bow Blueprint (Basic): Ranged weapon. Even better if you’re a sharp shooter. Materials needed: I horn, 1 tendon, I wood.
[Arrow Blueprint: For use with a bow. Materials needed: 1 feather, I wood, 1 iron.
[Potted Grapes: Don’t just stare. Fertilize and water it properly, and you’ll have sweet grapes soon.]
There were also blueprints for a smelting furnace, an iron axe, a dagger, plus glass, tissues, and hand cream. She even spotted some barbecue seasoning and salt.
The rest was a bunch of random junk, but Leeanne was even thinking about picking up some plastic, just in case it turned out useful.
Leeanne kept herself busy, picking out trades, crafting braziers, and making deals with people one by one.
Before long, her backpack was full again, and her raft was getting cluttered with stuff too. Leeanne looked at her raft. total mess, and felt a little helpless.
She absolutely hated all this clutter, but with so much random stuff and nowhere to stash it, she had to put up with it for
now.
Something clicked in Leeanne’s mind. After upgrading her raft, she could build a warehouse now. She checked the menu

again and confirmed it.

It read: [Warehouse: Lets you stash your supplies. Starts with 10 storage boxes (stackable). Can be expanded later. Materials needed: 500 wood, 10 spatial stones.]
Leeanne immediately posted in the chat: [Trading braziers for spatial stones. Contact me if you have any.]
Some players had spatial stones, though most had only one or two. Three was the maximum anyone offered.
Leeanne set the terms: three spatial stones and three wood for a brazier, or one spatial stone and ten wood for a brazier. She was running low on wood anyway.
In the private messages, some made desperate attempts: offering 30 wood and 30 nails, or 100 wood for a brazier. And Emmett was flexing his riches, offering 100 wood and 8 iron.
Leeanne agreed to all of them. She thought, ‘Hey, they name their own price. I’m not the one gouging anyone.
After all that wheeling and dealing, she managed to pull together everything she needed for the warehouse. And even had eight spatial stones left over.
Braziers were a hot commodity right now, and with Leeanne being the sole supplier, every trade went off without a hitch.
A notification popped up: [Warehouse: Lets you stash your supplies. Starts with 10 storage boxes (stackable). Can be expanded later. Materials needed: 500 wood, 10 spatial stones. Build now?]
Leeanne answered, “Yeah.”
A notification popped up: [Warehouse built! Pick a spot to place it.]
The warehouse measured roughly 15 by 10 feet, which came to around 150 square feet. Leeanne had already cleared a spot and placed it there.
Leeanne stepped inside. There was only one door; three walls had shelves, and the back wall had a 5–by–4 shelf unit. Two rows of chests sat at the bottom.
It was ten boxes in total. These ten boxes functioned like her backpack slots, allowing stacked storage.
After checking everything out, Leeanne transferred all the items from her backpack straight into the storage boxes.
The only exception was the blueprints. Since those couldn’t be stacked, she lined them up neatly on the shelves instead to
save space.
Once she finished everything, her cod stew was ready too. After having a bowl of hot stew, Leeanne felt much warmer.
But the temperature kept dropping. Leeanne guessed it was down to about 50 degrees Fahrenheit now.
She had changed into her long–sleeved tracksuit, fresh from the dryer, but she was still shivering from the cold. All she could do was curl up by the brazier.
Forget about getting a good night’s sleep like this, Leeanne thought. She headed back to the wooden gazebo. It was a bit warmer inside than outside, but it was still freezing.
Leeanne remembered she could upgrade it to a wooden pleasure boat. That would need 500 wood, 80 nails, and glass. Time to keep selling braziers and stock up on supplies, she thought.
By now, it was closing in on midnight. Normally, players would’ve been asleep, but tonight, the chat was blowing up hotter
than ever.

Someone texted: [I’m freezing. I swear I’m coming down with a cold!]
Another echoed: [I can’t do this anymore. I’m so hungry, I’m chilled to the bone. What kind of hell is this?]
A third chimed in: [The temperature’s dropping so fast. I’m dying here.]
Emmett: [Man, this is awesome. Having a brazier is the best thing ever.] He even posted a video.

He was a chubby guy with a prosperous look, sitting with swagger on a wooden chest. Right in front of him, the brazier was blazing away, loaded up with a piece of bread roll, two buns, and a whole fish.
Next to the brazier was a small metal box, steam billowing from it. It was clearly filled with boiling water.
Emmett picked up a piece of fish with his fingers, took a bite, then grabbed a can of beer and took a big swig.
Emmett’s eyes were big and round, and when he grinned, his chubby face looked even rounder. “This is awesome. Man, I feel so warm!”
Envy surfaced in the chat: [Emmett, where did you get all these awesome goodies?]
Emmett replied: [I got it all from Leeanne. The brazier, the fish, everything! Seriously, you guys need to get yourselves a brazier. It keeps you warm and scares off monsters.
[Just now, a shark came right up to my raft, spotted the brazier, and hightailed it out of there. Man, brazier is a lifesaver.]
Leeanne had already been flooded with private messages, and now the chat was blowing up about her too.
Someone texted: [Leeanne, check your messages. I don’t have any seeds or blueprints, and I don’t have anything rare. Just wood and nails. Can I trade those for a brazier?]
