Leeanne grew anxious. “Why do we have to turn back? Can’t we take a detour?”

Snowy answered, “No. There’s a volcano erupting to the east, a hurricane to the west, and a tornado dead ahead. We really have no choice but to go back.”

Leeanne was speechless.

Suddenly, she remembered her luck buff for today was plain bad…

The Omni Radar automatically identified the danger, selected a safe route, made a U–turn, and drove extremely fast, afraid that it would get caught by the wind if it slowed down.

They raced ahead for another half hour, finally reaching the spot they’d been at before. With the hurricane out of the way, the raft pressed on.
