She leaned against the coral, her face pale, eyes shut tight, arms dangling weakly. Her long, wavy midnight blue hair drifted with the waves like underwater ribbons.

It looked just like long strands of sea grass.

‘So this is Seaweed, Leeanne mused.

She took a closer look at the little mermaid. She was slender, about the size of a common girl around thirteen or fourteen, though her tail was much longer.

Her features were delicate, with a tiny mouth and nose. She was stunning.

On her head was a small flower crown, woven from sea demon vine.

A string of pearls hung around her neck, with a big orange gem that shimmered softly.

She wore a midnight blue strapless top made of some unknown material, showing off her slender, fair waist.

‘What a beautiful mermaid,‘ Leeanne thought.

The Little Seal carefully held her up, making sure she didn’t topple over, sniffling and whining, “Leeanne, let’s go find Leeanne!”

Leeanne asked, “Looking for me?”

The Little Seal spun around, nearly dropping the mermaid in shock. “W–what are you doing here?”

Leeanne smiled warmly. “I heard you calling for me.”

The Little Seal looked dazed.

It blinked its small eyes, completely confused. It never thought that just saying Leeanne’s name would actually summon her.

Lecanne said, “Alright, stop wasting time. Your friend is in real danger.”

She told the others to move aside.

When the Little Seal saw Leeanne climb onto the raft, it quickly pleaded, “Save her!”

Leeanne walked over to the mermaid and took a close look at the injury.

The flesh around the wound had turned black–clearly poisoned.
