In the video, she picked up a piece of chicken and chewed it slowly, then took a bite of fried fish. After that, she moved on to cabbage and potatoes, finishing off with a bite of strawberry.
When Jocelyn saw the video, she gritted her teeth so hard she nearly cracked them, and then her mouth started watering like crazy.
It had been a few days, and every meal was a struggle. Even now, with enough food, it was just the same old bread roll and dry bread roll she was sick of. Toasting it didn’t help. It was still awful, no salt, no oil, just bland and tasteless.
On top of that, she couldn’t get any vegetables or fruits.
Strawberries were her absolute favorite.
Jocelyn slammed the video shut, then paused, realizing something was off. [Camelia, who gave you all that stuff you’re eating?]
Camelia replied: [None of your damn business!]
Jocelyn: [How is it not my business? For all I know, you cheated or swiped it. With that nasty temper and the way you talk. who’d even want to feed you?]
Camelia sneered, knowing Jocelyn was burning with jealousy. She just ignored her, took her time eating, and sent Leeanne a quick message. [Thanks!]
Jocelyn was fuming and anxious. She sent Camelia’s photos and videos to Hale, complaining up a storm.
Hale thought it over and quickly wrote: [If I’m right, Leeanne gave Camelia all that. Just now, Leeanne picked up some ginger, garlic, and scallions.
[There’s no beef or chicken in those floating chests, only Leeanne, who made it to the island, could get her hands on that stuff!]
Jocelyn: [With Camelia’s stubborn attitude and no friends to her name, there’s no way she could get close to Leeanne.]
Hale paused. (Hard to say. Those dishes were fried. Honestly, the only one with that much stuff is probably Leeanne.)
Jocelyn pouted. [Hale, I want some chicken and strawberries too!]
Hale could only give a helpless smile. He wasn’t that capable.
It was time for everyone to show off their dinner and late–night snacks again.
Myron: [Check it out, grilled fish, bread roll, sausage, and pasta Smells amazing!)
Mick Garcia: [Bro, you got sausage? Hook me up!]
Myron: [Got carbs, soup, and meat. This is the life! Surviving at sea is actually pretty fun–1
He kept spamming the chat, just to make sure everyone saw it
People immediately started sucking up. (Myron, you’re awesome!)

Jocelyn wasn’t even looking at the chat. She kept watching Camelia’s food video, getting hungrier and angrier with every second. Then, an idea popped into her head.
She sent the video to the Local Chat: [Leeanne, is this your dinner? I don’t know why you gave it to someone else, but now she’s bragging about it everywhere. Doesn’t seem fair, since it’s yours!]
When Camelia saw it, her heart sank. She regretted being so impulsive.
She quickly messaged Leeanne: [Sorry, Leeanne, I only sent it to Jocelyn. I swear I didn’t share it with anyone else.]
Leeanne raised an eyebrow and replied: [It’s fine!]
She still trusted Camelia.
Jocelyn kept stirring things up in the Local Chat: [Leeanne, you never really know what someone’s like deep down. You’d better watch your back and don’t let yourself get exposed.]
Leeanne let out a cold snort. Jocelyn kept pretending to care, but she was the one who shared the video with everyone.
It was a classic dick move.
Leeanne really didn’t care if she got exposed.
She’d already been featured on the local announcement so many times, there was no point tiptoeing around anymore.
She typed in the Local Chat: [It’s just food. What’s there to expose?]
Then she dropped a pic of her dinner right into the chat.
That was as good as admitting all the food in the video was made by her.
A bunch of people had already watched the video and were practically drooling. They instantly forgot all about Myron’s dinner.
A person wrote: [Why did you have to show me this? Seriously, why? I was perfectly happy chomping on my bread roll, and now I can’t even pretend to enjoy it!]
Another wrote: [My toasted bread roll and pickled veggies suddenly taste like cardboard. I thought I was living the good life, but now? Turns out I was just a frog in a well!]
Someone else wrote: [My heart hurts. Am I really eating pig slop here?]
A person wrote: [Leeanne, you’ve got so much food for dinner, there’s no way you can finish it all. Just toss the leftovers my way. I’m basically your human trash can!]
Another wrote: [No, wait, I’m a mega–sized trash can!]
Myron looked seriously bummed out. His dinner suddenly tasted like nothing.
Leeanne was totally his kryptonite. He was just about to flex his resources and skills to reel in some top–tier teammates, and then Leeanne had to swoop in and steal all the thunder.
Leeanne’s dinner completely crushed his. His meal didn’t stand a chance.
He felt that she was totally doing this on purpose.

The chat was still blowing up. Everyone was hyped about Leeanne’s dinner
Myron couldn’t take it anymore and wrote: [So showy! Such a waste.]
He didn’t dare mention Leeanne directly, afraid she’d clap back at him.

Someone caught on and shot back, still not naming names. [Wait, who was just showing off their dinner, spamming five messages straight?]
A person wrote: [Yeah, who kept flexing their pasta dinner in the chat?]
Another wrote: [Hypocrite, jealous hater, washed–up loser!]
Someone wrote: [Leeanne, if you can’t finish all that, just pass the leftovers to me!]
Another wrote: [Why are you stressing? She’s got her own human trash can!]
Myron was fuming. Not only did he fail to show off, but he also got hit with a wave of snark from everyone in the chat.
Meanwhile, Jocelyn was feeling pretty annoyed too.
she was puzzled. Camelia was always difficult to get along with, so she wondered how she managed to connect with Leeanne. From what she could tell, they seemed to be on good terms.
Leeanne was practically a celebrity in their area, but since they were both young girls, Jocelyn didn’t care to socialize with
ier.
Still, her reputation was hard to ignore. Jocelyn didn’t want to deal with Leeanne, but she definitely didn’t want Camelia getting chummy with her either.
she messaged Hale. [How did Camelia even get to know Leeanne?]
