Shirley had just been threatened by Myron and was feeling both wronged and angry. When she heard Leeanne’s voice, which carried a hint of concern, her eyes stung, and she almost burst into tears.
She’d done some digging on Leeanne and found out they were both 24, which made her feel more connected to her.
Feeling frustrated, Shirley replied, “Yeah, it’s driving me crazy. None of the bidders is offering any sanitary products, and that’s honestly what I need the most right now.”
Leeanne said, “I’ve got some. If you give me the Summoning Token, I’ll trade you a pack of sanitary pads. It’s a big pack, so i should be enough for your whole period.
[I can also make you some brown sugar drink, and I can even give you a brazier to keep you nice and warm.]
Seeing Shirley still hesitate, Leeanne added, “I can add in a tracksuit and a fresh pair of underwear, too. What do you think?”
Leeanne’s offer seemed pretty generous and definitely had some value, but compared to what the others were offering, it was still a bit less.
She was listing out these things one by one, hoping to be the one who helped Shirley out when she was in a pinch and win her over.
Shirley was over the moon. “Really? Everything you’re offering is exactly what I need. So many people were bidding just now, but not a single one had what I really needed. Leeanne, thank you so much!”
Shirley’s heart just sank. “I couldn’t chop any wood, so the brazier I bought before went out. I’ve been craving some warmth. and now you’re giving me a brazier. It’s like you knew exactly what I needed.”
Leeanne said, “Yeah, I’m giving you plenty of wood. It should last you for several days.”
Shirley said, “Leeanne, you’re the best! Come on, let’s make the trade.”
No matter how great the stuff the others were offering, nothing could beat getting exactly what she needed.
Underwear, a tracksuit, brown sugar, sanitary pads, and a brazier were all things Shirley was desperate for right now. With these, she finally felt comfortable again.
Leeanne handed over all the items in the trade and got the Summoning Token in exchange.
The Summoning Token was just a thin, palm–sized token, nothing special to look at. Leeanne dropped a message in the group chat. [Look what I got, the Summoning Token!”
In the group chat, Myron was fuming. [Shirley, what’s your deal? Hand over the Summoning Token already! Stop stalling 1.
Shirley replied: (Sorry, but I already traded the Summoning Token to someone else. She gave me way better stuff than you did!]
Myron exploded. [What did she give you? Post it! Let’s see what she gave you!]
Shirley really didn’t want to share. First, Myron was just the worst, she absolutely hated him second, some of the items were private, and she was way too embarrassed to let everyone see
Shirley: [Nope, I’m good. I love what she gave me, and it’s exactly what I needed. That’s enough for me)
Myron shot back: [Are you making shady deals or what?]

Emmett jumped in. [Alright, that’s enough! Are you seriously trying to strong–arm someone? It’s her stuff. She can sell it to whoever she wants. Come on, don’t be a jerk!]
Myron was fuming, but he forced himself to calm down and asked coldly: [Who’d you trade it to?]
Shirley’s dislike for him only grew. [None of your business.]
She said seriously: [What she gave me is exactly what I need, and none of you could offer that. In my eyes, her stuff is worth the most. So, everyone, let’s just drop it.]
Myron was so mad he was practically grinding his teeth. [You think you can just call it quits whenever you feel like it? Are you just playing games with us?]
Shirley fired back: [Yeah, I said it’s over. Deal with it!]
Myron was about to blow a fuse. [Tell me, who swooped in and snatched the deal?]
Shirley, already cranky from her period, shot back: [No way I’m telling you!]
Meanwhile, Leeanne was busy making a brown sugar drink for Shirley and hadn’t checked the group chat yet.
Rodger sent her a private message. [Damn, you’re savage! Myron’s losing his mind.]
Leeanne glanced at the Local Chat and saw that Myron and Shirley were going at it.
She immediately posted in the Local Chat. [I bought the Summoning Token. Myron, come at me if you dare!]
Myron was about to blow a gasket. He’d gathered up all his team’s supplies just to snag the Summoning Token, he was sure it was his for the taking.
But right when he thought he had it locked down, Leeanne cut in and stole the deal at the last second.
He’d been bragging to his team for nothing.
Myron was livid, his words full of venom. [Leeanne, I knew it was you. Just wait, when the island hunt starts, I’m going to hunt you down and tear you apart!]
Leeanne answered with a calm shrug: [Yeah? Bring it!]
Rodger sneered: [Myron, you got the guts to come at us?]
Danelle: [Myron, if you show your face, I’ll make sure you never walk out of here alive!]
William. I know how to kill someone.]
Leeanne grinned. Her crew was really showing their teeth, especially William, who was usually the quiet one. She hadn’t expected him to throw down like that.
His words were precise, but packed a punch.
Myron was so furious that he kicked over a wooden chest, sending wood and nails scattering everywhere.
“Leeanne, just you wait!” he shouted.
That was all he could spit out. Myron furned to himself. I swear, if I could get to that island right now, I’d rip 1 ceaune to
shreds.

Seeing Myron finally back off, Leeanne closed the chat screen, poured the brown sugar drink into a wooden bowl, and sent it over to Shirley.
Shirley took a sip, tears instantly springing to her eyes.
She hadn’t had a hot drink in forever, and during this miserable period, a bowl of brown sugar drink felt like a miracle.
