Rodger: [There’s no way to know. Maybe someone found an island or got a Summon Token but kept it to themselves. Why haven’t I run into an island yet? I’m getting anxious!]
Danelle: [Better to wait a bit. I heard those islands can be dangerous. It’s safer to go together once we’ve got more Summon Tokens. We’ve got a whole day to explore anyway.]
Leeanne checked the Local Chat again. Sure enough, it was buzzing with people talking about islands and Summon Tokens.
Too bad, though. This time, the person who got the Summon Token didn’t put it up for auction. Maybe they kept it for hemselves or made a private deal.
After lunch, Leeanne got back to training, and time flew by. Before she realized it, it was already six in the evening.
Camelia told her to take a half–hour break. During her break, Leeanne pulled up the Local Chat and saw that Myron was osing his mind again.
Myron: [Leeanne, just you wait!]
Leeanne was puzzled. She hadn’t said a word all day. ‘What’s Myron’s problem now?‘ she wondered.
Mick: [Myron, it hurts so bad. If I don’t get some healing salve soon, my foot’s gonna be useless.]
Emmett: [I warned you, man. You found that island after five, right? You could’ve just stuck to the edge and checked it out, but no, you had to wander into the woods, and look what happened, a wild boar bit you!]
Scrolling through the chat, Leeanne finally pieced it together. Around five in the afternoon, Mick came across an island.
He rushed over all excited, only to get his ankle bitten by a wild boar and had to run back with nothing to show for it.
Myron was both anxious and heartbroken. Suddenly, it hit him that if he’d gotten the Summon Token yesterday, Mick could’ve called him to the island. He could’ve saved Mick and maybe even scored a bunch of loot.
This is all Leeanne’s fault, Myron couldn’t help but think.
The more he dwelled on it, the more pissed off he got, venting his frustration in the chat once more.
Seeing Myron just wouldn’t shut up, Leeanne lost her patience. [Look what I’ve got, healing salve. But you’re not getting any Hope your foot rots off!!
Myron was so stunned he couldn’t even type back for ages, like someone had just choked him out.
The chat instantly blew up with everyone chiming in.

Myron was so pissed he could barely catch his breath, just staring at the healing salve Leeanne had flaunted in the chat.
[Healing Salve: Top–tier healing item, works on any wound, big or small.]
This stuff would totally heal Mick’s foot, but there was no way Leeanne would ever hand it over.
Mick messaged Myron privately: [Myron, Leeanne’s got healing salve. Maybe we can offer her something in exchange? 1 can’t let my foot get messed up.]
Myron stayed silent, thinking, Mick’s got even less sense than me.
As if Leeanne would ever trade me her healing salve
With the island hunt coming up, healing salve was basically a lifesaver. Even if there wasn’t an island hunt, Leeanne was just flexing. She never planned on trading it.
After mulling it over for ages, Myron tried to DM Leeanne, only to remember she’d already blocked him a long time ago. Gritting his teeth and shamelessly putting himself out there, he spoke up in the Local Chat. [Leeanne, I know I screwed up before. Name your price for that healing salve, just say the word!]
The chat blew up with people stirring things up.
A person wrote: [Whoa, Myron finally caved!]
Another wrote: [Come on, Leeanne’s no fool. With the island hunt right around the corner, that healing salve is priceless. She’d be crazy to trade it now!]
Mick kept messaging Myron, sniffling and begging for help.
Myron was beside himself with worry. He was twelve years older than Mick, Mick was just twenty, and Myron was already thirty–two.
Both their parents had died when they were young, and Myron had raised Mick from childhood. Their relationship was as close as brothers could get.
Whenever Myron thought about Mick ending up crippled, or even worse, getting seriously hurt or dying, it tore him up
inside.
Myron, swallowing his pride and putting on a thick skin, kept begging in the chat. [Leeanne, can you unblock me? I really need to talk to you!)
Leeanne didn’t even bother to respond.
Feeling helpless, Myron pleaded: (Leeanne, I know I screwed up before J
Rodger couldn’t believe it and dropped a message in the Assault Squad chat (Myron’s pride is bigger than the sky, and now he’s actually admitting he was wrong in front of everyone.
[Did the sun just rise in the west or something? Unbelievable!]
Leeanne wasn’t even looking at the Local Chat or the group chat, she was busy chatting privately with someone else.
Emmett messaged her directly. [Leeanne, I want to buy your healing salve. I know how valuable it is, and I’m offering you I

Leeanne hesitated for a second. She mused, “That’s actually a tempting deal, but honestly, I’d rather play it safe and keep the healing salve for myself right now.’
Emmett, worried she’d say no, quickly added: [Just being real with you, last time we hit an island, one of my teammates got
nurt.
He’s got a knack for herbal medicine, so he picked up those herbs I mentioned. If he hadn’t gotten injured, we could’ve rabbed way more.
He’s pretty sure these three herbs are used to make healing salve, though he’s not sure about the exact recipe in–game. But rust me, they’re definitely worth something.]
Leeanne thought, ‘Of course these are useful. If I remember right…
she pulled up the healing salve blueprint she’d gotten earlier.

Sure enough, those were the exact three ingredients needed to make healing salve.
All she needed now was an alchemy table.
Perfect, I’ve got everything I need!‘ Leeanne thought, feeling a rush of excitement.
Leeanne: [Did you guys come across any other medicinal herbs on the island?]
Emmett: [Honestly, just those three. But we only managed to check out about a third of the island.]
Emmett spoke with urgency. [Leeanne, my friend’s life is on the line. He’s badly hurt, and without healing salve, he probably won’t make it.
I’m begging you, please trade it to me. Whatever you want, if I have it, it’s yours. If I don’t, I’ll find a way to get it for you!]
