The Alchemy Table was shaped like a black cauldron. When Leeanne touched it, a glowing screen appeared with options.
Since Leeanne only had the recipe for healing salve, that was the only option displayed.
[Healing Salve: A miraculous wound–healing remedy. Effective for all wounds, big or small. Required materials: Healing Salve Recipe (unlocked), 1 Fungal Root, 1 Saffron Fruit, 1 Azure Leaf. Do you wish to craft?]
“Yes!” Leeanne replied immediately.
The herbs in her backpack vanished, and a few wisps of green light rose from the cauldron’s top. The screen flashed.
[Crafting successful. Obtained 3 Healing Salves.]
Leeanne thought, ‘Whoa, just a handful of herbs gets me three healing salves? Sweet.
‘Man, I totally scored this time.‘
Leeanne handed a healing salve to Emmett and asked: [Why can’t your friend just brew his own healing salve?]
Emmett sighed. [No clue. He can’t build a Alchemy Table, and he doesn’t have the recipe for healing salve. If he weren’t so badly injured, he wouldn’t have sold his supplies.
[Yesterday he was still holding onto them, but today he had no choice but to let them go.]
Leeanne realized she’d just scored another bargain.
‘If I had to guess, his friend probably doesn’t have the right setup. Otherwise, he wouldn’t be stuck without a cauldron,‘ she thought.
In the Local Chat, Myron was still trying to reach Leeanne.
Leeanne just ignored him.
Emmett, getting fed up, cut in. [Stop shouting. The healing salve’s with me, and we’ve already used it.]
After a while, Myron finally replied furiously: [Fine, Leeanne, just you wait!]
Emmett looked puzzled. (Why are you only targeting Leeanne? I’m the one who grabbed the healing salve. Why aren’t you threatening me?]
Myron gritted his teeth. (You’re not even worth it!
Honestly, he should’ve hated Emmett too. Emmett had helped Rodger trick him before
But maybe because Emmett was so chubby, Myron never saw him as a threat and never took him seriously
He just hated Leeanne with a passion.
Leeanne couldn’t care less. With Myron acting like that, she’d rather toss the healing salve into the sea than hand it over to
him.
Once she wrapped things up, Leeanne finally had time to check the Assault Squad chat and saw Danelle and Rodger had been talking up a storm.

Danelle: [I just cracked open a chest and scored a Summon Token!]
Rodger: [That’s awesome. Now our team has two Summon Tokens, three of us can land together!]

Danelle: [Now that we’ve got the tokens, all that’s left is actually finding an island. When are we ever gonna run into one?]
Rodger sounded a bit down: [It’s all up to luck now. I heard only one percent of people ever make it to an island. And after tomorrow, it’s the island hunt…]
Leeanne: [Don’t stress. Maybe tomorrow’s our lucky day!]
While she was talking, she started cracking open chests.
Without any Lucky Streak today, the sea demon vine only managed to snag six wooden chests.
She opened them one by one.
[Opened a wooden chest, scored a set of coral plush pajamas!]
It was a pink set, super warm and soft, and honestly, really well–made.
Leeanne was totally satisfied. The pajamas were perfect for the weather right now. She thought, ‘Jackpot!
‘Let’s keep going!
[Opened a wooden chest, scored a blanket!]
‘Meh, I’ve already got a blanket. Not much use for another one, Leeanne thought.
[Opened a wooden chest, scored 10 wood and 10 nails!]
Man, today’s been pretty ordinary. Maybe I’ll just hold off on opening any more chests and wait until I get a Lucky Streak. Leeanne thought.
Leeanne paused.
But the thrill of cracking open a loot box was just too much to resist. After mulling it over, she decided to open one more, just to scratch that itch.
Leeanne told herself, “The rest are seriously off–limits. Better stash them in the cabin.
Gotta have some self–control.
‘Screw it, one more!‘
[Opened a wooden chest, scored a Summon Token!]
Leeanne thought, A Summon Token?
‘No way, I actually pulled a Summon Token.
Talk about luck!
Inside the empty wooden chest was a palm–sized token, with “Summon Token stamped right on it.
‘Holy crap, it really is a Summon Token! Leeanne thought, her heart racing.

Rodger was over the moon. [That means our team’s got three Summon Tokens now. All four of us can team up and hit the island together!]
Leeanne nodded. [Exactly! Now we just need to find an island!]
The four of them were over the moon.
Leeanne was grinning from ear to ear. [Let’s celebrate, tonight, we’re treating ourselves to a good meal!]
Rodger and Danelle raised their hands in excitement. [Yes! Finally, we get to eat Leeanne’s cooking again.]
Seriously, they’d been craving her food every single day, but they never wanted to bother her.
Rodger waved and traded over a bunch of charcoal for Leeanne to use in the brazier. It burned hot and smokeless, perfect for cooking.
Danelle handed Leeanne a full half–dozen eggs she’d scored from a chest earlier today.
William handed over a few potatoes and a pack of seaweed from today’s chest haul.
Leeanne headed over to the mystical cherry grove first. Today, the spring onions, strawberries, and cabbage were all ready to harvest.
She set aside a few spring onions as seeds, then gathered the rest and stashed them in her storage box.
The storage box wasn’t a fridge, so the veggies wouldn’t last long. They’d have to eat them up soon.
Today, Leeanne was whipping up a feast, including beef stew with potatoes, scrambled eggs with spring onions, cabbage, fried fish, and egg drop soup.
Soon, the food was ready. She served up a plate for each of them, along with a dozen or so strawberries.
There was a little left over, so Leeanne handed it to Camelia, thanking her for all her hard work teaching her.
Rodger and Danelle were adamant that eating alone was no fun at all, so they fired up a group video call. Before long, the four of them were having a virtual dinner party together.
