Danelle nodded repeatedly. “I’m seriously impressed. No way I could ever pull this much awesome stuff from a chest!” Honestly, every single one of these items is tough to get. It was all about luck.
They all crowded around the chest, admiring the loot and passing it around. Finally, Danelle waved her hand. “Alright, Leeanne, you can stash it now. We’ve had our fun.”
Rodger and William nodded in agreement.
Leeanne gave everyone a quick look. “You guys don’t want any of it?”
Danelle waved her hand. “Taking down that boar was all thanks to your weapons, traps, and archery. We barely contributed. Getting a spirit fruit each is more than enough for us.”
Rodger nodded. “Yeah, we only got onto this island because of you, and we’ve already picked up lots of other stuff here. We’re more than satisfied!”
William nodded vigorously.
Leeanne smiled. ‘These guys are pretty decent,’ she thought.
Since they were being so fair, she didn’t want to act stingy about it.
She pointed at the chest. “Alright, the whip technique is just right for me, so I’ll take that. And let’s each grab a camo outfit. As for the long blade blueprint, you three figure out who wants it most.”
Danelle squealed, “I get the outfit? I love it! I’m obsessed with cool camo suits.”
The camo outfits were all the same style, but came in different colors, including purple, pink, green, and gray.
In the end, Leeanne picked purple, Danelle went for pink, Rodger took green, and William grabbed gray.
Everyone’s backpacks were running out of space, so they just stuffed the loot into whatever bags were lying around.
Rodger and Danelle each had a big heavy–duty woven sack. Nobody could tell if they’d looted them or crafted them themselves.
Their sacks were still mostly empty, with plenty of room for more stuff.
As for William, he’d whipped up a basket from some random vines and slung it over his back. It looked surprisingly legit,
Everyone had their own tricks up their sleeve.
Seeing Leeanne checking out their bags, Danelle lifted hers and bragged, “Leeanne, if your bag’s full, just toss the extra stuft to me. I can carry loads. I’m super strong!”
Rodger laughed, “Come on, give it to me. I’m the guy here, remember?”
Leeanne grinned, “Alright, if my bag can’t hold it anymore, I’ll hand it over.”
She packed the camo outfit and the whip technique into her backpack and popped the hat onto her head.
Now, she was down to just one empty slot in her backpack.

She quickly pulled out some strawberries and passed them around, keeping about a dozen for herself.
They all plopped down on some rocks, snacking on strawberries and sipping water.
They’d been out all day, busy scavenging for supplies, and hadn’t eaten a thing.

Danelle glanced at the Local Chat and rolled her eyes. “Hale’s showing off again. Whatever. Why does he have to bring up Leeanne every time?”
Leeanne pulled up the chat screen, and sure enough, Hale was flooding the channel.
Hale: [W spotted a lone second–tier mutant wolf and took it down together. Guess what we got?
We found a chest and scored a weapon blueprint!
Check out our weapon blueprint, a basic longsword blueprint!
And that’s not all. We also found some wild fruit along the way. After eating it, we felt totally recharged and weren’t even hungry anymore. It’s called Constitution Fruit (Basic). Our squad’s luck is insane today!]
On the chat screen, it was just the two Garcia brothers flexing. Nobody else bothered to respond.
Honestly, everyone thought the brothers were pretty lucky. They scored a super useful longsword blueprint, plus a fruit that nade them feel totally refreshed.
Both were awesome loot.
Hale was practically gloating. [This island’s loaded with loot, there’s all kinds of fruit to fill your belly, wood, and tons of >ther stuff.
We didn’t just get that weapon blueprint and the fruit that gives you a buff, we’ve got way more than that. It’s been a killer lay! Where’s Leeanne? Why isn’t she saying anything?]
Mick: [Maybe she already got eaten by a wolf. With her skills, she’d probably just start whimpering and crying if she ran into >ne.]
Hale: [Come on, she’s just a girl. She’d probably cry if she saw a wild chicken!”
Mick: [Exactly! So why even ask about her, bro? She probably didn’t get anything and is just sniffling in the bushes.)
Leeanne was speechless.
Leeanne thought, “These two are so damn petty.
People just let them act like this all the time!
Leeanne: [Wow, talk about clueless. You get a basic weapon and a fruit that barely fills you up, and you are so hyped that you forget where you came from.]
Hale: [What’s with the attitude? If you’re so amazing, let’s see you pull out a basic weapon blueprint!)
Mick: [Yeah, classic sour grapes, just admit you can’t get one and stop whining!!
Danelle: [Here, let me blow your minds. We have Power Spirit Fruit and an advanced long blade blueprint. And that’s just my haul.

As for our captain Leeanne, who did all the heavy lifting, what she got makes mine look like pocket change.]
Rodger: [You guys aren’t even worthy of seeing it!]
Hale’s eyes practically bugged out as he saw the two items Danelle just showed off.
He kept staring, his expression souring by the second.
The Power Spirit Fruit could boost strength by one point. That was the one thing he wanted most. Both he and Mick craved I strength boost above all else.
As for the long blade blueprint, he was practically drooling over it.
The Garcia family specialized in long blades. Myron had been dying to get his hands on a long blade blueprint. Even a basic ne would’ve made his day.
However, Danelle scored an advanced long blade blueprint.
Myron thought, ‘If only that was mine!‘
Myron was so jealous it hurt. He was grinding his teeth in frustration.
inally, he couldn’t hold back. [Danelle, you barely know how to use a long blade. Isn’t that just a waste?]
Danelle answered with a grin: [Yeah, maybe it’s a waste, but it’s an advanced long blade. I’ll just train up and get good at it. Myron, why are you so pressed about it?
Are you drooling over it or what?]
Myron, trying to act cool, huffed. [I’m fine with my longsword!]
Janelle: [Oh, really? Then tell your brother to quit messaging me. He’s been begging to get me to trade him the long blade ›lueprint!]
Mick, flustered, retorted: [I wasn’t begging! I just asked, okay?]
