Chapter 59
The red–billed blue magpie had been waiting impatiently. As soon as it saw Leeanne come out, it took to the air, urging her to hurry.
Leeanne carried the baby panda in one arm and the rabbit cage in the other, with the red–billed blue magpie flying alongside her as she jogged to the meeting spot.
Rodger and the others had already been waiting for more than ten minutes.
Right now, they were chatting.
Danelle said, “Guess what I found? Two rabbits. I butchered them and got lots of rabbit meat. We can have rabbit for dinner when we get back!”
Rodger said, “I took down a sheep. Level 2!”
Danelle cheered, “We can have lamb! I’m literally drooling here. Wait, Level 2? Did you get a loot box? I heard you get a box when you kill a Level 2 beast.”
Rodger’s face was hard to read. “Yeah, I got one. There were three bottles of mineral water, a blueprint for an iron shovel. and two packs of pasta…”
Danelle’s eyes lit up. “Hey, that’s pretty good! You have an iron shovel now!”
Rodger sighed. “Do you even look at the Local Chat? Lately, everyone keeps getting iron shovel blueprints from loot boxes. It’s not even rare anymore…”
Danelle’s gaze sharpened. “Still not satisfied? Don’t tell me you’re comparing yourself to Leeanne. When she opens a box, he gets a high–level weapon blueprint or even a whip technique.
Come on, Rodger, wake up. How can you compete with Leeanne?”
Rodger’s mood sank even further. “I’ve always been lucky…”
Danelle interrupted him, her voice firm. “You’re still lucky, bro. But seriously, don’t even try to compare yourself to Leeanne. Don’t embarrass yourself!”
Rodger quickly pulled himself together. “Yeah, you’re right!”
He turned to William. “William, how’d you do?”
William had been quiet the whole time, but when Rodger asked, he replied, “Chestnuts, peanuts, and a few chickens. The rest is wood, iron, and stones”
Danelle’s eyes lit up “Wow, chestnuts and peanuts! Those are my favorites. William, what do you want? I’ll trade with you
William shook his head. “I’m giving them to Lecanne!”
Rodger and Danelle froze for a second, then Rodger suddenly got it and quickly pulled Danelle back.
Danelle was just about to say something when she looked up and saw the red–billed blue magpie flying overhead, carrying a cage with several chickens inside.
She shouted, “Whoa, that bird is gorgeous, and it’s got a whole cage of chickens. Since when did birds get this smart?”

After hearing her shout, the red–billed blue magpie glanced down.
Rodger’s expression shifted, and he quickly covered her mouth. “This bird is no joke. Don’t mess with it!”
The red–billed blue magpie started cursing. “You bastard!”
Danelle got even more excited, yanked Rodger’s hand away, and shouted, “It talks!”
Rodger’s face darkened even more. “I heard it. It’s swearing at us!”

The red–billed blue magpie was gripping the cage with its claws, leaving its beak free. When it saw Danelle pointing at it, it got furious and started cursing again. “Ugly freak, idiot, bastard!”
Danelle snapped, “Who the hell are you cursing at? Get over here!”
The red–billed blue magpie wasn’t about to back down. It shouted, “I’m cursing you, you…”
‘Shut up. If you keep swearing, no strawberries for you!” Leeanne said, her face serious as she came up from behind.
The red–billed blue magpie obediently clamped its beak shut.
Danelle was surprised. “Leeanne, is that your bird?”
Leeanne said, glancing up at the red–billed blue magpie, “Nope, just my hired help. Go ahead. When you spot a big ship, stop there and wait for me.”
Yes, my fairy!” the red–billed blue magpie replied, buttering her up before flying off ahead.
Danelle grumbled to Leeanne, “That cute little bird is such a snob. It calls me an ugly freak, but you’re its fairy!”
Leeanne laughed. “It only knows a handful of lines. Seriously, don’t curse at it. Whatever you say, it’ll copy you in a flash.”
As they walked, Leeanne chatted with the red–billed blue magpie and realized it was a quick learner. She had no idea who’d aught it all those swear words.
The red–billed blue magpie was about as smart as a four–year–old kid.
Danelle couldn’t stop gushing over Leeanne’s bamboo rabbit cage. “Why didn’t I think of that? I just went and butchered my rabbits. Raising them is way smarter. You’d have endless rabbit meat down the line!”
Rodger snorted, “You can barely take care of yourself, let alone a bunch of rabbits.”
Leeanne was the only one here who could actually pull off raising rabbits.
Leeanne was carrying the baby panda, and she’d covered it up with her jacket, so nobody had spotted it yet.
Danelle asked, “What are we supposed to do? We have to leave the island before sunset, but the Summon Token is for 24 hours, so it seems like we can’t leave yet!
Leeanne had already considered this on her way over.
Right now, the only thing to do was to let them head back to her rafts.
Her raft was bigger, with more buildings and supplies than most, but she kept most of her stuff tucked away in storage boxes and wooden chests, so nobody could see what she really had.

The mystical cherry grove was totally invisible and off–limits to everyone else, so she didn’t have to worry about anyone snooping around.
She just had to tell the sea demon vine to chill and not show off too much.
“Come with me. Let’s head to my place and get some rest. If I’m right, you won’t be able to leave until around nine tomorrow morning. Leeanne said.
The others nodded and followed her.
It only took a few minutes before they reached Leeanne’s raft.
Danelle’s eyes went wide in shock. “Leeanne, this is your raft? It’s massive! What’s with all the flowers everywhere?”
Rodger and William were just as stunned, totally floored by what they saw.
The red–billed blue magpie swooped over, wings fluttering. “Beautiful!” ·
The red–billed blue magpie let out a cheer, clutching the cage as it flew toward the raft. Just as it was about to land, a tendril from the sea demon vine whipped out and smacked its claws with a sharp smack.
The red–billed blue magpie squawked in surprise, lost its grip, and the cage dropped to the ground.
Ignoring the cage, it turned on the sea demon vine and let loose a string of curses. “You bastard!”
The sea demon vine could tell when it was being insulted. Hearing that, it lashed out with two tendrils, giving the red–billed blue magpie’s wings two quick slaps.
The red–billed blue magpie was furious. “You idiot, ugly freak…
“Shut up!” Leeanne barked.
She grabbed one of the sea demon vine’s tendrils, turned her back to the others, and quietly said something to it.
The sea demon vine sulkily drew back her tendrils, keeping quiet around Leeanne when others were watching.
The red–billed blue magpie shut its beak, glaring at the sea demon vine with ruby–red eyes and a look of pure disdain
The sea demon vine, furious, whipped her tendrils again, brushing right past the magpie’s wings.
The red–billed blue magpie exploded, yelling. “Damn it, touch me again and see what happens!
With a loud crash, the sea demon vine whipped out several tendrils, snatching up the red–billed blue magpie and tying it up good and tight before slamming it down onto the raft with a heavy thud
Rodger, Danelle, and the others were left speechless, just staring in disbelief.
Leeanne glanced at the setting sun and hurriedly said. ‘Hurry, get on the raft!
She grabbed the chicken cages, one in each hand, and was the first to jump on the rat.
Rodger, Danelle, and William snapped out of it as if waking from a dream, scrambling onto the raft after her
Leeanne pulled up the iron anchor, and just as she finished, the sun sank below the haiton
The raft drifted away from the island, and they watched helplessly as it slowly sank beneath the waves.

Danelle went white as a sheet. “Oh, so that’s what happens? If we hadn’t made it back to the raft in time, we would’ve gone down with it. Thank goodness…”
