But it only took a moment for everyone to snap back to reality. Their eyes widened as they marveled at all the facilities on Leeanne’s raft.
Danelle’s cheeks were flushed with excitement. “Leeanne, can I check everything out?”
Leeanne grinned. “Go ahead!”
The buildings on her raft were just for show. Her real trump cards were the sea demon vine’s abilities and the mystical cherry grove. Those were secrets no one else could see.
She took off her camouflage jacket, planning to set the panda cub down. It weighed over twenty pounds, and after carrying it for so long, her arms were starting to ache.
Danelle spotted the panda cub and immediately squealed, “Leeanne, where did you get this adorable panda? It’s so cute. Let me hold it!”
Without waiting for an answer, she snatched the cub into her arms and started squishing and cuddling its head and body, her eyes practically shining with excitement.
The poor panda cub was totally dazed, staring with wide eyes, looking completely lost.
Rodger was just as surprised. “Wait, you even have a panda?”
The panda cub’s cuteness was simply irresistible. Everyone wanted a turn to pet it, reaching out to touch it, and the group ended up fussing over the cub for quite a while.
The poor little cub looked completely bewildered at first, but after a moment, it started clinging to their arms and legs, rolling around helplessly.
Danelle was absolutely smitten.
Leeanne quickly explained how she’d found the cub, then dropped off whatever she could in the storage area.
She also grabbed a few thin bamboo shoots for the panda cub to munch on.
Worried the cub might tumble off, Leeanne checked all the railings again and told the sea demon vine to keep an eye out Only then did she feel safe enough to set the panda cub down on the raft.
Danelle was absolutely smitten, reluctantly giving the cub one last gentle pat before finally letting go.
After that, Leeanne showed them around a bit.
Rodger and William couldn’t stop admiring everything as they looked around.
Danelle was totally over the top. “Wow, Leeanne, your house is gorgeous. It even has glass. Oh my god, the glass is so clear. 1 can see right through it.
“Wow, Leeanne, your bed is gorgeous. It even has four pillows, Seriously, it’s so soft.
“You even have a table and chairs? The wood looks awesome. Talk about living the good life.
“Leeanne, you even have your own garden?

Chapter 60
“Whoa, Leeanne, is this your warehouse? There are so many boxes in here.

“Leeanne, is this the fully automatic shower pod the game rewarded you with? And a smart toilet too? This is so modern, I dying of envy.
“Leeanne, do you need a sidekick? Let me be your sidekick. Life here is just too good!”
Rodger and William kept gushing over everything as they looked around. After a bit, Leeanne had them chill out on the chairs by the stove.
She brought out two more chairs from inside, making it four in total, one for each of them.
After a long, tiring day, everyone was starving and parched. Leeanne grabbed a watermelon from storage, sliced it up, and passed out pieces to everyone.
There was still plenty of watermelon left in her stash.
Danelle took a bite of watermelon and slumped back in her chair. “Wow, it’s so sweet. Way tastier than the usual kind, fresh, pure, and totally untouched. This is what real living feels like!”
Rodger kept nodding. “Honestly, this vibe is even better than hanging out at our villa.”
Suddenly, a weak whimpering sound reached their ears.
Everyone glanced over and spotted the red–billed blue magpie, tied up tightly with vines on the roof of the raft, staring at them with its bright red eyes.
It looked utterly miserable.
The sea demon vine found the magpie’s chatter unbearable, so when it tied the bird up, it even gagged its beak with vines.
That left the magpie totally immobilized and silenced.
But seeing everyone munching on watermelon, it couldn’t take it anymore and struggled to let out a weak whimper.
“Why is it still here?” Danelle paused, a bit confused.
Rodger said, “The vines on Leeanne’s raft tied it up earlier. I guess they just forgot to release it…”
Leeanne slapped her forehead. ‘Wow, I really did bring it along without even noticing.
She got up, walked a few steps, and looked up at the red–billed blue magpie, while quietly telling the sea demon vine, “Alright, Viney, let it loose”
The sea demon vine loosened its grip, and the red–billed blue magpie rolled right off the roof of the raft. With a quick flap of its wings, it shot straight for the watermelon on the table.
Leeanne called out, warning, “Stop. No snatching. Behave, and no mouthing off, or I’ll toss you into the sea!”
The red–billed blue magpie hovered in the air for a moment, then landed, looking pitiful and hurt, its eyes full of grievance. “I won’t mouth off!”
Leeanne pulled out a strawberry and tossed it over. “Here, that’s your pay!”
The red–billed blue magpie gobbled up the strawberry in a few bites, then waddled over to Leeanne and nuzzled her with its neck. “Watermelon, fairy, watermelon!”

Chapter 60
It knew that the tasty red stuff everyone was eating was watermelon.
Danelle couldn’t resist. “Oh, it’s so pretty. Just let it have a bite!”

Leeanne handed a slice of watermelon to the red–billed blue magpie, which scarfed it down in a few bites. Then it gave Leeanne a longing look, clearly begging for more.
Leeanne looked at it, hesitated for a moment, and said, “You eat so much. I really don’t want to have to take care of you!” “Keep me!” the red–billed blue magpie chirped, nuzzling up to Leeanne again.
When it wasn’t cursing, its voice was sweet and delicate, really pleasant to hear.
Its feathers were silky smooth, even more vivid and gorgeous up close.
Leeanne couldn’t help but reach out and give it a gentle stroke.
It’s so beautiful. Honestly, having something this pretty around just to look at wouldn’t be so bad, Leeanne thought to herself.
Danelle got all excited. “Leeanne, if you don’t want to keep it, just give it to me. I love it. It’s so gorgeous, and that tail is imazing. It’s only going to get prettier!”
Rodger quickly stopped her. “Come on, did you see what this bird eats? You can’t afford to keep it!”
The red–billed blue magpie squawked at Danelle, “No way, you bastard…”
“What?” Leeanne’s face darkened.
The red–billed blue magpie immediately shut up, all sulky and pitiful, then snuggled up to her again.
Alright, go take a break for now. We’ll talk about it later,” Leeanne said, deciding to let the red–billed blue magpie cool off for a bit. It was way too cocky.
The red–billed blue magpie hopped back onto the raft and perched on the roof, looking super pathetic.
After all that fuss, it was already past seven in the evening. Leeanne grabbed some potatoes to cook.
She was planning to cook up a big pot of potatoes with cod.
As she got the food cooking, she suddenly noticed William heading into her warehouse, pulling things out of his backpack one by one.
It looked like he was planning to give Leeanne all the supplies he got from the island.
Leeanne nodded to herself. William had always kept his word, handing over everything he got.
But she knew this couldn’t go on forever. If William kept giving her all his stuff, he’d never make any progress himself
If he couldn’t grow, he’d just end up getting eliminated.
