People started spamming Leeanne’s name in the chat, and the Garcia brotherswords got drowned out in an instant.

Everyone’s focus instantly switched to Leeanne.

The Garcia brothers were fuming with rage.

Danelle’s eyes sparkled as she looked at Leeanne. Leeanne, did you post any photos? Are you entering the contest?

Leeanne had already taken a bunch of photos and picked out three to submit.

She was now scrolling through the other contestantsentries.

Most of the submissions were way off the mark, either because people didn’t get what the contest was about or just didn’t have anything worth showing.

All they did was set up a big spread of food, snap a shot of some fancy building, or show off some highend gear, basically just flaunting their money.

But honestly, their wealth was nothing compared to Leeanne’s.

After Danelle asked, Leeanne shared the photos she’d picked out with the group.

The first was her desk as it looked right now, the second showed the outside of her coffee room, and the third was her archery range.

Beside the target was a purple bamboo pole with a red light dangling from the top, swaying in the wind, and beyond that, one could see the endless ocean.

Rodger nodded in approval. These photos have a great vibe,he thought.

Danelle stared at the photos for a while, then suddenly asked, Leeanne, why didn’t you show off your hightech bath pod? That’s peak luxury living!

Leeanne shook her head. That doesn’t really fit.”

Rodger’s eyes flashed as he caught on. None of Leeanne’s photos showed anyone’s face, just a hand or a foot here and there, enough to let people know they were hanging out.

She also made sure not to show her pets or the vines covering the raft

He knew that Leeanne was being careful, probably not wanting to reveal too much.

When she got the hightech bath pod, everyone already got notified anyway, so posting it would just be oversharing

Rodger nodded. Leeanne, I think these are really good.

Danelle didn’t think too much about it. When she saw Rodger agree, she kept nodding Yeah. I like them too.

Even with just these, we’re way ahead of everyone else. Staying lowkey is actually pretty cool

Leeanne uploaded her three photos, naming her entry Evening Chat by the Stove

She also chose to hide her server and name, because just a moment ago, she’d gotten a warning from the Survival Systern

[Survival Alert: We strongly recommend you hide your server and name in the Quality of Life Contest. If you don’t, you’re asking for endless trouble.]

Since the Survival System told her to keep her server and name hidden, she couldn’t use any photos that might give her away. That was why she picked those three pictures.

After getting the warning, she took a moment to really think things through.

With the upcoming Island Hunt, it was obvious this game didn’t stop players from killing each other. If her guess was right, this wasn’t the first time something like this had happened.

As the player count dropped, servers would definitely start merging. With Servers 31 to 40 all lined up, they’d probably get grouped together soon.

If she exposed herself in the Quality of Life Contest, it’d be like putting a giant target on her back for a million people across

ten servers.

Stick your head out and you’re the first to get shot, Leeanne reminded herself.

There had to be a reason the contest rules let players hide their server and name.

So, she followed the system’s advice.

After uploading her photos, Leeanne didn’t give it another thought. The four of them just kicked back, sipping coffee, chatting, cracking sunflower seeds, and snacking on fresh fruit.

Meanwhile, with all their hard work, the Garcia brothers finally clawed their way into the top 300.

Riding high on their success, the two of them flooded the chat with their bragging all over again.

Leeanne and her crew just ignored the Garcia brothers this time, having a great time chatting among themselves. Even William, who usually kept quiet, was joining in the conversation.

It had been a long day, and by around midnight, they just couldn’t keep their eyes open anymore. Rodger and William crashed right there on the bench, while Leeanne took Danelle to her bedroom.

After washing up, the two of them climbed into bed, each wrapped in their own blanket.

Danelle hugged her soft pillow, too excited to sleep, and kept Leeanne up half the night with endless chatter.

It was a long while before the two of them finally drifted off into a deep sleep.

The next morning, a little after nine, Danelle was still fast asleep when she got teleported back to her own raft.

Rodger and William had woken up early and helped Leeanne tidy up her raft a bit. Before they could even grab a bite to eat, they got sent back to their own rafts too.

Leeanne didn’t wake up until half past nine.

As soon as she woke up, Leeanne couldn’t wait to dive into the mystical cherry grove.

[Today’s Mystical Cherry Grove Luck Boost, None!]

Luck was pretty average today, but Leeanne didn’t mind one bit. Yesterday had been such a windfall, she still hadn’t even finished sorting through all the stuff she’d scored.

Wait, why hasn’t the Evening Chat by the Stovequest been completed yet?Leeanne wondered, a little puzzled.

She frowned and thought, Could it be that last night’s gathering wasn’t successful enough?

No way. We had tons of snacks and supplies, the vibe was awesome, and everyone was having a blast. What could’ve possibly gone wrong?

Was it just not fancy enough?

After thinking about it for a while and getting nowhere, Leeanne just shrugged it off.

She grabbed some peanuts, chestnuts, and sunflower seeds from her stash, then headed into the mystical cherry grove to plant and water them all.

Yesterday, she’d also picked up some pear and orange seeds. They just needed to dry for a couple days before she could plant them.

She also planted bamboo shoots and RainbowTipped Arrow Bamboo, making sure to get each one in the ground.

By the time she finished all that, it was already well past noon.

When she stepped out of the mystical cherry grove, a redbilled blue magpie swooped over while Fluffy scampered after.

The redbilled blue magpie got there first, flapping right up to Leeanne and chirping, Strawberries. Eat!

Oh, so it’s just hungry,Leeanne realized.

Leeanne looked at it, unimpressed. Why do I even bother feeding you? What’s the point of having you around?

redbilled blue magpie was stunned for a second, then squawked in outrage. You

Leeanne gave it a sideeye, and it immediately clammed up.

The Sea Demon Vine whispered, Leeanne, you should keep her. She can evolve, eventually, she might turn into a bluejay, a legendary bird, and that could really help you out.”

Bluejay? Leeanne echoed in her mind, eyes widening in surprise.

She glanced at the fluffedup redbilled blue magpie, remembering how foulmouthed she always was.

Seriously? She doesn’t look anything like a bluejay, Leeanne thought,

Bluejay was a type of divine bird, a branch of the phoenix family. The azure ones were called bluejay, the crimson ones were called phoenix. Both could serve as immortal mounts.

A mount?Leeanne’s eyes lit up at the thought.
