Chapter 262: Like He Doesn’t Care
Grayson
There was a pause on the other end of the line before Josh spoke up again.
“That’s just my neighbour from next door,” he said convincingly. “She was chatting with a friend about something silly while I was walking by.”
She nodded right away like he could see her. “I see. Anyway…
Just like that, she forgot about it and they flirted for a few more seconds before the call came to an end
It has zero effect on me, knowing that she was talking like that to another guy. She had stopped being my a long time ago. Besides, I had bigger problems to worry about.
Right when we stopped at a red light, I just sat still for a few seconds, but leaned toward my modo saw something shocking. Josh was in a moving car and was in the company of a girl. The car had already turned left in the opposite direction and stopped at a motel, waiting for the gates to open
So much had changed about him because unlike the motel in which I had found him with Tiffany, this one, quite decent.
That was already lifting my mood because I knew I wasn’t going to be miserable alone, so I quickly locked over at Tiffany and said, “I thought Josh was in Spain.”
“He is,” she said confidently.
I chuckled. “Then who’s that?”
“What are you talking about?”
She sounded so irritated, but moved closer anyway, catching Josh and that girl right before the car drove pa the gates.

Just then, our car started moving again when the light turned green, but she was so confused that she almo opened the door of the moving car.
I had to grab her hand to stop her. “What the hell are you doing?”
Without responding, she frantically reached for her phone and dialed Josh’s number. Her breathing already uneven and I was so glad that something so exciting was about to happen.
Right when Josh picked up, she sweetly said, “Hey, Babe, I was thinking that we could have a video ch now. It wasn’t enough just talking on the phone and hearing your voice, you know.” She quickly frowned. you’re heading to a meeting right now?”
She gritted her teeth as she listened to the rest of his response from the other end of the line
I could see how hard she was fighting the urge to tell him what she had just seen.
With a polite smile, she said, “I see. Then we’ll have that video chat after your meeting.”
As soon as the call ended, she shoved her phone in her purse and yelled at our chauffeur to turn the car around and drive to the motel.
The anger in her voice was already so satisfying that I could feel my mood improving greatly.
When the chauffeur got to the motel parking lot, he parked right next to Josh’s car. It was a very basic car compared to what I was used to.
Tiffany stepped out quickly and slammed the door hard before heading in the direction of the

There was no way I was going to miss out on that, so I stepped out quickly as well and followed behind her. I had a few more steps to go before catching up with her, but I could still hear her heavy breathing.
I caught up just before we turned at the corner

dress.
While it was shocking to me in the best way possible, it was shocking to Tiffany in the worst way possib
“Josh!” she cried out.
He looked down at her at the same time as the girl and didn’t even look surprised that he’d been exposed two ways.
“Oh, hey,” he said while casually holding the other girl by the waist. “I didn’t know you’d be here. Hey, Gray
I wasn’t even able to reply to Josh because I was still stunned.
I glanced over at Tiffany and she just stood in place as her body trembled. No matter what, I didn’t want h make a scene in the presence of the receptionist.
Then, she hurried up the stairs while looking like she was just a second away from slapping Josh.
“So this is Spain? You know what? Forget that? Who is she?” Tiffany asked, her voice so demanding.
The other girl didn’t even seem surprised. She just boldly held onto Josh’s arm.
Without any hesitation, Josh said, “First of all, nope. I’m not in Spain. I came back two days ago. Secondly, is Jessica, my girlfriend.”
“Girlfriend?” Tiffany repeated with a trembling voice.
It seemed that part bothered her more than the fact that he wasn’t in Spain.
He nodded casually. “Yup. It was great seeing the two of you. Now, if you’ll excuse us.” He then looked over Jessica. “Let’s go, baby.”
And with that, he continued leading her up the stairs, but just after they turned into the hallway, Tiffany rush towards them and grabbed Josh by the collar.
“You’re not going anywhere until you explain to me what the fuck is going on!” she demanded through gritte
teeth.
He casually placed his hands on her wrists to pull her hands away. “What else could possibly be going on right now?”
“You better let him go!” Jessica warned her with wide eyes.
“This has nothing to do with you so stay out of it! And you! How are you here and with this bitch? Weren’t you supposed to be overseeing our investment?”
My eyes widened because that was the last thing I expected to hear. She had that much trust in him?
