The Love I Begged For Was Never Real novel Chapter 110

Gideon marched through the crowd with long, furious strides. The temperature around him dropped below freezing, his deep eyes churning with terrifying, violent rage.

He didn't spare a glance at anyone else, walking straight to Nora's side and using his tall frame to shield her completely.

"Who did you just call a trophy? Who did you say has no shame?"

The arrogance on Seraphina's face instantly froze. Staring at Gideon's dark, thunderous expression and feeling the terrifying, oppressive aura radiating off him, her legs began to turn to jelly.

She had only ever heard that Gideon absolutely despised Nora, even slapping her at a previous banquet. She thought stepping up to humiliate Nora today would not only avenge Giselle, but maybe even win her points with Gideon.

She never expected that instead of standing by coldly as the rumors suggested, Gideon would publicly destroy her to defend his wife.

"Mr... Mr. Hayes..."

Seraphina's voice began to tremble, all the color draining from her face. "I was just... I was just joking around with Mrs. Hayes..."

"A joke?"

"Is this how the Sterling family raises its daughters? To act like a rabid lunatic, screaming at the wife of The Hayes Group's CEO in public?"

Seraphina's legs shook uncontrollably. Realizing she had kicked a hornet's nest, she desperately tried to drag Giselle's name out to save herself.

"Mr. Hayes, you misunderstand! It was Giselle who..."

"Shut up!"

Gideon cut her off sharply, denying her any chance to make excuses.

"Liam York."

"Here, Boss."
