She had lost every piece of leverage she had to fight back. Even the hands she could have used to prove herself were broken. How could she possibly go up against their fabricated "evidence"?
When the reporters saw her ruined hands, they froze for a moment before erupting into even more unbridled mockery and vicious attacks.
"Stop acting so pitiful! Don't think you can avoid this just by wrapping your hands in bandages!"
"You're just scared to draw! You know you can't sketch those delicate lines!"
"You were perfectly fine yesterday, and today you suddenly have hand injuries right when the scandal drops? This pity act is way too fake!"
"If you don't have real talent, stop hogging the lead designer position! Plagiarist, get out of the industry!"
"You stole those designs! You'll never wash away the stain of being a thief!"
Listening to the endless curses and jeers around her, Nora's heart had long since hit rock bottom.
She had no desire left to defend herself against these baseless crimes.
Gritting her teeth, she shoved her hands deep into her coat pockets. Keeping her head down, she forced her way through by aggressively ramming her shoulders into the two reporters blocking her path. Enduring the barrage of insults and blinding flashes, she squeezed out of the mob and walked into the office building.
The moment she pushed open the glass doors of the atelier, a chaotic, disorganized atmosphere hit her.
The once orderly, artistic studio was now completely trashed.
Torn promotional posters and discarded files littered the floor by the reception desk.
A dozen landlines rang frantically, overlapping one another, but no one bothered to answer them.
In the main workspace, the employees were frantically packing their personal belongings, looking anxious.
Cardboard boxes filled the aisles. Some were on their phones, desperately pulling strings to find new jobs.
Fierce shouting echoed from the direction of the conference room.
Representatives from several partner companies had surrounded the atelier's partners, slamming the table and loudly demanding immediate contract terminations.

The readers' comments on the novel: The Love I Begged For Was Never Real
Storyline is good..but author is wasting time on character's thoughts.why r u streching chapters it's really really boring and annoying.conversation between them childish.she is only saying him get out n what right do u have ..not telling him what he did to her not questioning him..demanding answer. And what happened to him why sudden change of heart care to explain author.....
For the past few chapters either she is sick or he is. It is slightly boring. Author pls let them talk about the issues , she is not at all scolding him.. every scoldings are playing in her mind only. We want some talk between them....
I am also thinking the same....
Has he mistaken Nora as Giselle?...
What happened to him🤔 did he forget everything?...
Hey can u also upload the book " woke up married to my cheating ex"....
Does he know the orphan girl is actually Nora?...
So is he trying to justify everything? At wat rite??? Wer were he wen she needed him the most.......
Haha finally going to see redemption...
I don’t think reborn will happen in this novel. It will be full of her blood only. Actually The title should be changed to only Nora’s suffering instead the love I begged was never real....
