Chapter 204
-Theo-a
“Are you going to say it or not?” I asked, grinding my teeth.
The men chained to the chairs looked away without saying a word, and I was infuriated.
Immediately, I picked up the hot iron and pressed it to their skin, and it burned deeply.
The smell of roasting spread, and I stood aside, smirking while they screamed in horror.
The pain lasted longer on their skin since they were chained with silver cuffs, and they wouldn’t heal unless took them off.
I watched them convulsed with pain, screaming and trying to get the burning sensation to stop.
After a while, I beckoned to Kappa Taylor, threw a full bucket of water at them, and the burning stopped.
The screams had finally stopped.
Only the dripping of water in the stone chamber remained.
I stood in the centre of the room with my sleeves rolled to my elbows.
I moved closer, and fear gripped the hostages, who were shivering after the torture.
My face hardened with anger, and I could feel my heart thundering with fear for Kaia, so I would do everything to get the truth out.
The three captured men sat before me, chained and shaking.
I tossed a small metal flask to Kappa Taylor and Williams, the liquid inside sloshing softly.
“Last chance,” I said, my voice dangerously calm. “Tell me who your master is.”
The men exchanged terrified glances but stayed silent. One spat on the floor, probably his last attempt at bravery.
“I will die, but I won’t tell you anything!” He spat with disgust.
I smirked, walking towards him slowly.
“Alright,” I murmured. “Let’s begin.”
I crouched in front of the man who seemed the bravest. He shot daggers at me, and I realised he would never
talk.
“Open your mouth,” I ordered.
Realising what I had in mind, then trembled.
He shook his head violently. “No, no, no!”
I grabbed his jaw and forced the flask to his lips. The man choked as the bitter fluid slid down his throat.
The others looked at us in disbelief. I ignored them and forced the man to drink.
Then, I let him go and stood back.
At first, nothing happened.
Suddenly, the man convulsed. His body arching and eyes rolling back.
After that, his breath seized, and foam bubbled at his lips.
His limbs jerked uncontrollably before he collapsed sideways, still twitching.
Within seconds, he stopped moving, and he was dead.
The other two froze, their faces turned pale with fear.
I wiped a speck of spittle off his wrist, bored.
“I told you,” I said quietly, “I don’t make er me

I stepped closer, lowering my voice to a low growl, and they shivered, curling away.
“You will tell me who your master is, or you will join him, and trust me, I mean it”
One of the surviving men broke instantly. His leg shook, trembling and pulse jumping at his throat.
“It wasn’t us! We-we Dont really know who the master is. Please believe us”
“Really?” My gaze sharpened.
The rogue nodded rapidly, tears streaming down his face.
“We were paid to do our job, and we did as we were told,” the man said.
My jaw tightened, and my aura pulsed with lethal fury.
“Give me the name.” I gritted. “Who hired you to work for them?”
They hesitated and looked at each other, fear bubbling in their chest.
I turned to Kappa Taylor and nodded, and he moved swiftly.
“Next,” I said quietly.
The men flinched and retreated, but it was useless. They couldn’t do much while cuffed.
Kappa Taylor grabbed the nearest one by the jaw, forcing his head back until his neck strained.
“Tell me who your master is,” I said, and his eyes paled.
“I-I don’t-”
“I’m losing patience.” I pressed the jar against his lips.
The man broke instantly, his voice cracking.
“It’s Garry! Garry Walter! T-The council spokesman!”
My heart stopped, and I moved back.
Garry. The same man who sat on the council, passing judgment. Ramos had informed me of his involvement, but there was no concrete evidence to implicate him, and now?
I shoved the man’s head aside and stormed out.
When I stormed into his house, Garry Walter was drinking tea and looked up from his papers when he saw me walk in.
“Alpha Theo,” he said smoothly. “To what do I owe-”
I slammed him against the wall so hard that a frame fell and shattered.
“Where is she?” I asked, anger surging through me.
Garry’s face twisted with indignation.
“Are you insane?! Release me at once!”
I squeezed harder.
“Where is Kaia?” I asked again, tightening my grip on his collar. It was you, wasn’t it? You orchestrated the attack and got Kais abducted. Who are you working for?”
For a heartbeat, Garry’s eyes flickered. Then he schooled his face.
“I don’t know what lies you’ve been told, but I serve the council. I serve the pack. I serve your father, and now I’ m serving you”
I slammed him again.
“Wrong answer.”
“I will not confess to crimes I didn’t commit!” Garry shouted, voice cracking at the edges. “And I certainly won’t tell you anything, even if I did know!”
That told me everything, and I dragged him out of his house into the van and zoomed off.

Chapter 204
The man was terrified but not of me. He was terrified of someone else.
I leaned in, my voice dropping to a cold whisper.
“Then pray I never find out who you’re protecting. Because when I do… you’ll beg for this moment back.”
Garry swallowed, eyes darting with guilt, but still refusing to talk.
I dragged him out by the collar toward the holding cells.
I would make him talk, one way or another.
I dragged Garry into the basement cell and shoved him into the chair, locking the chains with a harsh snap.
Garry’s glasses were gone, his hair messed, but he still tried to hold that council dignity.
I stood in front of him, silent.
I learnt that silence breaks people faster than lashes do.
“Why did you hire rogues to attack my territory?” I asked calmly, and he looked at me.
Garry jerked against the restraints, panic flashing across his eyes.
“I already told you-I have no idea what you’re talking about! This is a mistake, Alpha Theo!”
“Stop lying.”
“I’m not lying!” Garry shouted, his voice trembling now. “I am being framed! Someone is setting me up, and you,” he swallowed, “…you are falling for it.”
I leaned forward, resting my hand on the edge of the chair.
“You’re accusing me of being manipulated?”
“I’m accusing you of torturing an innocent council official!” Garry snapped. “I demand my representative. This interrogation is illegal, and I will not answer a single-”
I grabbed him by the shirt and yanked him forward.
“You don’t get a representative.”
Garry’s breath hitched. “What?”
“You forfeited your rights the moment you orchestrated an attack on my pack.”
“I did no such thing!” Garry rasped. “Whoever told you that is lying! I have served the council for twenty years-”
“Twenty years of corruption,” I hissed. “Twenty years of backroom deals and hiding your filth behind paperwork.”
Garry flinched, but he stayed silent.
I narrowed my eyes.
“You’re not denying everything,” he said quietly. “Only certain parts.”
Garry’s jaw tightened.
I stepped back, lowering my eyes to the chains around Garry’s wrists.
Then I picked up a silver-tipped dagger and stood in front of him.
“This is your last chance” I said flatly. “Tell me who your master is.”
Garry shook, whether from fear or conviction, I couldn’t tell.
“Alpha Theo,” he whispered, “I swear on my life, I have no master. You’re being misled. I’m innocent. You are hurting the wrong person.”
I studied his face. Garry’s pulse was fast.
His scent was a tangled mess of fear and something else, restraint.
As if he desperately wanted to speak but couldn’t.
I leaned close, my lips almost at his ear.

“Who is controlling you?”
Garry jolted. His eyes went wide, and he looked terrified.
Then his expression snapped back into place.
“I want my representative,” he said firmly. “Now.”
I exhaled slowly. “No, you won’t get anything”
Garry’s face was drained of colour.
I took the dagger, set it on the table in front of Garry, and spoke with chilling finality.
“If you won’t talk voluntarily, I’ll carve the truth out of you.”
Garry shook his head and then, in a shaking voice, he said.
“You’re making a mistake.”
I stepped back, crossing my arms
“No,” he said. “I know what I’m doing, and I suggest you talk soon”
I dragged a chair and sat directly in front of Garry, shaking my legs impatiently.
“Say the name,” he commanded. “Who kidnapped Kaia and why? Who is your master?”
Garry’s throat bobbed. He looked away, lips pressed together as if sewn shut.
I reached forward, gripping his chin and forcing his gaze up.
“Dont make me lose it, Garry. Tell me the truth!”
Garry shook his head immediately, his breath trembling.
“I… I can’t.”
“That wasn’t a suggestion,” I leaned in. It’s an order”
Garry’s chest rose sharply, panic flooding his face.
“You don’t understand,” he whispered. “If I try to say anything, he’ll know.”
