Unloved Unwanted Unstoppable (Seraphina and Dominic) novel Chapter 100

Today, standing up there, she looked like someone he didn't know at all.

He clenched his fingers, a restless, inexplicable irritation surging in his chest.

Sitting next to him, Cynthia could no longer maintain her smile.

She forced herself to take a few deep breaths, turning to him with a deliberately casual tone. "Seraphina really does have some skill. She memorized that script perfectly."

Dominic paused for a second, then gave a slow, understanding nod.

"Zenith Energy is a massive company, and they handed her absolute decision-making power. It makes you wonder exactly how she managed to secure that connection."

Cynthia nodded in agreement. "She's probably doing this to prove herself. No one noticed her at home, so she's desperately clawing for attention out here."

She sighed, feigning concern. "But she has zero experience in this industry. She doesn't know anything. Isn't it incredibly reckless for Zenith to just hand her all the power?"

She looked at Dominic, her eyes flashing with anxiety. "Dominic... she has no idea what she's doing, yet she holds all the cards. Do you think she'll use this as a personal vendetta? What if she deliberately blocks our partnership?"

Dominic's palm tightened.

He tore his gaze away from Seraphina, staring down at the document in front of him before finally speaking. "If she dares to try that, I'll gladly teach her the meaning of consequences."

His voice was flat, but laced with absolute ice.

Seeing that he was dead serious, Cynthia's smile finally returned.

She looked toward Seraphina, her eyes completely frigid.

The corporate representatives took turns presenting on stage.

The tension in the conference room steadily thickened.

Each company had fifteen minutes to pitch their advantages, data, and partnership proposals.

When a reporter asked about the life cycle of the core components, Cynthia gave a vague, fumbling answer, entirely confusing maintenance costs with replacement cycles.

When another reporter pressed her on the source of her experimental data, she awkwardly blurted out the name of an institution.

Whispers instantly broke out in the crowd—that institution didn't even conduct research in that field.

On the judging panel, consultants shook their heads, scribbling notes on their evaluation sheets.

Seraphina sat perfectly still, her expression icy as she quietly watched the woman on stage unravel.

When Cynthia finally stepped down, she practically scurried off, the smile wiped entirely from her face.

She returned to her seat, chugging down a glass of water, her fingers trembling uncontrollably.

The subsequent presentations from the other companies were painfully average—no major highlights, but no disastrous blunders either.
