Unloved Unwanted Unstoppable (Seraphina and Dominic) novel Chapter 101

They reached the final presentation: Midland Energy.

It was a mid-sized firm, far less renowned than the Lockwood Group.

Their representative took the stage and began the pitch.

Their data was solid, their strategy crystal clear, and their grasp of the technical details existed on an entirely different level.

When the representative mentioned that their team had already conducted two rounds of small-scale field tests—and had included all the public test data in their printed materials—Seraphina glanced down at the dossier, the frost in her eyes finally melting a fraction.

She looked up and gave the presenter a subtle nod of approval.

Once all the presentations concluded, the judges entered their deliberation phase.

Seraphina spoke in hushed tones with the consultants.

She frequently looked down to flip through the materials, occasionally pointing at a specific row of data to confer with the person beside her.

The conference room was pin-drop silent, every eye fixed on the head of the table.

Finally, Seraphina sat up straight and cleared her throat. "After a comprehensive evaluation, Zenith Energy has made its final decision. Our partner will be Midland Energy."

"Congratulations to Midland."

The room fell silent for a split second before erupting into expected applause.

The Midland representative could not hide the overwhelming surprise and joy on his face.

Industry peers nearby stepped forward to shake his hand and offer congratulations.

Cynthia sat frozen in her seat, all the color draining from her face.

She suddenly shot to her feet, her voice shrill. "This is completely unfair!"

Her chest heaved as she glared at Seraphina. "This is a personal vendetta! You deliberately bypassed the Lockwood Group because of our private grudge."

Throwing caution to the wind, her voice grew even louder. "Seraphina, you've never worked a day in this industry. You were a stay-at-home wife for six years with zero real corporate experience. What do you even know? What gives you the right to sit there and make this decision?"

She projected both documents side-by-side onto the large screen before finally looking at Cynthia. "I make my choices based on data, strategy, and execution capabilities. It has absolutely nothing to do with personal grudges. If Ms. Ross believes there is an issue with this decision, she is welcome to provide more logical data to overturn it. Empty accusations mean nothing."

The conference room was so quiet you could hear a pin drop.

Cynthia stood there, her lips trembling as she struggled to form a rebuttal, but no words came out.

She turned her head to look at Dominic.

The man's expression was incredibly dark.

He didn't look at her, nor did he look at Seraphina; his eyes were fixed on the documents on the screen, his jaw clenched tight.

Biting her lip, Cynthia sank back into her seat.

The host tactfully seized the moment to announce the next segment of the event.

Seraphina sat back down and picked up her water glass, her hand perfectly steady.
