Unloved Unwanted Unstoppable (Seraphina and Dominic) novel Chapter 103

Dominic's expression remained unchanged, though his eyes narrowed slightly.

"If Zenith is out, we look for international partners. Just because domestic resources are tight doesn't mean we can't look outward."

Cynthia couldn't help but steal an admiring glance at him.

There was an undeniable magnetism to a man this calculated and composed.

She leaned in a little closer and spoke up.

"Speaking of international, I actually networked with a few people in that circle when I was living in the United States."

She paused for effect. "Have you heard of K Corporation? They are the absolute titan of the electrical energy sector globally. Their technical reserves and industrial scale rival Zenith's easily. I briefly met their manager, Mr. Vance, in the past, and we exchanged contact info."

Dominic's brow twitched in surprise.

Of course he knew of K Corporation.

They were one of the top energy giants in the world, with profound technological backing and a global industrial footprint.

He had previously considered trying to establish a connection with them, but he lacked the right person to make an introduction.

"You know him?" he asked, turning to look at Cynthia.

Cynthia offered a modest smile, keeping her tone casual. "I wouldn't say we're close, but we had dinner once. Mr. Vance values personal connections highly. If I reach out to him directly, he should grant us a favor."

The icy demeanor in Dominic's eyes finally began to thaw.

He looked at Cynthia, his gaze softening considerably. "Cynthia, I need you to negotiate this for me. If we can secure a partnership with K Corporation, everything else will fall into place smoothly."

Cynthia nodded earnestly. "Don't worry, you can count on me."

She rested her hand lightly on his arm, looking up at him with a gaze full of unwavering support.

Dominic looked down at her, and the deep crease that had marred his forehead all day finally relaxed.

But as he pulled his gaze away, he instinctively cast one last glance toward the end of the corridor.

The smile on Seraphina's lips softened, but her eyes shone bright.

The elevator doors opened, and the group stepped out into the lobby.

The cool night breeze hit them as Seraphina pulled her jacket a little tighter. She was just about to head toward the parking lot when a deep voice echoed behind her.

"Seraphina."

She froze in her tracks.

Julian stopped as well, turning around to see Dominic striding out of the main lobby doors.

Julian frowned instantly, instinctively taking a half-step forward to shield Seraphina.

Seraphina placed a hand on his arm and shook her head.

"It's fine, Julian. Let me just hear what he has to say."
